For those who don't know, Rock Lee is a character from the anime Naruto who has no special abilities (like electricity, wind, fire, etc) but makes up for it through hard work and determination. He trains absurdly hard and as a result is one of the more physically adept fighters in the series.
Little story: [I bought this Rock Lee Macbook Decal] (https://www.amazon.com/Rock-Lee-Naruto-Macbook-Laptop/dp/B006MVOJ1M) off of Amazon and placed it on my mac. I came from a low income family and had to basically self-teach a technical trade while working soul sucking, low wage jobs. My hard work and determination eventually paid off and this decal is a friendly reminder to hustle harder than those around me.

Yay for your first contest! They're fun, aren't they? :) The cheapest item in general on my wish list is a gift card, and then it's this, which is awesome, too! :) As for the more expensive thing, hmm... well, I unfortunately need a new bra, but I also really want a gift card so I can get this! Most laptop keyboards can be removed from the top with minimal effort (they're held on by a couple screws on the underside, usually marked K, and some tabs on the top).
As a general precaution, I would remove it — just to avoid damaging the leaf spring while taking off the key.
Try searching for your model on LaptopKey.com. It should show a picture of the key's structure (Sony uses some weird setups sometimes). Perhaps you'll get lucky and you have keys that'll pop off without accessing the backside of the keyboard.
Beyond that, you can buy a circuit cleaning product like this or try a dab of isopropyl alcohol.
EDIT: In the future, you may want to look into a keyboard skin for your laptop. Not all laptops have this luxury, so I would take advantage of it.
