Do any of those even have a history of getting genres right? Wikipedia thinks Queen wrote a thrash metal song. Metalwiki thinks Stone Sour is a metal band even though Wikipedia thinks it's a rock band. Amazon has Ghost under Hard Rock & Metal and Rock, which they do for every band that's even slightly heavy because that includes non metal things but besides that, they think Immortal is a pop band and a death metal band at the same time. Are you really going to trust any of these places that can't get the genre of basic bands right?

My boyfriend /u/d34dlycardz doesn't hang around here too much but I'd like to share his band's full length album that just came out a couple of weeks ago. Check it out if you're into Thrash Metal at all. Homicidal by Solace in Murder on Spotify, Amazon, and iTunes
Same for Amazon.
First thing to do is research the Music Corner forums at stevehoffman.com. Discogs won't tell you the best pressing. The database isn't structured to do that there are too many noobs there. People outside of a few people that have large record collections aren't going to through all the effort to catalog their entire collection on discogs. I have about 2000 records and it took me a couple of months to get mine complete. Another source is analogplanet.com. Fremer reviews records and he compares them to older pressings.
If you want to know a few re-issues that worth the money that are still in print I'll give you my list.

The only expensive one is Californication, all the rest are under $30 and you can probably find Electric Warrior for less money than Amazon.
If you notice the list is almost entire Chris Bellman and Kevin Gray. You can look them up on discogs. It will list records that they have cut. This won't tell you which to buy, but it will give you a starting point.

Been listening to this album all day thanks to someone posting this in /r/metal. It's totally blowing my mind right now. So often, melodic death metal goes wrong - in my opinion - by emphasising keyboards, orchestras etc. and forgetting its roots in being guitar-driven music. But this album, "The Eclipse", manages to have so many incredible riffs and guitar solos which carry the melodies and push the song onwards, while also having additional symphonic elements which don't detract from it at all, but actually enhance it. That's a super difficult balance to strike, and I love it.
You can download the album from the iTunes Store/Amazon Digital/Google Play, or order the CD via CDJapan.co.jp. It doesn't look like they have physical distribution of the CD outside of Japan, so the download is probably the best way of getting hold of it.
I see two versions online:, using the U.S. Amazon store for examples:
Regular: https://www.amazon.com/Prequelle-Ghost-B-C/dp/B07BZ8VPK6/ref=tmm_msc_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1527712034&sr=1-1 - This has 10 tracks.
"Deluxe": https://www.amazon.com/Prequelle-Deluxe-Ghost/dp/B07BYWVM26 - This has 12 tracks. The 2 extra are It's A Sin and Avalanche.
So...there is a deluxe version?
