The G933's I'm using haven't been too bad - really the 2 biggest gripes I have are that I can't seem to charge them while using them (they restart every 5 minutes if I do this, even if the battery is full...) and that when I first turn on the headset, I have to manually pair them to the receiver. That said, if you're not all that worried about lighting and whatnot, the pair of headphones I had before, Turtle Beach's Stealth 450's were awesome. 15 hour battery life (I often only got about 12 to 14 hours), I could charge and use them at the same time, they still have the Sidetone feature (being able to hear yourself with whatever you're listening to), easy 40 foot wireless range, they sounded pretty great, and were fairly priced considering the average price of wireless headsets. If my G933's were to die in the near future, I'd honestly probably pick up another pair of the Stealth 450's.

I had this issue with an older keyboard and I fixed it easily with the product below.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006UCJ5WQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

hope it helps !

I'm still using my G700. I like the button placement. The only thing I'd change is to put a charger on it like the Microsoft Sidewinder x8 like this version( https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-3HA-00001-SideWinder-X8-Mouse/dp/B001FA1SIM )

i got these and they barelly fit, but they are a millon times more confortable than the garbage earpads the g933 comes with:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BYL5YE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

these are for beyer dynamic. the velvet material is very soft, i can wear my headset for many hours without disconfort now.

these are the ones most people get:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZGGG3KY/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B00ZGGG3KY&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=a54d13fc-b8a1-4ce8-b285-d77489a09cf6&pf_rd_r=4P58ZTFSPJTPE2KC73W5&pd_rd_wg=aPfUn&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=htVp2&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=6c41ccf6-b21c-11e8-96dd-777fa7fb2507

about same price as the beyer's but the materials used are cheaper than the beyers

I have this Turtle Beach wireless headset and it's quite good. I managed to find a Warehouse Deal for $67, fortunately.

Logitech never stated whether there will be a replacement, but it's still in production. It's hard to say if it's worth importing, but at least it's still there for you to grab if you really, really want a backup.

years ago i used one like these for my paper tape calculator;
https://www.amazon.com//dp/B00006HVNI/
then i bought a second one and use them both for a keyboard.
i like they don't take up a lot of space and are cheap.
last i was in MicroCenter they had them for around $5 each.

something else to keep in mind. the level of your keyboard
in relation to your arms and hands - may need to be adjusted.
this is why adjustable height desks and keyboard trays are used.
if you ever formally took a typing class, one of the things they
teach you is that your hands should "float" above home position.

If you dont want any backlight but still like the g413, heres this https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Mechanical-Keyboard-mechanical-Switches/dp/B071VHYZ62 . Its the k840, its a g413 with no backlight, thats the only difference.

Edit:

for the plastic not the wire

cheapest way is probably just an inline volume control, which should do what your old headset did https://www.amazon.com/Koss-155954-VC20-Volume-Control/dp/B00001P4XH

Work: MX518 mouse, K840 keyboard, G240 mouse pad, G513's palm rest (not sold separately, but man I wish), H800 headset (not pictured)

Home: G502 HERO mouse, G910 keyboard, G440 mouse pad, G533 headset, G560 speakers

Yeah, it was hardware issue - plastic was making scratchy noise, i added some plastic cleaner/polish and that annoying noise is gone so far.
