Let's go with that pin. Assuming that they can get them down to half-price through bulk discounting, this would be an order of about $10,000,000. At which point I'm assuming that the artisanal office supplies maker would make 200 pins, pay somebody a million dollars to gateclone that batch a million times, and get away having spent an hour or so with a 9 million dollar profit. Just, convert dollars to whichever galactic currency from a thousand years in the future that you please.

Also, assuming that those pins are about a hundredth of an inch in diameter (the site says they're one inch long), you've got just over a quarter of a cubic meter of steel in this thing, which will weigh over 2000 kilograms. That's not accounting for the paper flags either.

But...is that extra housing really making it a $15 a pop magnet? I guess I just don't get it. To me the selling point is the strength of it. Maybe I did miss the mark here.

They ran one campaign already though- so shouldn't that money have gone to the equipment they need?

Also do you mean at 1" by 3/4" each one would be $100? Wow!

It that why a neodyium set like this 48 for $13 one is done in acrylic that can be injected/cast?

u/anndee96 come and rob a sushi joint with me 😍😍

One idea I have is we can sneak this sushi pin cushion full of fish roe pins and poke the people until they give us all the sushi in the place 😂

OR We could train an army of attack cats dressed in sushi outfits to distract and attack the owners of said restaurant until we get what we came for muahahaha 😊😁

And we can wear these awesome tuna roll earrings the whole time to look fan 😍

And we can keep our super secret mission plans on this sushi hard drive 😁😁

What do you think???

I think these Mustache pins are pretty bad ass! Thanks for the contest :D

I wouldn't trust glue to hold this. The picture looks like they just used large decorative head nails similar to these:

Good luck

I'd love to see some pics of your build when it's done.

My rough cost estimate was based on these white thumbtacks in the shape you originally pictured on Amazon for $2.33/100, assuming they're 3/8" across.
The spots where there's a drywall nail/screw just below the surface can be dealt with by cutting off the pin and sticking the head to the surface with putty.
Imagine how much whoever has to remove them all one day will hate you though. It would probably be easiest to tear off the drywall and start from scratch.

You can probably make your own using some sort of rubber roller (e.g., from hardware store or the web) and push pins.

With the pins, remove the needle from the plastic, then push/hammer the sharp end into the rubber roller too whatever depth and spacing you want.

edit: and obviously make sure you don't lose a push pin tip in the food!!

Use these and pin them in an inconspicuous location : The Hillman Group 122264 Upholstery Twist Pins https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XJ5I9W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_GH0EAbC2KX2QH

I have one similar to this and I love it. Mine was not that expensive, though I bought it a few years ago. I would imagine, if you shop around, you might be able to find something similar with a better price.

It's pretty much any metal part of your car that would be connected to the body. You can use practically anywhere in the engine bay, any metal body part, or any metal connected to either of those. Since the bracket that houses your head unit is metal and it is bolted to your car body's metal, it would work as a ground.

When I troubleshoot electrical in a car, I sometimes use these t-shaped pushpins like this (ADVANTUS Gem 2-Inch T-Pins, 100 per Box (85T) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004E5E6GG). Stab the wire with the pushpins and then test against those pins. You can buy those at any Walmart or OfficeMax, maybe at Dollar stores too.

Wallscrolls have some nice flexibility. Take two push pins, push into the wall at the right distance, and you can rest the top bar of the wallscroll on the pins. The advantage? Since only gravity is holding it up you can easily and quickly replace it with other wallscrolls.

Sorry I guess I needed more coffee this morning as I missed that part. Here is a “mechanical indicator” on a switch. link because it’s mechanical I don’t think you will find one that does three colors.

Please do me a favor and get some black push pins.
