I bought this jacket on Amazon. It fits well, I got the small. The only thing is, the back is not covered in blue like the front.

I copped the same Levi's Sherpa Trucker Jacket in Corduroy last year from Amazon for $59. It goes on sale periodically.

Edit: Mine does not have the sherpa lining throughout the jacket, just on the collar.

    This was my list that I gave to Family/Friends. It's basically my first attempt at dressing nice, so any criticism/suggestions would be great. It was basically completely based on this, besides the jacket, watch, and sunglasses.

Hey MFA, I'm looking for a nice lean, slim-fitting jacket (maybe a moto style) for my husband for his birthday on the 8th. This wouldn't be much of a problem for a normally proportioned person, but my husband is 6'5 and ALL torso, so he requires a tall fit for everything.

I'd like to stay under $150. Any advice for where to look? Anybody else suffer from this tallness and have a go-to brand?

I use this jacket. It's waterproof (I wore it while biking all last winter. No leaks), but the texture on it looks like a nice cloth material. It's also thin, so you can wear it in the late spring, or layer in winter.

Well, then I suppose I am a victim of misused terminology in places it should be correct. I did find the discrepancies strange. That is, as a matter of fact, almost exactly what I am looking for, except with a more defined, narrow waist (but without a sash or belt). The closest item to what I want I've found so far, was, as a matter of fact, listed under 'trench coats'. But yes, if you could direct me to a retailer that sold something in line with what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate it.

If it's just the sleeves that are too baggy you might want to try a different style than the typical MA-1 slim bomber.

which is the "Skymaster" was a true thin fit and fit way more streamlined especially in the arms than the normal MA-1 slim bomber.

I bought one from costco last year by a brand called Paradox and it was $25. I don't see it on their website any longer but they are on amazon for about the same price. I've worn it a handful of times and I can say that it works just as well as my torrentshell. If you aren't looking to spend much, this is a good route to take. I got this one from amazon. Its really sweet and like you said, clean. I wanted something I could wear while riding so no collar and a zipper, both of which this has. This is my first battle jacket and one thing I struggle with when it comes to sewing on it is the liner. I really didn't want thread through the liner so sewing is quite tedious. I don't own a black jacket so that's what I'm leaning towards, although my current brown one is not really similar at all; I'd just like some variation in colour even if I prefer the look of the brown one.

Please recommend me rainproof jackets that have insulation. I need a lightweight rainproof jacket that has insulation so I don't sweat if there isn't sweat weather. This seemed like the perfect jacket but I heard it retain moisture from sweat and it isn't breathable.
