sejongmall, you can buy it from them on amazon!
It's softer, whiter, doesn't squeak, often has a wax coating so that your hands don't get chalky, and is twice or more the diameter of chalk you see in the US. I use these (and their color version). If you use a chalkboard a lot it's well worth the investment.
Yah libgen and save your money to buy wicked fancy chalk
These are the things I use daily:
Absent any one, I think it unlikely that I would function properly.
I'd never heard of this till you brought it up, but it's amazing that there's a chalk that mathematicians are mourning the demise of.
Surprisingly, it's available on Amazon, but at a truly ridiculous price.
I think this is the original Hagoromo Fulltouch White Chalk 72pcs by Hagoromo Bungu https://www.amazon.in/dp/B007R76ND2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PhkZCb5G7E7Y7
It's for ₹17,241/-!!!!!
But there's also this one, for a less ridiculous price of ₹1,674 for a pack of 12
HAGOROMO Fulltouch Color Chalk 1 Box, Non-Toxic, Dustless [12 Pcs/10Color Mix] https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01HDNVHYE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_9kkZCbVNTM5AH
and in a pack of 72, for ₹6,166/-
Hagoromo Fulltouch 5-Color Mix Chalk 1Box 72pcs Red Yellow Blue Orange Yellow Green https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01HDNVDOI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AmkZCb4KMG8GH
I'm guessing the first is a legacy pack from the original manufacturer, and the latter two are from the company that took over the brand. And the box has print in Hangul, as opposed to the Kanji on the original, so I'm guessing this is a Korean manufacturer, not Japanese.
I am located in the US so it is US pricing. This is one of the sets I have that's $15.
$85 seems insane
thanks! they are VersaChalk chalkboard markers from amazon. I used a few coats of chalkboard paint on thin plywood, do not recommend it. it took several coats of the markers to get an even coat and if I messed up, it's very near impossible to clean it off without re painting the chalkboard. I'm sure they write beautifully on real chalkboards 😊
chalkboard markers
Looks like Hagoromo makes their own chalk holder. The price is pretty steep though. Can anyone here vouch for it? I've been wanting to pick this up but the price seems high unless it's a high quality product.
YESSSS. I just bought chalkboard markers for our engagement photo "save the date" prop, and they rule. I can't say how they work on chalkboard paint as I had an actual chalkboard but I really can't see why they wouldn't work. These are the ones we bought
And as someone else said, mine showed up on anything... not just chalkboard. Make sure you shake and press repeatedly until the "ink" comes out. They don't just start working straight from the box. You have to press the ink into the tip.
Then again Ah that Canadian dollar.

Best chalk in the world.
Hagoromo Fulltouch
Get the Japanese chalk. http://www.amazon.com/Hagoromo-Fulltouch-White-Chalk-72pcs/dp/B007R76ND2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370560038&sr=8-1&keywords=hagoromo+chalk
There's still some dust, but it's much less.
Edit: I've been using the Hero pens from Bullet # 1 above since I learned to write. It's a thing with old people, how they approve of ink/fountain pens and express disdain for ballpoint/rollerball pens. Dear Grampa taught me to use ink pens, and I still have one he gave me over a decade ago (which was given to him by his grampa). Fountain pens forever!
Chalk holders are a thing.
How about this though?
> Made in Japan
I use chalk pens to write straight onto the bottle. They are quick and easy to use, and wash off easily too.
Having been forced to use chalk boards to teach my discussion sections, the Crayola chalk is absolute garbage anyway. It's like trying to spread cold butter over your toast while it shrieks in agony.
I will vouch for these bad boys any day. The Prang chalk is like a stick of stardust and dreams that glides across the board. 7/7 would recommend.
You can still use the chalkboard, but use a liquid chalk pen. They look cleaner than regular chalk and you can do nice designs with them
My kid goes through sidewalk chalk like lightning, even when we catch it before its gets left out in the rain. I've found that either this or this are the best prices.
I think Katita Windup is pretty fun and they come in other designs too like Awika! and Cosmojetz
I got you bro.
