Jhadu. Environmentally friendly, convenient and a lot quicker than a bulky vacuum cleaner. Found at your neighborhood grocery store. Link for the lazy.

Have you never heard of these

I have this crumber:

http://www.amazon.com/Dalla-Piazza-Lustro-Sweeper-D1159/dp/B000J1HSEQ/ref=sr_1_6?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1427477206&sr=1-6&keywords=table+crumber

It's a bit pricey but great quality and guests comment on it all the time. I bought it after having several of the standard stick crumbers break.

Agreed on the first part, disagree on the broom. Old school brooms are much better imo than the modern version. In rural areas its easy to make outdoor brooms using some rough bundle of straw. For inside I love the Vietnamese iteration.

I use something similar to this:

https://www.amazon.com/Dustpan-Extendable-Handle-Upright-Kitchen/dp/B07PMXHG9W

Notice the "rake" built into the dustpan. This helps remove my "tumbleweeds" (Golden Retriever fun & dust) from the broom bristles.

I put a smaller one of these in my tree this year, cats won't go neaaaar it.

I found that the model of crumber made a huge difference. I liked this one.

Thicker tablecloths and tables that have a little padding on top are much easier to crumb than thin cloths and a hard surface underneath. It’s all down to the angle though and practice.

Did you mean Dustgirl, for the broom that Dustman wields is more similar to this one.

I use one of these bad boys. Built in brush and squeegee.

Ooh, that first one looks really close to what I'm imagining. I wonder what emprene is, and whether or not it will scratch paint...

Edit: Found, following this line of reasoning! https://www.amazon.com/Bench-Brush-Shop-Dust-Workshop/dp/B00LPQCZA6/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1523035216&sr=8-9&keywords=dust+brush

Edit 2: Actually ended up with this one. https://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-Counter-Brush-FG634200SILV/dp/B005KDDV4Y/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1523036451&sr=8-5&keywords=dust+brush

I have that exact laser level. For me it's not something I use often, but when I do it's a lifesaver. I have a slew of manual levels that I trust more.

If you're painting, get a 5-in-1 painters tool (lotta varieties out there) and sharpen the edge a little. Not chisel-sharp, but pretty sharp. Makes a great scraper and cleans rollers better than anything else. It'll pay for itself in paint you can scrape back into the bucket.

I got a 24" dust pan a while back and it's the best $12 I've ever spent. Construction cleanup, sawdust, yard trimmings. It looks like they don't make them anymore, which makes me sad.

I'm also a believer in tool belts. I have one general one for framing/construction and one small one for electrical work. My framing one has an easily detachable side pouch that can be put on a smaller belt for basic handyman stuff. Any time you can grab the tool off your belt instead of walking to wherever you set it down is a huge time, back, and annoyance saver.

I found this one on the Amazons but I wonder if I could have found it at the dollar store.

I wish it were a smidge more narrow but it'll get-er- done.

They pick particular items and will then only sell those items to Prime customers. Like this brush for example. "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon exclusively for Prime members" (my wording was a bit off originally). It seems to be a recent enough development, but it's just another reason for me to not buy things from Amazon.

u/Fuxkily · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Sound silly, but this broom, because it'll mean I won't have to constantly bend over to scoop shit up. Lol. Or anyone for that matter!

u/LeeHarveyT-Bag · 1 pointr/longhair

I use this broom which has a little foam insert that collects hunks of dust and hair.

u/outrunu · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

Not everyone has a $15 push broom or an $80 ladder laying around either.

Lately I have been obsessed with yard work. I enjoy it for the first time in my life! I think it helps me relieve stress and it's nice to look at the fresh cut, green lawn and just breathe. I am also obsessed with cleaning the front of my house. I sweep the sidewalks, the gutter, the porch, and pick up all the dog droppings/trash. I like having my house look good. It makes me feel good. It makes you say, "That was some hard work, but man this place looks nice." I never understood the phrase, "Why would anyone do drugs when they can just mow a lawn." Hank Hill, you da real MVP!
