If they don't you can in effect do that yourself. The weekly ones I forgot to do but I have a monthly one. I refill it with my pills and vitamins once a month while watching a TV show so it isn't so tedious.

I also have an app on my phone called Medisafe that puts a reminder on my screen / makes noise to take my pills that I can hit snooze if I am not near my pills. It tracks if you miss doses.

I have a zipped pill organizer with spares of my day time pills in my purse. So the Monday slot is a bunch of my iron, Tuesday slot is extra of afternoon prescription etc... Because it zips the pills don't get spilled in the bottom of my purse.

Sorry the links are messy. I don't know how to do that on mobile.

I recommend getting a small container for your keychain and keeping ear plugs in it. You may surprise yourself with the number of situations you find yourself reaching for them when you always have them on hand. I have a sleep disorder, and I have a very hard time staying on a 24 hour clock.. This means that all the med timers and apps in the world aren't going to help me. At some point that 'morning' med time turns into bedtime, or worse "the middle of the night".

I found a solution that REALLY works well for me.

I picked up this amazing pill organizer, then used lighter fluid to remove the numbers.

I sit down and spend some time once a month, filling these little pill holders, then I set the whole array on the corner of my desk.

At bedtime when I take the 'PM' dose, I flip the now empty container over and put it into the empty slot in the tray.. then I take out the next day's container and stick it in front of my keyboard.

When I wake up, I take the container, dump the "AM" dose on my mousepad, then take the container and place it on a little gap on my keyboard where it sits all day until I'm ready for bed.

In the 3 months I've been using this system, I've missed about 7 night doses, and not one morning dose.

I usually make sure that the evening dose is something I won't have problems if I miss.. Missing a couple vitamins every now and then won't kill me, but I have morning and evening doses of those, so it's not like I didn't get ANY.

But so far, like I say, I've only missed a handful of evening doses, and it's usually because I laid on my bed to watch a movie and fell asleep.

I use one of these for my first aid kit to hold a bunch of various OTC meds:

Waterproof, works pretty well so far.

Edit: I do toss in a few cotton balls on top of each compartment to prevent them breaking up when rattling around.

I recently switched from that kind of single container to one only slightly bigger, but it has 3 chambers. Sometimes I take different strains, or I reserve one for storing abv on the go.

I use this pill organizer from amazon and put various “as needed” meds in it, like Tylenol, Pepcid, migraine drugs, etc. I labeled each compartment by writing on the clear cover with a dry erase marker, so i can rearrange later if needed. It’s really helped cut down on carrying multiple bottles.

Honestly...my go-tos are Teva Hurricane XLT Infinitys. No breakin time at all, super comfortable, lots of arch support for my gigantic arches.

Musts: pocket packing options for necessities like meds so you don't have to carry a bag. I've usually improvised the meds portion with various containers inside a little cloth bag, but my husband recently got some of these pill cases that are perfectly sized for pockets. Small cloth bags (like makeup bags but littler? I usually get 'em at craft fair type things) for other smallish pocket-things help too. Makes it easy to take out your pocket contents to go through the metal detector. Bandaids and moleskin should be brought with you (pre-cut the moleskin if you are a carryon-only, no-scissors type) to the parks in case you get a blister while there. TomboyX underwear in 6" or 9" if you're going to wear dresses/skirts (no more rubbing stuff on your thighs to prevent chafing). A mini-wallet so you're not carrying your whole normal one if you just need your ID and a couple credit cards. An Anker charger for your phone for long park days - mine's old and huge but they make smaller ones now. Do not underestimate how much you will want lip balm. At this point, bring a reusable straw too, from what I've heard of the continued deprecation of useful plastics. A portable white noise machine if you're using to having whit noise at home and an Amazon fire stick if you wanna be able to watch what you want on your resort TV. A long charge cord for your phone because plug locations vary in a lot of resort rooms. I'm sure I'll think of more...

This is behavior hacking! You need to (1) remove obstacles to success and (2) set up rewards and punishments for your behavior.

(1) Remove Obstacles

Stumbling Block: Too many bottles to open when I’m tired
On Sunday evenings, when my husband is ironing shirts and I’m going over my doctor’s appointments for the week in my calendar, I also put my pills in a weekly pill sorter. I had to try a few to find which one worked best for me.

Stumbling Block: Mid-day meds forgotten at home
Right now I’m on AM/PM only but when I had mid-day meds, I put them in a separate, smaller pill sorter that went into my purse since I am often out mid-day.

Stumbling Block: Don’t want to get out of bed to take meds in the kitchen/supplies were all over the place
My med bottles, heating pad, pain cream and other pain/injury stuff are in a 3-tier rolling cart from IKEA that is by my bedside. I try to keep the top tier clear except for my pill sorters, my take as needed meds and a few other small bits.

Stumbling Block: Started ignoring my alarms
I have phone alarms that have a loud and annoying ringtone to remind me to take my meds. I change it up every few months so I don’t get too used to it. It’s also a different sound than my wake up alarm and my other phone sounds. Some people do better setting a physical alarm clock that is harder to turn off or ignore.

(2) Rewards & Punishments

For awhile when I was struggling to take meds, I had a deal with my sister that I’d text her every am and pm with a picture of my empty pill sorter section that was time/date stamped.
(Note the removing obstacles here by fighting against my instinct for laziness. The check in was twice per day, required a photo and required a time stamp.)

Punishment:
I gave her an envelope with $25 bucks per week in it. If I missed an accountability picture text, I lost $5. If I was more than 30 minutes late with my meds, I lost $2.

Reward:
At the end of each week, she’d tell me my balance and if I never missed a dose, she sometimes put in an extra $5 reward (Never asked her to do that. It was just her being awesome.)
Reward:
At the end of the month, she’d send me the money in the mail since we live a few hours away. We could have done all this electronically, but physically sending her an envelope with $100 in it each month and physically getting that money back (or less money back) made it much more real to me.
Reward:
I also got to reward myself with that money by paying for a massage or pedicure or a nice haircut/blowout.
Penalty:
If I didn’t have enough money for the reward I was working towards, I didn’t get to do it.

This worked super well for me until I got into a better natural rhythm. Now I do it for myself and my husband kind of checks in with me about it.

Here are some tools I’ve tried and liked:

AM/PM 7-Day Pill Sorter, long & flat - nicely sized, has push buttons instead of snaps that hurt fingers, good colors
AM/PM 7-Day Pill Sorter, removable rectangles - nice, large capacity, easy open, secure close, individual squares for each day of the week, 8th container for extra meds

Mid-Day/Travel Med Sorter, rectangle - nice size, secure, removable compartments for different pill sizes, up to 4 sections, nice colors
Mid-Day/Travel Pill Sorter (Round, 7 day) - east to load, easy to dispense, 7 sections, small and well-designed

Did You Take Your Pills? Tool - small card that has switches you can flip for each day and AM/PM to ensure you take meds
Time Since Last Dose Pill Bottle Caps - Of you forget when you last took your meds, check the color-coded caps to see how long it’s been since your last dose. Helpful if you take multiple times per day or struggle to remember if you’ve taken each med. several colors so you can mark multiple bottles.

Good luck OP!

I personally have an olive drab 'Rip Away EMT Pouch' from Condor. I work seasonally for the US Forest Service and we are encouraged to keep a small first aid kit with us, I wanted something small that I could stick on the side of my line gear, here is a side profile of the pouch as well.

On the inside I keep some very basic stuff, gloves, a few 4x4s/3x3s/2x2s, a few small bandage rolls and bandaids, a small roll of kling and tape, a thing of quikclot, an icepack, an elastic swat-t tourniquet, cpr faceshield, alcohol preps, an antibiotic ointment, hydrocortisone cream, some blister pads and moleskin and a small bottle of eye wash. I also have this pill organizer stuck in there where I keep some basic OTC meds like ibuprofen, tylenol, asprin, immodium, benadryl, acid reducers, and motion sickness pills. I also have a rolled up sam splint I pack that won't fit in my pouch.

It feels excessive to me sometimes for a 'first aid' kit, but when we are way out in the backcountry away from help I am glad I have it. And I like having a little extra (especially the OTC meds) because there is always someone on the crew who didn't pack anything, and I like to help em out until we get back to camp. I also keep it with me during the off season if I go hiking or camping with friends.

As far as flashlights go, I think I saw it here on r/ems but someone recommended the Cree 7W 300LM Mini LED and holy hell are they awesome, plus at $2.31 a piece they are a steal. Solid body, sturdy metal clip, and runs on a single AA battery. I have like 15 of these things, I keep them in all my vehicles, backpacks, tool drawers, etc. I keep one in my pants when I am at work as well.

Idk about this exact product but I use something similar to have my meds on me and it’s sealed pretty well. It’s waterproof and I don’t think it would come unscrewed by accident.

Check the FAQ and search for electrolytes. I forget the exact numbers, but they give the minimum of sodium, potassium, and magnesium you should be hitting.

KCKO!

Edited to add: I supplement magnesium from a dose of Natures Way magnesium citrate. I supplement sodium and potassium with ketoade. My recipe is 1 sleeve Propel Zero Grape powder mix + 1/4 tsp. iodized Lo-Salt + 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt.

If you premix your own electrolyte mix into portions, you can bag it up in pill bags and take some with you: Ezy Dose Disposable Pill Pouches (50 count) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001FVG5QQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_WNZFzbDKRNREQ

My main problem with the weekly grab and go is they would not fit everything. I take big fish fish oil and msm pills as well as others so the compartments were too small. These are awesome. I load them up once a week and leave them by my other stuff. I just grab one and throw it in my bag.

Have you tried little pill bags? I slip them in my wallet or my pocket so I always have whatever I need handy. They’re pretty sturdy so you could reuse them. I’ve accidentally washed them a few times and the pills inside were fine.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I've used things like this before to take single servings of spices with me on the trail. If you are careful with them they will last more than one trip as well, so they aren't as wasteful

this is the one I use. it's a bit bigger than I'd like but the multiple segments are nice.
