Probably this: https://www.amazon.com/Powerfoot-Hockey-Skate-Performance-Insert/dp/B01A9EMLR6

I ordered on yesterday. Also ordered Bauer 2.0 feet inserts.

I mainly play CSGO and I had the same problem. The Razer grip, Logitech grip, and the grips that came with my Skoll are all mediocre at best for me.

I highly recommend that you find whatever shape you like the best and put Lizard Skins Grip Tape on it. I promise you won't regret it. It is incredibly grippy with no residue or breaking apart. I put it on the sides where my fingers contact as well as the palm area.

You can make it look very aesthetically pleasing by cutting it to follow the curves of the mouse. Like this G305

Amazon Link

It's $10 for like 4ft and it beats any grip on any mouse you've tried by a mile.

I get that they have a certain amount of functionality, but they are so obnoxious on the ice. I'd avoid them unless you're ok with the spotlight as you loudly carve the ice up. If you're worried about sharpenings, invest in sharpening stone and give your blades 3-6 passes before or after every skate to extend the life of sharpenings.

I LOVE this trampoline. I hate that it's in my living room... but I love how great it is for getting out those sudden bursts of energy. My son got it when he was 17 months old and took to it right away. He's 20 months now and gets some serious air. 4am. 9pm. Doesn't matter. When he's too squirmy to listen we tell him "go do some jumpin!" and he runs over to it, hangs on for dear life and jumps until he's out of breath. I suggest wrapping hockey tape around the padded handle bars though. They come foam covered, which is way too inviting for a teething toddler, but ever since I wrapped it we've had no bite issues.

Skate Fenders are really nice to have and not part of the default gear load-out.

An accessory bag (something like this) is really useful for keeping small loose stuff like tape, wax, honing stone, extra laces, etc contained instead of rattling around in your bag.

A Boot Dryer is great for after the game keeping your skates and gloves from getting nasty and helping them last longer.

Air Freshner/odor absorber for the bag. Especially if you dont air your gear out. Even something as small and simple as these can help a lot.

A multi-tool. Doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. Just something to tighten up loose screws with, cut tape or torn bits of gear, and maybe occasionally open a bottle with.

This is not a knock at all on all these new grip fads and I don’t know how else to say it, but why?

Something fun and interesting? Is it actually that much better/change things that much for people who aren’t playing at a junior, collegiate, or professional? Are people unhappy with the way normal tape works? Or this stuff?

Like I said, really not trying to knock anybody’s hustle, but honestly curious! When I was playing competitively in high school, all these things were made fun of kind of (not like that matters), have they improved that much?

EZeefit booties help, jam straps help, there are awesome these AWESOME toe inserts I use that snug my toes in: https://www.amazon.com/Powerfoot-Hockey-Skate-Performance-Insert/dp/B01A9EMLR6

u/CARB0Nrr · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Hyperglide RZ-5's, Omron D2F-01F's, replace the rubber grips with yellow lizard skins, and spray paint the side buttons and dpi buttons yellow. The Deathadder weight is fine as it is IMO.

I did the lizard skin mod to my Deathadder Chroma awhile ago.

Another option to get a bit more grip on a pistol grip that /u/oakleyguy87 could try is hockey grip tape. It's cheap, soft (for delicate hands), and non permanent.

u/Freestyle_Skater · 2 pointsr/rollerblading

Adrenaline Design Powerfoot

These are a skaters dream for a loose toe box. All my skates have them.

u/TwoBallsagna · 2 pointsr/hockeyplayers

Good point. My current skates need toe caps as they were too tall in the toe. These have a world of difference.

u/RaiderJay81 · 2 pointsr/Tools

I used to etch my tools with my first initial and last name. My tools at home have been etched with the last 4 of my social. I was talking to a friend that used to be an investigator for the police department. That friend said that if someone is caught stealing or with stolen property, they'll usually check everything else in their possession. If your tools are marked with your name and drivers license number, the police will be able to contact you and return your items. Also, put the abbreviated state there as well. Cops can usually identify a drivers license number when they see it and will be able to look it up in their vehicle. I've started etching my tools with a small dremel brand engraver (model: 290-01). For my bigger items (i.e; drills, circular saws, and other powertools) I will etch them with name and drivers license number, but then I will also use a black or white paint marker to write my name on it. Sharpie has different size paint markers, don't use the regular sharpie markers because they wear off after a few weeks, the paint markers tend to last a lot longer. I've even made a few different size stencils and spray painted my name on the tools. I used Microsoft Word and selected the "Stencil" font and printed out stencils, laminated them, and then cut it out with an exacto knife. It takes some time, but those stencils are re-useable and tend to last awhile. I was in the Marine Corps and they trained us to mark everything. Even our tools in our toolboxes were marked with the toolbox number, drawer, and item number within the drawer. My underwear and socks were individually marked!!

Also, another thing that I've done in the past to quickly identify my tools from others is to put hockey tape on the handles of my power tools. There's also "GAFFERS Tape" that you can buy with different colors. They're tough like duct tape, but don't leave a sticky residue when the tape is removed. I don't use electrical tape because after awhile, it'll stop being sticky and will either fall off or will just float around the handle and gets pretty annoying. Oh, and sometimes if you're out in the heat and the adhesive gets warm and oozes off and onto your hands making your hands black and sticky. Hockey tape is the tape hockey players use on their hockey sticks and they come in different colors, so if you're a hot pink man, then wrap your handles in pink hockey tape. It's sort of like that tape that's on wooden baseball bats, works great for handles on your impact driver or circular saw. You can also write your name on that part as well. I mean, this stuff was make for the grips on hockey sticks! I think it'll work on your drill. Just a few ideas..

u/Picksle · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

I'm planning on doing a grip tape mod with Lizard Skins because I have sweaty hands and also hate the logo. The logo is a little less than an inch tall so it shouldn't be too hard.

u/venni27 · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Well I personally haven't tried the normal version of the EC2-B but I wouldn't count on it as beeing grippy. I would recommend buying some Lizard Skin 0.5mm (Amazon DE) along with it. But the mouse has got a really nice shape apart from Zowies inconistent black coatings. My hand is 18.5x9.5cm and the EC2-B (Divina edition) is currently my main mouse alongside the KPOE. If you're looking for something similar with stock rubber sides then take a look at the Logitech G403.

u/stormagnet · 2 pointsr/ehlersdanlos

Here's a weird one: a butter knife.

I use it to open cans that have a pull-tab top without wrecking my fingers. Stick the tip through the loop, lever up.

See also: an electric can opener, this giant pill organizer, these grab bars that can easily be installed in the tiniest of apartment bathrooms without starting an argument with your landlord (priceless!) combined with this hockey tape (put it on your grab bars and crutch handles to keep your hands from slipping) and these anti-slip stickers, (I even put the stickers on the bathroom floor.)

u/lifteatandrepeat · 2 pointsr/hockeyplayers

Hello! I am a girl so I am normally a size 7/8 shoe and I am a size 3 skate. The toe box has a bit of space but I plan on using powerfoot. (https://www.amazon.com/Powerfoot-Hockey-Skate-Performance-Insert/dp/B01A9EMLR6) to cover the bit of extra space. Definitely swing by your shop and get fitted. My toes brush the end lightly and it feels perfect on the ice!

u/DenjeRL · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

"Infinity skins" - No. But you can always use this. 0.5mm , there are also thicker.

u/PretttyFly4aWhiteGuy · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

I have it’s ok but didn’t really help much with sweaty hands IMO ... I mean if you’re gonna be spending that much money anyway you should just go ahead and get Lizard Skins grip or some of sort of DSP material grip tape

u/cristian_m19 · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

I got it on amazon germany. Thats the link not sure it it might be of any help but there you go. They also have different colors and camo designs.

u/Terryfrankkratos2 · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Lizard tape is pretty soft, you could probably wrap some around it, its got adhesive backing.

u/TheGoatReturns · 2 pointsr/hockeyplayers

Have you tried one of these?

u/KieranPeterson · 1 pointr/boardgames

Yep, just figured this out myself. I actually found some rubber hockey tape that’s specifically made to be adhesive on one side and grippy on the other. Works amazing for any game tiles/map pieces that don’t have a usable backside. I’ll edit the amazon link in but I’m pretty sure it’s called “Lizard Grip”.

Edit

u/andrewcooke · 1 pointr/cycling

if you want very tacky you can get (or at least, you used to be able to get, when i used it) impregnated gauze tape that people use on sports racket handles. a layer of that over your bar tape works really well, and is easy to remove when it gets filthy (which happens almost immediately because everything sticks to it).

stuff like this.

u/drwilhi · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Hockey tape Especially since I have never played Hockey in my life and have no intentions of doing so either.

u/mdwsta4 · 1 pointr/hockeyplayers

Aside from the obvious (gear), some great gifts/accessories under $50 are....

Antibacterial spray. Spray this stuff on after every use while the gear dries. Helps reduce the stink. Everyone should use this stuff.

https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Gear-Disinfecting-Spray-Bottle/dp/B00BMLJOLM/ref=asc_df_B00BMLJOLM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=216559542401&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3669663079032918150&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008162&hvtargid=pla-354323861212&psc=1

For those of us that sweat, these liners are a godsend. I played once without one the other week by mistake and sweat would not stay out of my eyes. These are a must.

Superfeet carbon or hockey comfort. I was skeptical at first, but they really are great. Worth the price of admission

https://www.amazon.com/Superfeet-CARBON-Professional-Performance-Insoles/dp/B01CGBDJTY/ref=pd_aw_sim_10?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01CGBDJTY&pd_rd_r=9306cb00-696d-43a6-8373-8ae0aa46aba7&pd_rd_w=zhJGK&pd_rd_wg=RZCHj&pf_rd_p=469620d9-3e90-496d-9dc8-b19f900ba5fe&pf_rd_r=8V2WZ8B31YXSCBVJ350Z&psc=1&refRID=CQYS1VGPV81BPZE2Y770

I enjoy stick wax. Helps keep my blade a little cleaner, tape lasts a little longer, and I get a nice smell.

https://www.amazon.com/Sex-Wax-Hockey-Stick-Coconut/dp/B010GJXECK/ref=pd_aw_sim_20?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B010GJXECK&pd_rd_r=9306cb00-696d-43a6-8373-8ae0aa46aba7&pd_rd_w=zhJGK&pd_rd_wg=RZCHj&pf_rd_p=469620d9-3e90-496d-9dc8-b19f900ba5fe&pf_rd_r=8V2WZ8B31YXSCBVJ350Z&psc=1&refRID=P9XFMPX39FC3EHS6EQ49

Too much volume in the toes of your skates? Bauer clearly realized this as their latest lineup has an anatomical toecap which effectively does exactly what these do.

It’s a personal preference, but I switched to Tacki Mac over a year ago in place of traditional hockey tape. It really does extend the life of your gloves and lasts a lot longer.

u/clipper377 · 1 pointr/hockeyplayers

I've been playing in these for a while:

https://smile.amazon.com/Skate-Fender-Pro/dp/B005RSHOPY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500576116&sr=8-1&keywords=skate+fenders

Doesn't really change my skating style, and it's an extra something between the puck and your skate. I've taken two pucks off of them (but to be fair, no serious clap bombs) and it does seem to make a difference. Seemed to spread out the impact and deaden the impact some. Wish the velcro straps were a little neater, they seem kinda cheap.

70 bucks and some ribbing in the locker room or an ER visit and a few weeks off. No brainer for me.

u/liquinas · 1 pointr/hockeyplayers

I use Zogs because coconut is my favorite thing in the world and it's pretty relaxing to me to tape and wax my sticks after a long day and enjoying the scent while doing it.

It's also pretty decent at its job of preventing snow buildup so your stick doesn't look like an old garage freezer after every shift.

u/GildedApparel · 1 pointr/MouseReview

I recommend this for grip

u/cutter89locater · 1 pointr/MouseReview

They're GT5000 grip tape

They're self adhesive tape which I can grip my mouse better. People use it on guns/cellphones.

Recently people use Lizard Skin hockey grip tape.

The G305 is 100g, that's pretty heavy for shooters, a lighter mouse helps with better aim. If you don't want to buy a new mouse I recommend replacing the AA battery inside with a AAA battery + Adapter (or even better, a button battery) and if you want to do it properly also 3D print a few parts to save weight. You can get the mouse down to 57g this way easily.

If you have issues with grip put some Lizard Skin Tape on it, the weight is not why your mouse is slipping but the texture.
