Luckily, the AV cable can be had for 75 cents, plus shipping.

The Duke was the original and they most certainly did release the Controller S model for tiny bitch hands.

Vividly remember making fun of my friends for buying it because their wee hands couldn't handle the Duke.

There is a point to be made with your first agreement, but it's more of an opinion then a fact.

Halo 2 had widescreen natively so long as you were connected through the HD cables.

Such as these:

Sounds like you have a component connection (the five colours) on your TV.

You'll need an original Xbox component cable. Something like this.

I can recommend the Xbox one S gamepad. No discernible input lag and has full analog triggers and joysticks. The one issue is the back/select button will always bring up the menu with PPSSPP. So I map select to L3(left stick click). You'll need a phone clip with it. I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/WEPIGEEK-Wireless-Controller-Compatible-Bluetooth/dp/B07WKFWJZN/ref=sr_1_9?crid=BFQCQZHJNMX3&keywords=xbox+one+phone+clip&qid=1571455116&sprefix=xbox+one+phon%2Caps%2C151&sr=8-9

What about the Controller S?

u/Shadax · 3 pointsr/gaming

13 bucks, bro (including shipping). You can probably find them even cheaper at other online retailers.

u/Neonridr · 2 pointsr/oculus

It should be fine. The 360 controller should be recognized as a standard gamepad. If they are wireless, then yes you will need to buy a wireless adapter for your PC

something like this should work fine:

https://www.amazon.com/abcGOODefg-Wireless-Game-Gaming-Receiver-Adapter/dp/B00PU06R5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503663033&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=xbox+360+wireless+adapter&psc=1

I can't see the Rift having any problems with it, especially since the two gamepads are extremely similar.

u/msantiago1256 · 2 pointsr/ShadowPC

Hi, Found this thread while doing my own research. Thanks for the falling over heads up. It saved me from buying the same one. I did end up finding this on amazon and it looks like it's brand new (no reviews yet) and was designed with that issue in mind). I'll post back when i get it tomorrow and test it at night.

How cheap are we talking? You can usually find cords fairly cheap on amazon and ebay. For instance: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00005R6YX/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_-akRybABC6M8B

Be on the lookout for 1yr xbox live subscriptions, my roommate got one for only 40 bucks. They also have these bundles, which are a great way to start off too.

u/JoeHova1 · 2 pointsr/xbox360

I don't know if you bought xbox live yet, but there is a pretty great deal of 1 year of xbox live, a chatpad, a headset (the cheapo wired one that comes with new xbox 360s), and $5 of Microsoft bucks for $67 at Amazon. Even if you find the year of xbox live for $40 and the chatpad for $25 (pretty much the cheapest I've ever seen them), you still get the headset and the $5 of Microsoft money (converts to real money now in their store) for only $2 more.

edit: Also, I second what KinoTheMystic said, the chatpad is excellent. Even if you don't type a lot of messages, it's worth it just to enter the 25 character codes for DLC, etc.

u/NerdyTyler · 2 pointsr/CloneHero

Ah, just a regular old 360 adapter - this is the one I use

u/KesMonkey · 2 pointsr/xboxone

> This A/V cable that goes from my xbox to the converter has a yellow, red and white plugs.

That's not a YPbPr cable.

I have the AmazonBasics Play and Charge Kit. Love it, never had an issue and it charges real fast.

u/OrionsSword · 1 pointr/xboxone

Sorry it took so long. This and this cable appear to be the right ones. I am concerned that the manufacturer of this cable has received poor reviews for a similar product, so check carefully and be prepared to have a dud.

u/praxis22 · 1 pointr/skyrimmods

The controller looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Controller-S/dp/B00006409Z
In the archive is the software, xpadder, the config files I use, (for reference) the image you'll need to setup the controller with xpadder, and the driver. As well as two pictures of what my setup looks like.

Also included are links to both the controller, and the connector you'll need, (amazon) or if you want to do it manually, a link on how to splice in the USB connector to the existing cable.

u/Mute_-_Main · 1 pointr/Rainbow6

After looking through amazon, would you think this'll work aswell? I don't have much to drop on an adapter, mnk at the same time. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HR8SGNF/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/fossilfern · 1 pointr/xbox

I think YUV is component cable. Component cable has RED, Blue and Green connections that plug in to your TV along with another Red and a White which is for Audio. So id email him just to make sure its component.

Edit: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01E6W2XKW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469445581&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=xbox+component+cable

There's Xbox component cables.

I have these I noticed the picture is better that stock, but the cable is really stiff and the plug tips are hard to get on or off your tv. I'm afraid that I might damage my tv sometimes when I remove them.

u/lemeure · 1 pointr/originalxbox

personally I would check the wires and try to repair where it broke, or if you are not quite that handy, go with the $8 cable /u/theabolitionist said to use.

I found some others that may or may not work, since they are so cheap, $3 component, and $5 av

u/ASTRO_Vertigo · 1 pointr/AstroGaming

Hey Adrianguwop,

There is a seller on Amazon which still has stock of the AG1 Chat Cable if you wanted to try purchasing one as a replacement - https://www.amazon.com/Astro-Enabling-Talkback-Capabilities-MixAmpTM/dp/B00ZB5JJQK/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=ASTRO+Gaming+3AA99-XOU9X-869+AG1+Adapter+Kit&qid=1556643258&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmr0

The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core. It's the same as the Cloud Stinger (which is $50) except it's for consoles, so you might have to buy an adapter from one 3.5mm Jack to two to use the headset and mic at the same time, but you can get an adapter for like $5.

The PS4 one is $40 and the Xbox one is $35 (there is NO DIFFERENCE except for color)

No, this isn't spam. Not a chance. /s

You do realize this shitty product is a cover that can't be used when the console is on, right? Its a damn blanket over your console.

If you were really worried about dust, get real dust covers for your vents: https://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Dust-Proof-Dirt-Proof-Prevention-Stopper/dp/B01NBHJOTY

And dust your room periodically.

Sorry for not making sense, I made this post when I was way too tired and I'm an idiot.

Yes, I mean COMPONENT cables. I have these cables and they look like they are in great condition. However, I get no signal on my TV when I plug them in. Strangely though my TV recognizes a component source is plugged in, but just doesn't give any picture or sound. The Xbox works perfectly fine with regular AV cables.

I figure either the cables are just broken, or my TV is too new and doesn't accept the lower resolution of the old Xbox.

Also, the monster cables have Green, Blue, Red, Blue, Red ends on them, while my tv has Yellow/Green, Blue, Red, White, Red inputs. Anyone know what that's about?

Easy Amazon buy. That's what I did
Xbox One Talkback Chat Cable for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0721T97CD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I am torn between two choices. I kind of want to replace my headphones both on the go (bus to and from work) and at work itself (desktop, barely any interaction).

A reminder I am not an audiophile, but I still want great quality and comfort. Since I listen to a lot of podcasts and some music, I wanted great mids to hear the vocals and a closed-back design so I can hear what's being said without having to share that with anyone nearby. I'd also like to not have to deal with heat issues, but I understand if that's unavoidable with that style of headphones.

At the moment, I'm using a pair of Panasonic RP-HJE120-PPKs on the bus and on the go and a pair of Monoprice Headphones.

Here are the two headphones I'm split between:

HD 598 Cs - I wanted good, comfortable closed-back headphones that are worth every penny and are a popular choice. I figured I'd go with the most recent iteration of these since both the Purchase Assistant and the recommendations section say that they are a popular choice.

LucidSound LS30s - My brother says they are the greatest, most comfortable headphones he has ever worn. I trust his opinion, but that doesn't necessarily mean he knows the most about headphones. Since they are also apparently good as gaming headsets, I could use them whenever I do decide to go down that route, but I could just as easily wait and get an external microphone.

If anyone could help me make the choice, or have a better option for me that doesn't include these two but fits my needs, I'd really appreciate it. Since I know quality headphones are an investment, I'm willing to spend between $75-200 on a pair, unless someone convinces me enough to spend more or less.

Yeah it did. It came standard with normal Composite cables (Red Yellow, White) and required you to get another cable like this or the official Xbox one
