Looks like something you'd see in a Pottery Barn catalog. So pricing would be on the more "high end/rustic" side of things.

Considering this swing on amazon is $40 I would say you'd be comfortable charging anywhere from $90 to $120. Possibly more due to this example

Now then, that will be $150 for my consulting fee ;)

Edit: Make sure your paracord meets any standards for weight guidelines before selling. Or include something about the max weight. Don't want someone 300lbs sitting on it and suing when it breaks.

Your kids are quite young, so I'd say yes go for it. Kids start to lose interest in swing sets by 8 or 9 years old, so getting one for a 6 or 7 year old is not ideal.

One thing I'd recommend, especially with the ones you're looking at, is to get a variety of swing attachments and change them out periodically to keep it fresh. So you might have a basic swing and a tire swing, then change them to a trapeze and a "horse" thing, then a swing and rings. I think you can even change out the slides if you have a place to store an extra slide.

When my kids had a play set, I got a bunch of these and just put them all over it. They're going to climb where they're not supposed to, anyway, so might as well make it more fun.

I got 3 boys - I take them hiking and fishing. Total cost is approx. $15/day including fishing licenses and/or parking fees (usually donations) and a gatorade to share.

We have a Stone Mountain pass (not the expensive membership, although it has been tempting). They have a lots of fun places like playgrounds, hiking, and a neat area where kids can kinda splash in a creek. (Near the grist mill, just walk along the creek/trail until you get to where it crosses the creek).

Your area has tons of great trails though, download the "AllTrails" app and you can find lots nearby. A 4 year old can do all the "Easy" trails and a fair amount of the "Moderate" Trails, as long as you are willing to turn around instead of finishing longer paths!

My favorite Roswell trail is the Old Mill Park. I've seen people fish in the stream there, too, but I haven't fished there myself, yet.

I also like to take my kids to different parks, I have an inflatable pod swing that I keep with some strong rope in my trunk, as well as a seat-disk . When we go to parks and trails we keep an eye out for a good place to hang the swings, temporarily. Depending on how busy the places are, sometimes a bunch of other kids will want a few pushes on the swing.

>I'd love any feedback

This is DIY, so I've got to let you know that you have serious design flaws that might result in spontaneous combustion. Here's what I suggest to fix these issues:

Serious lack of iceberg spotting technology

Better add the '10,000 leagues under the sea' version, just in case

Also, what about if they need to dodge an asteroid? (No need to make it electronic, just lots of fun levers and switches that make satisfying clicks)

Btw, make sure whatever you buy actually works. It's silly to pay the same price for a periscope you can't see through.

My coach has us do sprint drills. We just focus on running with high knees, and sprint through tiny hurdles. Or we put one of these on the ground and sprint through them with high knees, or do different step drills in them. We do different variations of these

EDIT: Added more info on drills.

I know this doesn't meet your requirements exactly, but the Gorilla Gym works well for my (younger) kids. I hang gymnastic rings from them too and there are cool attachments like swings(!).

Also, this thing is just cool: https://www.amazon.com/Playground-Training-Climbing-Gymnastic-Backyard/dp/B00NV34PSG

Again, those don't match what you're looking for but just wanted to mention it.

OK, to actually answer your question: This bar is the only "portable" bar I know of: https://trapezerigging.com/products/elite-xl-freestanding-portable-pullup-bar. However, it suffers because it will wobble even doing pull-ups. I can imagine bigger moves like muscle ups or pull-overs would be scary for fear of it tipping over.

Another option is to check your local sporting equipment re-sellers. I've seen 1" thick rubber tiles being sold at the outlet near me.

At home I've got some of the 1.5" Rogue Regupol tiles -- got them last year during the Black Friday 5 items ship for $5 promo. They're a lot stiffer than I expected and quite dense. Here's some close-ups of the underside and side for your reference.

I've also tried the 1.75" Playfall playground tiles. I'm not too crazy about dropping weights on these since the rubber is quite spongy and the center of the tile (where your weights will most likely land) isn't as solid as the corners are. Here's a pic of the underside so you know what I'm talking about.

And I picked up some large eyebolt screws from a local hardware store for $2 each.

Drill into the frame of your door or if your ceiling has a support beam that works too. Attach carabiners. Secure both ends of fabric and assure it’s not twisted. You may have to adjust the length as some fabric is stretchy.

Was less than $40 total. And super easy.

My mast has a fixed eye for a spinnaker pole, so I clip one end of the hammock onto that. For the jib end, I bought these straps to wrap around the jib. Then I attach the spinnaker halyard to both D-rings on the strap.

The hammock in the photo is Mexican/Mayan style. The one I purchased only fits me. link

I'm going to buy another hammock to fit two people, but I'm not sure if I want one with spreader bars.

I actually purchased the Ninja Slackline kit from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Slackers-Ninjaline-Pro-Combo-obstacles/dp/B01GPJH8CC/ref=sr_1_11_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1540468243&sr=8-11-spons&keywords=ninja+slackline&psc=1

You can buy the entire kit or just certain grips you want from their website as well. These are plenty challenging when just starting out

This may work.

They make anchors for playsets/swing sets for when you can't use concrete. They twist in the ground like an auger, then screw to the bottom of the leg. I have seen them on amazon and various manufacturer websites.

Special add-on for your flight is velcro pants. If we're going to go this route, why not just put everyone into swings

u/ophidianolivia · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

I have never used it, but I'd really like one for my toddler: Sportspower My First Toddler Swing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ENX08OM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-GDzCbJFYNXY9

I took an 8ft 2x4 and fixed this hanger to it. I lined up the board directly below the line of braces between joists and secured it with two screws for each joist crossed. It has held tight even though the 2x4 doesn't sit flush against every joist. Still jiggles the walls some, according to my roommate upstairs.

This one is a round 40" diameter. Amazon has a lot of different sizes

How tall is she? We had this climber/slide when my son was around a year old. It's really small, so I wouldn't recommend it for taller kids.
