I bought one of these years ago, I wouldnt reccomend it. Barely enough room for anything other than the system by itself.

The caps came with this starter kit I bought along with my Switch, but I'm pretty sure you can easily find these separately from AliExpress. They sell them by the boatload there. I like them more than the naked sticks as it adds grip.

The magnetic connectors are pricey but very nice. The lanyard is black and has the lock so the look is right. I pulled hard on the strap and it didn't yank out so strength is at least pretty good. The diameter of the loop isn't near what real Nintendo Wii straps is though. Real Nintendo straps are certainly stronger but hard to find.

despite what you may believe, sharpies can and do rub off. this is only a good idea if you want the bottom of your feet to track sharpie all over your living room carpet.

I dont know what accessories you already have, but IMO this is a great option for a case
It has tons of extra things to go with it, and the products are very effective at protecting my Switch.

I also got this backpack so I dont have to carry actual case around. I absolutely love the backpack, and if youre looking at any of the official nintendo switch packs, I'd definitely recommend this pack first. You can alter the strap on it to wear like a back pack, or as a messenger bag. Perfect amount of space for everything you could want to bring for the Switch and more, without being bulky.

My cat loves to chew on silicone/rubber textured things. He's chewed up one of these, one of these, and the covers off these.

Maybe your cat is the same way. I can imagine mine finding a new cup of something, pawing at it, knocking the glass over, then chewing it up.

They appear to be durable. But I will be testing the straps before using them with my Vive. I don't need the Wiimote covers but I don't mind spending extra to have it fulfilled by amazon for quick shipping and easy returns.

Yeah, there's definitely a little wiggle room for them to sneak around under while in the case if it gets tossed around enough.

I plan on getting the blue one that Best Buy has that holds twelve for storage at some point, hopefully it'll go on sale again. I also ordered this case from Amazon when it was $12.99 about a week ago for taking just a few amiibo on the go. It only holds three, but it looks a little more secure since there's just less room for them to toss around in. I can't tell, but the dividers on that one might be velcro, too.

Really couldn't decide if I wanted the Luigi or Mario one when I bought mine. Went Mario, I think it looks better with the black gamepad, whereas the white goes with Luigi really well.

I can confirm that it sits on the charging stand without any trouble at all.

I'm not sure that cover will fix your issue with the gamepad being slippery, though.
