Here is a post I've seen before that had saved. Note: I have quite a bit of this equipment but there are many options out there. Find stuff similar to this.
-----

Here's the beginner sets I usually recommend:

  • Dicks Sporting Goods 300lb Weight Set which is currently at $190. It also includes a bar. I do not recommend dropping these for Deadlifts, though.

  • Fitness Reality Full Cage which is currently for $260.

  • Fitness Gear Bench which is currently about $90.

That'll probably run you about $600 after taxes. But that will be everything you would actually need.

There's several other things I got along the way which I think you would find useful, but not necessary.

    Additional items:

  • Weight Storage Tree which should hold everything from your set.
  • Bar Weight Locks currently $10.
  • Floor Protection
  • Pull Up Bands
  • Back Extension/Sit up Bench

I made my homegym and I absolutely love it! It's my temple. Here's a note though.... you need to think long and hard on if you will use it. I work out 3-5 times a week. I stretch in there every day. Will you use it for 3 times a week minimum? Are you willing to move it when the time comes? Can you spare a 8x10ft area for this equipment?

I was gonna say this Fitness Reality X-Class 1500 lb Light Commercial Utility Weight Bench since it was only $191 yesterday... Maybe it'll pop back down below 200. track the price with camelcamelcamel.

I really need to get the production prototype of my LFE chair finished.

The 'racing cockpit' chairs are ridiculously overpriced for what you get. And any 'racing chair' (and I've owned several) that is decently priced has a lifespan of a few months before it falls apart.

I am working as fast as I can here to produce a good VR LFE chair with the optional add-on cockpit accouterments. I think you guys will be impressed with the feature set once I've got it together and get some butts in it to test.

There is no reason that This Right Here should only cost you 170 dollars and This Right Here should cost 900 dollars. (before any add-ons) It's roughly the same amount of materials and engineering.

I've been fabricating race-sim cockpits as a hobby for years. I promise to deliver far more for far less to the VR/Sim community compared to what is currently available today.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm 6'2 with broad shoulders and have used many benches that were not built well. I wanted a very sturdy flat bench because i prop one side up on a plyo box for incline work as I dont care for the angles of most adjustable benches.

Well.... I wanted to love it, but I simply can't. I'll be selling it on craigslist.

  • Needlessly heavy duty. it's HEAVY duty and has proven to be quite the PITA to maneuverer in my 12x12 basement gym.
  • Leg drive is a problem. I'm not a power lifter so i'm not trying to have a crazy arch with my feet tucked back. It just so happens that where my feet need to be is exactly where the very wide rubber feet are. And even if one side of the bench had a narrower feet, It's just too damn tall for this guy. I think you need to be 6'4+ or have very long legs to get good leg drive on this setup. I have to use blocks.

When I saw this for 123 shipped I jumped on it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S8U7WV4
I can easily maneuver it, it's wide enough to support my retracted scapulars, and the way it's setup I can place my feet where I want them without the base getting in the way. I was going to get this Elite FTS one but the amazon one for 123 shipped seemed like a no brainer. I'll update /r/homegym if this new bench is any good or not.
u/Jami3San · 3 pointsr/homegym

I would just buy a cheaper 2nd bench for your wife to use.

I own the CAP bench and its strong enough for me (185lb) to bench 240lb with no signs of it breaking, so it more than strong enough for your wife.

I use these safety stands at home and I can tell you they saved my weakass more than once. Maybe they might have something similar at your gym?

u/shaneisyourfather · 3 pointsr/homegym

I made a post but I'm sure it will get buried. I just randomly found that Fitness Reality made a flat bench that surprisingly looks decent? Of course, would have to get it in hand to confirm. No reviews yet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HGWNMN5/

My initial set up when I didn't want to spend a huge amount, but wanted the capability to do any major lift was as follows:

Bench and Rack

Barbell and weights

Plate Rack

Mats

Plate compatible dumbbells

I highly recommend buying a few extra plates if you plan to go heavier, I picked up 2 more 45's, 2 25's, 2 10's on top of what that set comes with. I was happy with it until I upgraded the rack and bench as my gym grew.

u/tomkatt · 3 pointsr/Fitness

I've been working out at home since 2013, and have collected most of what I need to workout. The only thing I'm missing is a rack, due to space concerns. Everything I have fits in my closet space. I have the following equipment:

  • Powerblock Travel Bench - legs fold and lock on pins, it slides under my bed or in the closet
  • Ab Roller - any cheap ab roller will do.
  • Folding yoga mat - I pull this out for deadlifting and when ab rolling to give my knees a break from wood flooring and carpet. Again, any mat will do
  • Standard barbell - mine holds... 250 lbs I think? Not a ton, but it works, and deadlift is probably the only lift I can even approach that kind of weight. More would be nice, but for that I'll need to start over with olympic gear.
  • Dumbbells
  • Around 200 lbs of standard plates in 25, 10, 5, and 2.5 lbs increments
  • Foam Roller (18 inch model will do, I have 18" and 36" black), lacrosse balls, and Body Back Buddy - for trigger point therapy.
  • Lifeline Power up Chin-up straps - I don't have any door frames that will support a pull up bar, and live in an apartment so don't want to damage the frames by mounting a permanent bar. These flip over a door and will support pullups, chin-ups, leg lifts, etc, and will work on any three-hinge door.

Granted, you can't get all of these things on your budget, but I'd recommend a pull up bar (or the straps if your doorframe won't support it), some dumbbells (you can buy a 40 lbs set for around $40 in most stores), an 18" foam roller and lacrosse ball, and get some extra plates over time with the excess to get you started (only buy the extra plates when you cap out the 40 lbs, and only if you're going to continue exercising).
u/beowulf_71 · 2 pointsr/homegym

That is the other brand I couldnt think of.. Rep Fitness. I think they have a good barbell as well that is around $200?

Also, I bought this bench for under $300 and it is a tank. I actually bought the additional leg/arm extension to it so it was a bit more, but it does allow me to do curls and leg extensions which I dont what attachment for my rack would have allowed me to do that.

u/Mr_Gilmore_Jr · 2 pointsr/homegym

The olympic bar and weight set was sold separately from that bench. You should know that I think it's a waste of money unless you never plan to squat more than 200#. As far as room goes, it probably took up just a little less space than the cage does. I couldn't fit it inside the cage for instance (this was before I had a simply bench to put inside the cage). The CAP brand Olympic bar is also a cheap piece of equipment as it uses a hex bolt see this site for info on barbells. I am waiting for it to inevitably break before I go and buy a good one. The dead lifting and power cleaning have taken their toll on it. If you still want something like that bench though, they was an online only Marcy bench that was like an upgraded version of that one and it looked like it may actually hold up under long term use. Let me see if I can find it.

Here it is and I would've spent the extra $20 on it if I had known about it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003LQSXSG/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_200_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=S9WXBV1YGD1900TCE3XE

u/PM_me_your_kitty_pix · 2 pointsr/LAlist

I was talking about the dumbbells, but bowflex products are not that good overall IMO.

For benches, the important thing is to check the total weight capacity they have. A lot of benches you’ll see only have 300-600lb total capacity (your weight + dumbbells/etc) and that is very limiting especially if you decide you want to do powerlifting in the future.

I built myself a powerlifting homegym so I have a Repfitness bench which incredibly sturdy at 1000lb capacity rating and $219.

If that is too pricey, I would recommend something like Fitness Reality with an 800lb total capacity at $99 prime. The guy who owns that is a redditor who posts at /r/homegym I recommend going there to ask as well.

u/WontGetPolitical · 2 pointsr/homegym
u/carterbrown · 2 pointsr/homegym

It's a cool idea, but I can't imagine the price being in line with a standard bench.

Why not just some safety stands? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TF66NG/

Under $100 and will be there for you when fluffy can't go get help

u/buzz_lightyear- · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

I think that Rogue fitness has a lot of good quality stuff. You'll need an standard oly barbell, bench, squat rack/power cage, weights, collars for barbell and possibly a platform to deadlift on if you're wanting to do SL and not destroy your floor (not sure how much deadlifting is in SS since I don't do it). However, I will say this about Rogue: it can be quite expensive for someone on a budget. I would LOVE to have all Rogue equipment, but that's not a possibility for me in the near future and possibly not for you either depending on your finances (if you can afford it, def go with Rogue).

Otherwise, look into Craigslist in your area. Lots of people are trying to get rid of weights/racks all the time and usually at a pretty reasonable price. I think that what you should look for is someone who wants to sell between like $.50 and $.75 per lb of weight, obviously cheaper if you can get it! You should look for someone selling a set of probably around 300 lbs of oly plates (2 inch holes on the plates).

If you have the room, I'd suggest getting a power cage because they make lifting without a spotter (example: if your bf isn't home and you want to lift) a lot safer. You can fail your bench/squat and not have to worry about killing yourself, usually. Here is a decent cage for someone on a budget:

If you don't have room for something that tall, try going with this.

As for a bar on a budget, you can get one on Rogue for pretty cheap. I've heard good things about the men's economy bar.

or for something a bit cheaper.

Here is a good brand of collars.

Depending on your floor type, you may want to get some horse stall mats to put your rack on.

Good luck and happy lifting.

Edit: You will also need a bench...if you want to bench press at home. I personally do DB bench press because I feel like it activates the muscles better so I have kind of a cheapo bench. But here is one apparently rated for 500 lbs at an ok price. There are probably better ones out there but in the short term it could work alright.

Also, even if you don't do SL and do SS instead, SL is good at explaining the equipment and giving links to decent quality stuff.

u/MadDuck- · 2 pointsr/homegym

I think it's the same frame as the Cap deluxe utility bench decent entry level bench, but a little tall. Also, the titan one somehow claims a higher capacity.

u/YungBaseGod · 2 pointsr/homegym

Does anyone have this bench from fitness reality?

u/Brendan123746 · 2 pointsr/homegym

^ That described my fears with it pretty well.

On amazon you can find a standlone lat pulldown / row machine plate loaded for around 250.

The T3 looks around 430.

You can find 300 lbs of weights with a beater bar at Dicks for 200.

A cheap curl bar you can get for 30 bucks on amazon.

Landmine attachement for the rack $30

Incline / decline bench
The bench you were getting for 410:
https://www.amazon.com/BodySolid-GFID71-Heavy-Duty-Bench/dp/B000EB7O2M/ref=sr_1_14?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1504630563&sr=1-14&keywords=Body-Solid+bench

However you can find a decent one for 310
https://www.amazon.com/XMark-Incline-Decline-Weight-XM-7604/dp/B0080QZKHE/ref=sr_1_13?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1504630426&sr=1-13&keywords=incline+decline+bench

This puts you at 1250 / 1350 depending on your bench

you are missing 100lbs of weights and lets assume the cheaper bench, so add 100 for the weights at $100,
1350

Add in a better bar:
Rogue B&R for 300 (less aggressive knurl than the ohio power, but still has a center knurl) Do some research on a bunch of bars if you do go this route.

1650

From here maybe go with some adjustable dumbbells.
These are singles, so a pair for $70
https://www.amazon.com/Barbell-Solid-20-Inch-Dumbbell-Handle/dp/B0010YOBB4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504631135&sr=8-1&keywords=olympic+adjustable+dumbbells

You will want decent clips, rogue is suggesting to use these with their dumbbells, so https://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-oso-barbell-collars 50 there.

I think we are at 1770.
From here I would get more 10 and 5 lb plates, since you have the dumbbells you will want more than one pair and that is what the 300lb set gives you. so 3 more pairs of 10s and another pair 5s. That should be around 70lbs, worst case scenario $100.

That puts you at 1870. I probably missed some small stuff (handles and such for the lat pulldown / landmine) that would close the gap to 2k, but if not maybe add the dip bar to your rack (if you like dips)
https://www.titan.fitness/cages-and-racks/t-3-racks/t-3-rack-attachments/titan-t-3-y-dip-bar.html

that would put you at 1940. You are still missing a preacher curl station, but I personally don't feel that is necessary.

Edit missing handles:
https://www.amazon.com/Special-Sales-Yes4All-Tricep-Attachments/dp/B013JL05O2/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504632159&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=lat+pull+down+close+grip+handle

https://www.amazon.com/Yes4All-Combo-Package-Straight-Rotating/dp/B00HHED20C/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1504632233&sr=8-5&keywords=lat+pull+down+handle

I would use the first one for the landmine handles aswell. I personally like that grip a lot more than the landmine specific ones.

Those two combined are $55
Now at 1,992 not including tax. However I don't think your quote included tax either so I think its comparable.

Realizing how far the 2k went, (assuming my math is somewhat decent) This is the route I would go and would suggest. Even if the pull down system in that cage works flawlessly I still think this is a better setup since your getting dumbbells, a better bar, a better rack, I think more weight (although very cheap)

Edit: The only thing I would consider changing is switching out the 300lb iron set for cheap bumpers at $1 / lb. maybe 3 pairs of 45s as bumpers. (270lbs). Then still get the 25s, 4 sets of 10s and 2 sets of 5s, and 2 sets of 2.5s as iron. Rogue Echo looks to be $1.3 / lb. This would bump your weight cost up to 500ish. We were at 300 on weights, so 200 over. If you drop the dip bar, closer to 100 over. This would make your deadlifts quieter and easier on the floor. The only drawback is the width of the plates. You aren't going to be able to put more than, 5ish on the bar. So probably 495lb.

Edit: For the dumbbell handles you need 2 sets of collars, not just 1 like I listed

u/badger035 · 2 pointsr/gaybros

I think my ideal home gym would have a squat rack with a bench, a Roman chair, a heavy bag, and a sledgehammer with a large tire. Gives you a lot of potential for large movements that work entire multiple joint muscle groups. I've tried kettle bells, I just couldn't get into them. Not to say they're bad, just couldn't get into it.

u/Jamieson22 · 2 pointsr/homegym

I have this one, which looks very similar but without the spotter, etc:
https://www.amazon.com/Fitness-Reality-Commercial-Developer-Attachment/dp/B01N23F38A

While bench itself is good quality, it is > 21" high from floor to top of pad. Makes it hard to get feet down where I want them for bench (I am 5'11"). I bought a Titan Fitness flat bench recently as it is only 17" tall.

I use mine with the Fitness Reality 810XLT Power Cage that has been great:
https://www.amazon.com/Fitness-Reality-810XLT-Capacity-Weight/dp/B01NBOVAIJ

u/tj_lightning · 1 pointr/homegym

I would suggest looking for something like this. The bench and the posts are separated so it can also be used for squats. In my area these things go for $50 to $100 all the time on Craigslist. You also may want to consider standard weights, 1” hole instead of 2”. They’re usually cheaper on the secondary market and the bar isn’t as heavy.

u/Skaggzz · 1 pointr/homegym

I love Titan for making these affordable rogue knock offs, I dunno how they get away with it legally though. What's the benefit of these GHD's over something cheap like this? Does the half moon cushion, footplate and adjustability allow for any additional exercises besides Glute Ham Raises or is it mostly just a sturdier better fit? My priority is back extensions so I dunno if an extra $230 over that plain cheapo marcy is worth it.

u/Dr-Dinosaur · 1 pointr/AskMen

I just put mine together, so far I have:
Set of 50lbs. PowerBlock Elites
Ironmaster Adjustable Weight Bench w/ Situp Attachment

I really want to get the Dip and Pullup attachment as well. I live in a semi-cramped apartment on the third floor of a very old apartment building, otherwise I'd have a heavy bag and a jump rope to go with it. I love being able to workout at home, I should have started setting up a home gym years ago. Tough to do when before you find a place that you know you're going to live in for a while. I honestly think the biggest upside of owning a house for me is going to be the epic home gym setup I can have there.

u/shelbon22 · 1 pointr/Fitness

Don't know about planking but I use something called a roman chair and it's really great for working your core.

Best Fitness

This served me well while I worked out at home. Definitely a "you get what you pay for." It's not the best bench, but it does what it needs. No decline on this. I'm 6'1" and 180lb and was probably benching ~130lb at the time. Never had an issue with weight. Folds up nice too. A lot of comments on there mention the bench was too short but I never had an issue with it. Only word of advice would be to make sure you have olympic barbells or at least 7' barbell.

u/AestyX · 1 pointr/Fitness

I personally have a modest bench with an olympic bar and 300lbs of weight (cast iron) that cost me around 400$ a few years back. The bench I use is similar to this one. You can raise the supports and use the olympic bar to do chin ups and pull ups (and it serves as a squat rack), so with a similar set up you could do mostly everything but pulley exercises and leg presses.

If you're open to something different you could try a bodyweight program (/r/bodyweightfitness). I've been doing one for a year or so before moving to weights, with a good diet you can still reach an impressive level of strength and volume.

A little better than the cheapest of the cheap but not much.

Have you tried craigslist?

If you have to go new and ~$300 is your budget you can't do much better than the Superbench:

http://www.amazon.com/Ironmaster-Super-Bench-Adjustable-weight-lifting/dp/B000FMYAOA

It has its shortcomings (it's tall, it's narrow, the seat is a little weird) but at this price point you have to make compromises.

u/impendingdoo · 1 pointr/rawdenim

Not as MUCH a social place as it is a place where you get to atleast see a few other peeps with similar interests. I may have made atleast 5 or so friends but no one I would keep in touch with post-quitting.

I guess there was a lot less maintenance too. Ultimately I never really ventured beyond the squat rack and the bench. If anything I'll miss the rows and rows of dumbbells... and of course the eyecandy.

What do you use at home? I bought this... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003LQSXSG/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

really wanted a proper squat rack though.

u/Alex782 · 1 pointr/gainit

Due to a strict budget I've had to cancel my LA Fitness membership a while ago and I found this bench and a good barbell and weights for a good price. Anyways, I've been doing SS as my program for a while and it seems that everyone is advising against it and I do want to switch up my routine. So I'm wondering if I can do some variation of PPL with only that bench and a pull up bar? I see that PPL requires lots of machines and dumbbells for it's workouts and I just don't have that available right now, so I'm wondering if I can substitute some exercises for others. If not is there any good routines that fit what I have available?

u/theoldthatisstrong · 1 pointr/homegym

You'll likely be able to find a good deal on a used bench as it seems more people are "stopping" weightlifting than starting at times. However, if you want to buy new and have access to Amazon, I've really like this bench I picked up there. And, if you're a Prime member they'll even 2-day ship it for free!

Only downside is the top of the pad is too narrow for proper heavy benching. I typically turn it around and use the wider seat end under my shoulders. That could be a deal breaker to some so I thought it important to mention.

u/enraginangel · 1 pointr/homegym

I have a similar one to that XMark one... https://www.amazon.com/XMark-Incline-Decline-Weight-XM-7604/dp/B0080QZKHE

The difference is that it has an attachment to add a preacher curl station or leg extension. I think the bench is a bit long and the gap between the top and bottom pad is quite large. Other than that, it feels extremely solid.

u/stickerless_cubes · 1 pointr/homegym

I'm restricted to anything that ships amazon prime because i'm in alaska and freight is ridiculous. I think i may end up going with this one, i think i'm actually fine spending the extra 100 to not have to spend more down the line if i do decide i want adjustable

u/fukitok · 1 pointr/homegym

If you can find this without the rack, it's what I use. I actually hate the rack a little bit because it's so light that reracking the weight is almost hazardous because it will slide, so I haven't lifted heavy with it yet (Falling forward with >300 lbs. on my shoulders is not something I'm in a hurry to try).

But as for the bench: My wife is 5'6" and can do leg extensions/curls on it comfortably. My only complaint is that lying leg curls come just short of full ROM. Since it's not a pulley system I assume this is to keep the weight from getting on top of you (as once it passes 90 degrees gravity is actually working with you rather than resisting), but it's something that should be mentioned.

This one looks like what I use, without the rack. Good luck!

See the faq/wiki ... dumbell stopgap

You can get some cheap ( $7 ) adjustable dumbell handles and standard plates at walmart.

You can get a cheap ( $59 delivered ) adjustable bench from amazon.com. It says it does decline, but I find that feature unusable, and only use flat/incline.

portable workout bench that's somewhat decent and folds to a manageable size.

For cardio, just go out for a decent jog or quick paced walk!

one decent pair of adjustable dumbbells that goes up to 52 pounds each. Not really all that heavy, but enough for a moderate workout daily and can still add up to an intense one if you incorporate calisthenics.

You can upgrade for fairly cheap, such as this one for ~300 dollars. Or just a bit more and get an Ironmaster for ~320. (this is the one on my upgrade list, but my current one is 800lbs capacity so I'll probably never break that limit, my current one does incline and flat bench, but no decline, that's the only upgrade factor, so not sure it's worth it yet)

a foldable weight bench? Like https://smile.amazon.com/Best-Fitness-BFOB10-Olympic-Bench/dp/B000XKHHMG and maybe one other piece of furnature that's in it's way for unfolding?

The bench is only 80 pounds but heck if I know what it'd sound like from below. I live in a house so nobody hears me workout.

You can always put a towel there so it's not a big deal. The pad width and thickness don't look so great on these benches. I have this bench (https://www.xmarkfitness.com/strength/xmark-commercial-fid-ab-combo-weight-bench-xm-7628/) and it is very sturdy. I used to have this (https://www.amazon.com/Fitness-Reality-Super-Weight-Bench/dp/B07C4HGSW4) and it is not very good, particularly the pad is thinner and narrower.

I added the wavemaster pro, since that one locks the base and bag so it doesn’t unscrew itself.with the shamrock bar, you can do so many exercises(check out youtube videos for bar exercises)

here are other useful equipment

I prefer a good dumbell set but the powerblock is a good alternative.one can build muscle and get strong with just calisthenics, but if you want to do weight exercises but don’t have to the room for a bunch dumbells, then the powerblock will work just fine.

multi-purpose decline bench - if doing core/ab exercises on the bar is too hard, try doing them on a decline bench.

Reflex ball - good for hand-eye coordination and a gives the shoulders a good workout.

Please help me finding a good bench in EUROPE (I LIVE IN ITALY)

I don't really have a budget, I just want a good quality bench without spending too much (€200-€400 is ok)

I need it for my homegym, I will use it for bench/incline bench. And others exercises for bodybuilding.

I don't need the decline bench (I don't like it..)

On Amazon.IT I found:

- BODY SOLID GFID225 https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B002EEOO9S

- BODY SOLID Gfi21 https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B0013ZCDME

They don't have adjustable seat pad but I can't find a better bench ..

Thanks..

I checked my purchase history, it's this one: Power Block Travel Bench (Silver) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XEAUDK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_P.7PBbEJDEW43

So far it's worked fine for myself and the husband. Granted we're only lifting a hundred extra pounds max on top of our bodyweight, it's been pretty solid for a couple years.

I have dropped a blanket over it & used it as spare seating for guests, too.

I really prefer working out at home to working out in a gym. It's very relaxing to not worry about someone else needing the equipment, germs, music selection, or appearance judgement. Lets you focus on form and breathing.

If you're looking for reviews, it used to be distributed as the Atlas bench and Bells of Steel has a yellow version

What?

I can only speak for the one I have, which is great. But saying that the amazon reviews are brutal seems like a poor generalization considering 10/14 are really good reviews.

Inconsistent? yeah, maybe. Mixed? Yeah, okay. Are there some that are brutal? Yeah. But if you were going to make a generalization about the reviews as a whole, it would make more sense to say that they're good than to say that they're brutal. "Mostly good with a few bad reviews" would be the most accurate probably.

They've clearly shipped some that had issues. But the reviews i've seen on this sub, on Amazon, etc., and my own experience mostly suggest that it's a really solid bench. There is a slight change you may get one that has an issue it seems.

Remember, you are much more likely to hear from people who have an issue than those who do not. Search for that bench on this sub and you will find many positive comments.

Dicks currently has their 300lb weight and barbell set for $220. That means you would be paying $130 for that bench thing. I think you can do better than this buying used. Considering you can buy it new for $180 here

https://www.amazon.com/Marcy-Olympic-Piece-Weight-Bench/dp/B0090OKF52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473880202&sr=8-1&keywords=marcy+pro

I would pass on this setup or at least ask the guy to come down on price. All of this can be had new for $400.

ok thank you, i've been hearing deadlifts from my research... i had my gf sit on my legs and i used the couch to try to do back extensions, and it felt like it was perfectly targeting my weak spot.. how do you think a 60 dollar roman chair would compare to getting a barbell and doing deadlifts?
