I used to looooove soda, and it was getting unhealthy, much similar to your situation. I weaned myself off by going to the zero options of sodas (sprite zero, cherry coke zero, etc) and then i moved to sparking flavored waters like Ice carbonated water .. it gives you the feeling of soda without the negative after effects, [Heres the Sparkling Ice I am Talking About] (http://www.amazon.com/Sparkling-ICE-Variety-Pack-17oz/dp/B00F9VCQ2A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451314737&sr=8-1&keywords=sparkling+ice+water)

LaCroix and Klarbrunn sparkling waters are great alternatives to soda. On a hot day they can even be a gluten-free substitute for a cold beer. :)

Adding lemon lime Mio Sport to a lime fizzy water like Bubly or something tastes pretty darn close to a Sprite. That's how my boyfriend is dealing. :)

u/atvar8 how about some Lacroix I heard it's pretty good

i started doing some research on sparking water. if you don't mind amazon, then this looks like a good deal

or this https://www.amazon.com/EXOTICS-Sparkling-Water-Strawberry-12-ounce/dp/B00VWH5SSO/ref=sr_1_9_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482635289&sr=8-9&keywords=sparkling+water but i fucking hate nestle and wouldn't buy anything they sell.

maybe also this https://www.amazon.com/Poland-Spring-Sparkling-Water-Variety/dp/B00PGXQA78/ref=sr_tnr_p_13_5782442011_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482635289&sr=8-13&keywords=sparkling+water

have to do the math to see which is the best deal. although poland spring is owned by nestle. but whatever. i realized my love for sparkling water might surpass my hate for nestle.

There's a brand of sparkling water that makes a raspberry lime flavor. It's my favorite drink ever. I think Poland Springs is the name?

Edit: Found it on amazon! http://smile.amazon.com/Poland-Spring-Sparkling-Water-Raspberry/dp/B015RQK4XE/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3 That's what you're looking for.

You get it at Costco. It's just Kirkland is the least expensive option that's not gross. It's pretty decent. This stuff tastes like regular diet soda. It's not at all like the zest of lemon/lime stuff that isn't very sweet at all. It comes in a pack of 24 in three flavors. Kiwi strawberry, orange mango, a blackberry. (All of the flavors are good and I am not a blackberry or raspberry fan)

Most grocery stores carry similar stuff. It will be with the health food or with the soda/bottled water. Most of the time, it's a little more expensive.

[Here] (https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-SignatureTM-Sparkling-Variety-24-pack/dp/B00KGX68Z2) is an Amazon link to the product. The price at Costco is $8-10. So, don't buy it there.

And if you feel like not remembering anything the next day you literally can't taste vodka with these things.

$3.29 for a pack of 8 on PrimeNow.

Sparkling Ice +Caffeine Blue Raspberry plus Skyy Vodka is amazing and is my "party drink" at home. If I'm alone, just straight Black Velvet. If I'm out and about with the guys, whiskey and cherry coke. Out with the ladies, margarita.

Still have this God damn migraine. I appreciate that the frequency is reduced, but the intensity went up. I'm not sure it's a fair trade.

La Croix Lime water is some delicious stuff. No sugar, but it's not diet either. A little bitter, and very bubbly. Its great stuff! Here it is on Amazon, however it's probably cheaper at your local grocery store.

And one more Amazon link haha. This one I haven't seen locally. It's crystallized Lemon/Lime. Shelf stable--you just shake out however much you want. 1 teaspoon is equal to 2 tablespoons juice.

This stuff really is quite cool. The taste is nearly identical to real fresh squeezed juice. A teaspoon in my nalgene bottle makes the my tapwater delicious and covers the taste of chlorine.

Hey so I was in a similar situation as you. Basically I realized that soda is horrible for you and you should rarely drink it. Anyway...

An AMAZING alternative, as in, I drink 3-4 of these a day, is La Croix flavored sparkling water:

http://www.amazon.com/LaCroix-Lime-Water-12-Ounce-Cans/dp/B003WEC72A

You know at the grocery store they have all of these "flavored waters"? Yeah, well those all have some sort of sweetener (sugar, aspartame, splenda, etc). La Croix is just sparkling water and real fruit flavoring so there is just a touch of, say, lime.

I found this to be a really good alternative because I always drank soda because it was sweet and sparkling. La Croix tastes sweet and is sparkling, so it's perfect.

Hopefully this helps.

Lemon and Mixed Berry go on sale for $4.99 a 12 pack on Amazon fresh.

La Croix Sparkling Water, Berry Flavor, 12 pk https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002N3NRBQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LrZGxbZ4SZFEH

If you get something else on Amazon and don't mind waiting you can get a Fresh shipping credit for free. They take up 22% of cart so (4) 12 packs for ~$20 delivered to your house.

So many edits for clarity, sorry. And I also just looked at my number and saw today is year 2. Sweet.

Try Berry LaCroix or Strawberry bubly Brand sparkling water or BlackBerry Hint water, all Zero calorie, Zero carb, Berry flavored water.

Congrats on the progress! I’m not a big fan of flavored seltzers, but the grapefruit flavored Spindrift sparkling water was so clutch for me kicking my soda/juice addiction. I now buy them by the case on Amazon, can’t recommend it enough!

They should rebrand this product as the official drink of President Tantrump.

u/sarowen · 1 pointr/AugustBumpers2017

My local grocery store has it, and our Wal-Mart does, too (though Wal-Mart's selection of flavors isn't all that great). The [blackberry cucumber flavor] (https://www.amazon.com/Croix-Pepino-Sparkling-Water-Ounce/dp/B01BHJVZMO/ref=sr_1_6_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1482935136&sr=1-6&keywords=la+croix) is available on Amazon if you get desperate!

u/PJMurphy · 1 pointr/stopdrinking

I haven't seen it in Toronto. What retailer sells it in BC?

Want a real giggle? Amazon Link check out the price....even if you sort "Low to High" it's not long until you're into the $75/case range

I guess the flavored water I drink is closer to soda than water. It's sweetened with sucralose. Here's what I typically drink: https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-SignatureTM-Sparkling-Variety-24-pack/dp/B00KGX68Z2

I've tried flavored waters with light orange/lemon/etc and it's just not for me. I like the sweet stuff because it's my sweet fix for the day.

You might could take that ginger syrup and replace the ginger with a dried fruit? Something that grates easily... maybe blueberries?

u/SportsAnimeGuy · 1 pointr/EatCheapAndHealthy

Can't believe no one has mentioned ICE Sparkling Water yet! Literally got me off soda, it uses artifical sweetener but no calories/sugar.

Super cheap as well, pack of 12 for $9.

Every day I drank a lot of water and always had a cup or a bottle handy. I also drank those zero-calorie sparkling iced waters like this when I needed some carbonation and flavor to mix things up.

u/has_a_3_inch_penis · 1 pointr/loseit

I got off the soda drinking carbonated water. Both versions with slight flavoring and no flavor.

http://www.amazon.com/Croix-Sparkling-Water-Variety-24-12/dp/B00851GRW6

I now primarily drink water and plain brewed tea. Occasionally plain coffee and juice at breakfast. I have been trying to introduce 6 oz of 100% blueberry juice in the mornings but I forget a lot.

Hummus and pita are always good, though ANY dip has the potential for messy disaster in the bag or on the books. Granola or protein bars, veggies, packs of turkey lunch meat and pita, cheeses. If you get a small plastic container it might mitigate some of the squish factor in a full bag. For drinks you might look into powdered mixes in individual serving straws and a quality water bottle. As has been mentioned: if you really need that fizz in your drink you can either get sparkling water like LaCroix or at least in the States here there are fizz tabs that will lightly carbonate and flavor a water bottle.
