If you wanted to spend just a little cash to take the quality up a couple notches...

  • Amazon sells bulk tiddlywinks for cheap. $6.50 for 100!
  • Here are some 1" circular labels, 63 per sheet.
  • Download TokenTool and push a bunch of images into circle shapes. I used sprites from Battle for Wesnoth and got a great library of tokens for most human roles and a few of the most common monsters.

Put the circle graphics on a printer template, get the alignment set up, print out labels, and BAM, you've got 1" round battlemat tokens for all sorts of monsters & NPCs.

I was always recommended Avery Shipping Labels for a more DIY solution.

Whether it is a discussion about audio equipment, politics, or religion, one thing remains true: belief trumps evidence.

Here is Winer demonstrating the difference between cables at different price points: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HB59GQK

I will say this: When cables are poorly made, or don't meet basic specs, they can affect sound negatively. On the other hand, expensive cables cannot make the sound better.

Awesome designs.

I see you're using clear labels or watersides though. If you want the bare metal look, and you have a laser printer, I'd do a toner-transfer right on to it. You can even print in colour: https://imgur.com/a/SlmS90z ^That' ^my ^3rd ^pedal. ^it^has^an^LED^now.

I've been using the back of kraft brown labels with surprising results. As a bonus, you can label all your components.

I get the passport stamps for all of the National Parks I visit and have always seen the books for sale in the visitor centers where the stamps are located. On the off chance that the parks you visit are sold out, you can always stamp a sticker and then put the sticker in the book at a later date. I have used these 1.5" label/stickers that I ordered from Amazon. I would expect that they can be found in an office supply store if you don't have time to order. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G7HJR41/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You want minis for PCs or monsters or both?

For PCs if you have money to invest, go to Heroforge. (Avoid the Ultra-Detail plastic, even though it is VERY detailed, it is also VERY fragile and will most assuredly snap at the ankles sooner than later.)

For monsters, I bought these round label stickers, it comes with a free trial on their website where they have a design generator that will perfectly print your tokens lined up with the stickers on the sheet.

Then I bought these 1" plastic chips and some 1" plastic coin holder pages for binders, and now I have several hundred creature tokens that fit in a 2" binder.

I really ended up liking them. I just used a sharpie rather than printing on them. There should be a template out there or something for them?

As I am not the only person that works in the cabinet and may never access it again at some point I had to label things on both ends so they know what server and port everything connects to. Data and power are labeled. No confusion this way.

I started making new labels for my collection a few weeks ago, and it is a bit of a pain. If you're not interested in spending a lot of time and money getting labels perfect, I recommend going to retrogamecases and paying the $5/label there. If you're still interested, here is my process:

There are no good sources for high quality label scans that I know of, so I generally make them myself in photoshop using a heavily modified version of this template. The same guy has a European style template as well, but I cannot vouch for its accuracy. Fortunately there is a good source for cover art, which is the cover project. Generally you can make a decently accurate label using the cover art here. Sometimes you need to fudge around with photoshop to remove logos or other stuff that is sometimes on the cover.

For printing, I use an inkjet printer with high quality glossy sticker paper that I then laminate and cut with a scrap-booking cutting machine. After it is cut I can remove the adhesive backing along with the back layer of laminate, and it looks very close to a real SNES label. This particular sticker paper is very unforgiving, so make sure your sticker is even before touching the cartridge!

If there is anything you would like more detailed information about, let me know and I would be glad to help.

Anyone have a full sized thermal printer?

I have one that fits 8.5x11, but I can't seem to find the right labels for it. I want to get full page sticky labels for FBA shipments, and 30 sheets of address labels for FNSKU's but I actually can't find anything that big.

Is my best bet regular thermal paper and put it in one of those sticky clear "bags" that UPS puts on boxes? And then I think I can get address labels for my 4xl but seems tedious to have a giant roll of FNSKU's rather than say, 5 pages.

Edit: these are what I'm referring to:

Full page labels (except for thermal, not inkjet): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MNKMCDZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5A5IDb6WM9KNV

30 per page labels (again, for thermal): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006B8FZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VB5IDb5GRKY8Z

i think they mean first class mail versus first class package. as long as it's legible and i think 4x5 is im sure it's no problem. a quick search on amazon shows several 4x5 labels for shipping so i imagine it's not a problem...https://www.amazon.com/Buhbo-Address-Shipping-Sticker-Printers/dp/B07L8PG9QK/ref=sr_1_9?crid=3KPSJSLHUQWXV&keywords=4x5+labels&qid=1570753420&sprefix=4+x+5+lab%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-9

I would recommend using labels which are available for pretty much any type of printer, rather than more expensive printable discs. Labels give you greater flexibility with your design, and are available in a variety of paper types (matte, glossy, foil, etc).

I would go with printed stickers. You can get printable sticker sheets easily, then apply them to the plastic backing.

Amazon FC's are notorious for losing items and screwing up your items in more ways than you can think of, even when you send them labeled perfectly. Send unlabeled items sounds like a nightmare for you and them.

I use clickandlabel. Take the time to install the Dymo software and go through the various settings and it will work.

Worst case I would use 30-up labels on a regular printer if you can't get thermal to work. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Address-Labels-Inkjet-Printers/dp/B074KQYB4T

u/iMacCarthy · 0 pointsr/Flipping

A thermal printer does not require ink. The paper is pressed to create an imprint for the label/print. Many in this sub use dymo thermal label printers for 4x6 shipping labels. Thermal label printers are also used for receipts, but a full page size is not common.

It sounds like you’re referring to inkjet vs laser printer differences. Laser printers use toner and can be better for large volume printer (in cost savings over inkjet).

A standard shipping label is roughly a half sheet. You can get Two Label per sheet stickers for inkjet or laser printers.

You could also tape a standard piece of paper to a package to use as a shipping label (just don’t cover barcode).
