No blisters since getting Balega socks:

$14/pair, but they work.
Most of my post-op gripes are around swelling of the leg / knee in general. Get something to prop up the foot of your bed (not just your leg, do that as well). I used wood / suitcase to prop up my bed and still put my leg up on pillows.
Random equipment based recommendations for post-op.
Other random thoughts.
I love Asics Women's Intensity socks. Very comfortable and my feet don't get super hot and sweaty in them. I also like the cushioning around the top of the sock.
These are the ones I use, they're definitely more cushioned than other socks expecially on key blister spots such as where you're getting, and you can feel the difference in thickness before you put them on, and they don't make your feet stay all sweaty! They're kinda pricey but they have helped me and it's not like you have to buy all the pairs you need right away.
Nike Running Elite Cushion NST.(Amazon). They're very comfie. Unfortunately, they're not producing them anymore so I'm having a hard time some new pairs..
Yep! Big Peach. That's the first place I went when I was planning to run the Peachtree. I believe I got my first pair of Balega socks there - I'd found the PERFECT ones and then one day my dog got a hold of them. I threw them away and could never find them again :(
I just ordered these to see how they do;

SmartWool Men's Phd Run Ultra Light Micro Socks (Black/Black) Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012CUF1MW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LOR1BbMKHY540
I don't think anything is gonna guarantee lack of sweating or what not, but these don't break down on and get holes on me like cotton ankle socks usually do and seem to be breathable like cotton with a little better moisture wicking. And don't seem to aggravate my sweating like synthetics do. Pricey, but they last for ages.
Haven't really found a good dress sock unfortunately. I just use Calvin Klein cotton dress socks, since most other dress socks seem to be synthetic blends that don't breathe well. I use the heavier smartwool non ankle socks for winter. Good luck with your search.
I recently got a second pack of these asics. They come just above the ankle and do a great job as running socks. Balega socks are super great too, and I'll honestly probably end up getting a pair or two of their quarter socks at some point or another, but just too expensive for me to justify buying any more than one pair right now.
Adidas energy socks! They fit so comfy, never move on me, work well for getting your feet wet, never had a blister! also, they make my giant feet look cute. oh and Ive had mine for years and they arent worn at ALL. I have four pairs and I use them all every week
edit: these ones. they seem to have other socks called energy socks
Wrightsock double-layer socks. Also in a merino model. Really good value for the money.
Wrightsock Coolmesh II Crew Running Socks

I love these.
Edit: the link is for the crew cut. They have ankle ones too. Too lazy to find the link.
I have these on my new year, new me list and I have these and these on my clothes list. I don't know if they are cool enough for ya lol but if I win you can choose which one to gift. :)
Thanks for the contest. :)
Not full toe separators, but I use this single-toe one for running & everyday walking because I have a bunion. It does help with pain but I have to wear moisture-wicking socks for 5+ miles or it blisters my second toe a little bit. I use these socks, mainly because they're part of the swag for a 5k I do every year.
I use hooka kliftons and these [socks](balega blister resist no show running socks for men and women (1 pair), charcoal lime, small https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012BYSUOU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JcLvCbK82WK2V)
I just ordered a pair of the ones you linked, but in women's size. Thanks again, I'm going to try them on my next day hike, which I think should be this Friday!
These guys right here

I also buy Inov-8 shoes that are super snug, so there's no movement in them at all. Less movement=less friction= less blisters.
