Because the fruits and veggies are processed to high heaven, expensive, and usually full of sugar.

For a fraction of the price you can buy ice pop molds, and fill them with smoothies you make at home.

They also make much more waste than just feeding your kids real fruit and veggies.

These are also an option if your kids are really attached to the ease of eating from the pouch.


Let's say you spend 1.50 per pouch, your kids eat two pouches a day. That's 84 dollars a month in Food pouches.

It's not too bad. Tastes somewhat watery or like ice, thought I'm not sure if that is because I put too much water in this KC batch. Ingredients

• 1 ½ cup heavy cream
  
• 4 oz. unsweetened bakers chocolate
  
• Liquid stevia to taste
  
  Instructions
  
  

1. Heat up heavy cream until almost boiling in the microwave or on the stove.
   
2. Take out of the microwave (be careful it will be hot).
   
3. Break the unsweetened bakers chocolate into several pieces.
   
4. Add to heated cream.
   
5. Let it sit for a couple of minutes.
   
6. Whisk until chocolate is fully melted and combined with cream. Be patient it will come together.
   
7. Add liquid stevia to taste.
   
8. Pour into popsicle molds, put into the freezer for 2-3 hours or until frozen completely.
   
9. To remove from molds, run the molds under hot tap water. Be sure not to get water in the fudgesicle.

Yeah I was thinking about using a silicone popsicle mold the kind that lay flat for the resin and then sand sand sand.
