I use this behemoth. I believe it's made for scrapbook paper but it's perfect for next to my vanity.

I couldn't find any reference to this being from Ikea, but I did find a couple that look super similar if not the same on amazon.

There's a couple of things off the top of my head, but of course I don't know your budget or her taste. There is a drawer organizer for storage, StitchyBox sends a box of stitching supplies and fun stuff. If she like Heaven and Earth designs they have similar boxes but you have to know her preferences. That's all I can think of at the moment!

We have a mix of what you've described.

Super nice sets are put together and displayed. Think sets that cost $40+

[Everything else] (http://imgur.com/a/DDQlB) has been torn apart and organized into color-coded bins like [this one.] (https://www.amazon.com/ECR4Kids-10-Drawer-Mobile-Organizer-Grey/dp/B01E1HOIDM/ref=sr_1_20_m?s=storageorganization&ie=UTF8&qid=1478547386&sr=1-20&keywords=10+drawer+bin)

For reference sake, that bag is five feet across and sorting those Legos took me seven days.

Honestly I think I'm becoming a makeup collector. I only do my makeup twice a week, but I probably have 20 palettes and just tons and tons and tons of other crap. I keep it all in these drawers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9FFR6P/ref=asc_df_B01N9FFR6P5377969/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B01N9FFR6P&linkCode=df0&hvadid=193136497623&hvpos=1o6&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7865665067453328357&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9019121&hvtargid=pla-308367316922

However I have so much the drawers are sagging and popping off of the metal lol. I subscribe to Boxycharm and Ipsy. I spend probably 10 bucks a month outside of that.

Organizer cart seems to turn up the correct results. I just grabbed an example image from image search so don't know about that specific one.

Edit: Actually have this exact one just with all-white drawers https://www.amazon.com/Giantex-Rolling-Storage-Scrapbook-Organizer/dp/B01N76CTBJ/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_201_lp_t_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=6R348KA29XECB8F9WZGK

You can also use decorative baskets to store stuff in that odd open shelf area. Lazy Susan’s May be helpful in that area too. Utensil holders can be as simple as glass jars. A friend saved left over ones from spaghetti but there’s bell jars too. Metal plant containers or plant containers just make sure they won’t tip over. Otherwise attach them to a lazy Susan. I use vhb double sided tape to keep some things from moving (rp62 was the one I bought And a blow dryer should remove it). There’s always screws the containers to a lazy Susan if not glass. I’ve even seen used cans cleaned And screwed to a board. So think 3 cans on each side of the board. The board is vertical. Screw the cans to the board. Add a cabinet handle to the top of board to pull it out. It was painted. Yes I’ve spent too long on Pinterest lol. You can get creative. Don’t forget to check out dollar tree and dollar stores for storage things.

Oh and if you need to add something rolling something like this is a thought. This is just so you get an idea of the different kinds and sizes. ADEPTUS 76152 6 Drawer Wide Roll Cart, Medium Pine https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K95WDLU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_A4zQDb7RMDVT0

This weekend I had the pleasure of helping out with a local youth ministry / outreach. They recently recieved some generous donations of LEGO and want to build (ha ha!) an organized playtime into their schedule. I was there for the first run of this LEGO time. We didn't have any sort of physical organization handy, so I just dumped out a bunch of bricks on the table and let the kids go to town. It kept 5-7 kids busy for about an hour and a half. This was a well behaved bunch, so I didn't have to worry about bricks running off or kids fighting over not having the correct pieces.

In the future, we'd like to implement some sort of personalized distribution. Each kid would get a tray or box of bricks that could contain their creation for the construction phase. Volunteers can pre-sort each tray and make sure it's got a good assortment ready to go. Ideally, we could even make separate storage units for different age brackets.

One thought we had was a rolling drawer tote like this: https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-3-Drawer-Rolling-Storage-Organizer/dp/B01AX2ENAM/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&dpID=31pmh6A0I7L&dpPl=1&keywords=storage%2Bbins&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&qid=1523214956&ref=plSrch&ref_=mp_s_a_1_18&sr=8-18&th=1 ...but I've used these in the past and worry that it won't be sturdy enough to hold a bunch of LEGO in an active environment. Do any of you have suggestions that might prove helpful? Thanks!

I can't find that exact one but here are some other colors. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYOG5D1/ref=twister_B01MQWRF6Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I use one of those craft storage carts. It fits perfectly in my bathroom closet and has 10 drawers.

They link below is to a multi colored one, but mine is black. It works perfectly for my needs and I can separate by face washes, masks, lips, eyes, nails, hair, etc.

I am in a one-bedroom apartment, and my sewing space is also our dining room! I'm so jealous of people with a dedicated craft room, sigh.

I bought a 2x4 Kallax unit from Ikea and put the wheels on it. Two of the eight compartments have small drawers for holding pins, my rotary cutter, zippers and other notions (currently sorted into labeled ziploc bags), and all the other small bits and bobs. The other compartments have the felty-cardboard bins to hold fabric, patterns (in comic book boards/bags), and the bigger items. I have a nail driven into the right side to hold rulers, and my craft books are lined up across the top, as well as the plastic organizers that hold my thread and embroidery floss. This is an Instagram post that shows it a bit better. Parked next to it I have an organizer cart to hold WIP's. (The link goes to a rainbow one, but mine is black, to match the Kallax unit I chose.)

My most frequently reached for items (scissors, marking pencils/pens, seam ripper) are in a coffee cup on the top of the unit, along with a container for holding waste like snipped threads, trimmed fabric scraps, etc. (It was a mason jar, now it's a pig-shaped container that used to hold lychee jelly snacks.) I also have a little box that usable scraps go in as they get cut.

I love organizing products (The Container Store is basically heaven to me), but really the big thing is having a space for everything -- and remembering to put things back into their place when you're done using them. Unfortunately, there's no magic product or trick to make that last part easier. I often have stuff scattered around when I'm actively sewing, and I have thought about making a little organizer like this one or this one, but haven't gotten around to it. I do my best to put fabric away once I'm done cutting, and sort out trash and usable scraps immediately and dump them in the proper places. I've also gotten in the habit of setting my small scissors and seam ripper on top of my sewing machine while working so I know where they are and I don't have to hunt for them under other things.

I basically let myself make a mess while actively sewing, but make myself tidy up at the end of the day so we can have our dining table back. I'm honestly not sure if I would have that discipline if I could close the door on it at the end of the day, though...

Yeah well I guess the mobile work option depend on the size and weight and how you're transporting it. Maybe buy a cart like this for home:

Original Tubster Extra Large - Shelf Utility Cart- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CCYK2JP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_cEHXCb3BZD1PV

And some how fasten something like these for quick removal, to bring on mobile jobs:

Sterilite 28309002 Black 3 Drawer Cart https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FUAS4VM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6BHXCbN1ZZDGP

Maybe just cut a peice of plywood to size on top? Maybe 2 of those plastic drawer carts bolted together? I dunno just looking for ideas....

This is a nice entry level pro-grade box. Not sure how much shipping will be to UK, but probably still cheaper than buying Snapon.

There's a lot on this site, they are all professional grade. Also consider Homak, or maybe even a nice full drawer service cart that will be usefull for your entire career.

https://www.amazon.com/Sunex-8057-Premium-Drawer-Service/dp/B00D7ALLNK/ref=pd_sbs_469_4/136-6821094-5403867?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00D7ALLNK&pd_rd_r=3583803d-4da0-47a3-8308-8e06c662351a&pd_rd_w=1Vix6&pd_rd_wg=Wt2TW&pf_rd_p=52b7592c-2dc9-4ac6-84d4-4bda6360045e&pf_rd_r=CDSEX43EY8RTAMQM27RP&psc=1&refRID=CDSEX43EY8RTAMQM27RP

I'm a senior master mechanic, and I run a Homak service cart to this day, in addition to my toolbox. Wish I had just started with it and not had to pay twice.

I use this:
