I have something similar to that setup but the fan wasn't enough to keep 4 7970's cool so I had to step it up a bit. I bought a fan that's used to dry floors and circulate air during home improvement projects. It works pretty slick and it's adjustable, not to mention it moves a boat load of air. I just have it blowing the heat out a window for the most part when it's not raining. Also got some risers of Amazon that work well.

Hey can you recommend any smart PDUs that show wattage? I’m using these now but they only display amps

Tripp Lite Metered PDU, 30A, 30 Outlets (6-C19 & 24-C13), 208/240V, L6-30P, 10 ft. Cord, 0U Vertical Rack-Mount Power (PDUMV30HV) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0012VN0I0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4w5ZBbQZ3NQ0A

Edit: looking at my amp readout, overclocked to 14th/s, my miners are pulling 5 amps. I used that to calculate my watts and on 208v I’m estimating I’m pulling 1040 watts. Huge improvement even overclocked.

Yes. But it is not cheap. $40 at your favorite etailer.
At $80, it might be more cost effective to replace the board.

Correct. I just did this in a 1x slot for an actual card and it worked great. Buy an x-acto knife. I bought this one on amazon and it works great! Took about 2 minutes to cut the back tab off...

I thought I bought a pretty good one. Here it is on Amazon. Which PSU do you suggest if I want to overclock it?

If you're in the US, call an electrician. Tell him/her that you need a 240V (or 220V) 30A circuit installed that terminates into a L6-30R receptacle that you can plug one of these PDUs into:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007YG85A (or similar spec PDU)

Also, buy a few of these 14/3 AWG C14-to-C13 power cables - one for each T9:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085CE9O8

... and use them to connect your T9's PSUs to the PDU. 1 in each bank.

You can run 4 T9s off of the above 30A 240V PDU and circuit, while still observing the 80% rule.

That's it! Good luck.

Assuming you have a 240V outlet in your shed, which should look something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Leviton-5842-I-Receptacle-Commercial-Grounding/dp/B000U3BVMI

You would then just need a 240V cable to power the miner. Something like this:

Thanks!

Issue with the Rasp Pi is it's crap USB support. Only 2 ASICs are shown because I'm bad at drawing :(

The Red Fury's are in the USB 2.0 hub which go to the Rasp Pi. I also had an Ice Fury which I think is what you're seeing which is actually incompatible with the Rasp Pi because of its crap USB support (HIDAPI related). So that was actually just in the box and actually went back to my main Windows Desktop PC. I've since got a better USB hub a lovely 2.0 hub that the Rasp Pi gets on with and added two AntMiner U2s and it works great.

Lots of fun!

I think the blades can run off two plugs if the boards are still operational, but if there is an electrical problem then I'm not sure I'd want to risk burning down the house. You can also look into getting Deox-it and trying to clean the burnt stuff off the connectors. I had a similar situation with the PSU inside a S4 and the Deox-it did the trick.

I'd be very careful though because there is something very wrong with the connections if something like that happened. Check each have plug individually to male sure they are all solid and ensure there is a proper breaker somewhere on the circuit you're using.

I know 208v works fine, but I am skeptical about 150v... in fact I've never heard of 150v. Getting a small transformer, like this one will get the job done: https://www.amazon.com/Simran-AC-500-Converter-Transformer-220V-500-watt/dp/B004MPR43A?th=1

Get a battery backup for your mining rig. Maybe something like this

(504, try four ... last shot, sorry if you don't get this, but at least you will never know)

You can find them cheaper or make your own if you want. You just need to bridge the green to any black on the power supply to turn it on, and that is all this does: break out the green and black to the second power supply to turn it on when the motherboard tells it to.

You can actually get some automotive tap splice connectors and use them to bridge the greens and any one black from each together, but this is a permanent modification so don't do it to your $400 power supply.

Updated: I returned the step-up transformer as I wasn't comfortable with running it 24/7. Here are my ideas. There are several 1600w power supplies that says they can run on 110v. These are idea and I have not proven methods
