Couple of recommendations based on this comment:
A good laundry basket is essential. I love using a utility tote because it's easier to lug around. They're also completely collapsable.
Rocketbooks combine hand writing notes with digital storage in the cloud. I'm a teacher, and I love mine. I plan to pilot a program using them with students next year.
I'm a big fan of my shower caddy. It dries quickly and holds lots. She'll need shower shoes.
When I went to college, we weren't allowed to have cars on campus. I thought I was all set, but realized about a day after I'd been dropped off that I had no laundry detergent. I'd recommend the pods because she can throw a few in a tupperware and not get her detergent stolen or have to lug around so much. I'd recommend a broom and dust pan, clorox wipes, and other cleaning essentials. In addition to a sheet set, I'd recommend three towels and eight wash cloths depending on her habbits.
This is awesome! My shower had like 3 tiny shelves and the little shower caddy thing ALWAYS FALLS drives me crazy so I recently got this shelf:

Pretty surprising you haven't started yet tbh, I'm already in my 4th week out here!
Nevertheless, absolute must haves for me:
I'm sure there's a lot more but this is just off the top of my head. Hope this helps!
From my girlfriend not me lol
"The corner shelf was originally a steel/aluminum bathroom shelf that I painted white. I actually prefer it because it doesn’t soak up any lingering water or cause mold. I can’t find the exact one I have, but here are amazon links to similar ones.

As for the peperomia hope, I’m not 100% sure if this will help with the curling, but I make sure to give mine a thorough watering when the older leaves closest to the roots are soft and the soil is completely dry. Mine is quite small, it’s in a 3” terra-cotta with really airy soil and gets bright light (currently from a grow light) so I do tend to water more frequently.
I hope this helps!!"
Buy a Shower Locker. Better yet, buy 2 of them - one for you & one for them so it's 'fair'. No need for drama!!
I have two of these and they span my tub. The kids can easily take the toys out and put them away, and when they end up the tub, it’s no big deal because all the water drips out.

My closet has bi-fold doors so I ended getting this to hang amongst my clothes.
some are potted, some are planted in a plastic-lined shower-corner-suction-cup thing kinda like this: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Suction-Shower-Corner-Basket/dp/B073Q66Y5F/ref=sr_1_69?ie=UTF8&qid=1524009978&sr=8-69&keywords=shower+suction+cup+corner+shelf
An adjustable caddy with a generous amount of middle shelf space might work? Not sure what your budget was for this but here’s a potential option:

I assume you go downstairs to use the bathroom, just buy a shower caddy and shove it away somewhere. I just linked something to give you an idea of the product, don't buy this go to Walmart and spend like $10 or less on one lol.
No, don't drill if you don't want any damage. Is there a reason why you didn't get a shower caddy that slips over the shower head https://www.amazon.com/Zenna-Home-7446SS-Expandable-Showerhead/dp/B009GPU3CU/ref=sr_1_5 or a corner unit that mounts floor to ceiling with tension? https://www.amazon.com/ALLZONE-Constant-Tension-Stainless-Rustproof/dp/B07425J51T/ref=sr_1_5 They come cheaper btw.
Yes, silicone glue likely means silicone caulk. You will be able to remove it with a razor blade and caulk remover. The plate you will likely need a

I am trying to build a rack for orchids in my shower. The shower is tile, and I would prefer not to actually have to drill in to the tile at this point. The shower currently has a 22" towel rod that we don't use that I was thinking of hanging something from. Preferably something more attractive than a simple wire basket. I was thinking of hanging it with some sort of chain/carabiner combination. Obviously everything needs to be able to handle the shower, so stainless steel or other rust-free metals is a must.
Any suggestions on items, and how to hang the item in an attractive manner?
I like the look of this thing https://www.amazon.com/Kes-Bathroom-Stainless-RUSTPROOF-BSC205S40A-2/dp/B07285BQGP?th=1, but it would be impractical to hang off a chain I think.
You need to buy a few of these
I just bought this one from Amazon a few weeks ago. Shower Caddy Not the cheapest, but sturdy. I love it so far!

You pour hot water into the back each time so it can’t really fail like regular shower mirrors with some iffy claim to foglessness. A setup like this could be an alternative to an electric heated one.
