I recommend this one. It's cheaper and you can charge 2 joy cons ,or 1 joy con and 1 pro controller, or 2 pro controllers. Works great, too.

Just got the regular one. My friend has the Zelda one. I know the regular one has these odd indents on the top that look like it gives less room but its exactly the same as the Zelda ones on the inside. I wanted a normal back case cuz its less assuming when caring around the switch logo is small so it doesn't draw to much attention to HEY LOOK AT ME CARING A SWITCH!!!

It will fit 8 games total. The small ones for the 4 micro SD cards are the size of a switch cart I just took them out. No reason to carry 4 SD cards. The plastic game cases sit under the switch in a cut out made for the cases.

What I carry in my case is 4 games. The switch with joycons attached. 2 JoyCon straps and a official Nintendo USB C cable. If you want something to carry everything just replace the extra JoyCons on the grip for the pro controller this one is a nice option and its the same price everywhere. I have look at Walmarts ToysRus and Target they are all $39 for this case and its small the same size as the NES Classic case they made.

I cant stress this enough though. These cases F-ing stink like cigar smoke. I don't know why but they do. I left mine open in a well ventilated area for a few days the and smell went away. That's the only downside of RDS cases.

If you just want to carry games and the Switch I got this one. For the price it is a great deal has a hard plastic shell and a nice foam fitted lining (think like those fancy camera or gun cases). I have dropped the case a bunch and it protects the switch in it perfectly (Once in a shallow puddle. I would not recommend swimming with it though.).

I bought the official power supply from Walmart last week when it was $15.99. So for $43 I have a great second dock/travel dock solution.

What would be the downside of a refurbished Switch, though?

I've kind of gotten in the mindset that officially refurbed items really are not much different than the brand new ones. I bought my Canon T6 refurbed, had the same exact warranty as a brand new one, no issues with it.

I feel like the refurb price is a better deal than the Wal-Mart ad. I don't think the case is a big deal an the $20 credit is mitigated by the lower price. Honestly I kind of like this case better anyways.

I'm still miffed it doesn't come with a game by default, though. Darn consoles these days.

That is Amazon, sort of. It is a European branch of Amazon that handles the logistics of shipping and customs to simplify importing European products to American Amazon shoppers. You can even see here that the filters recognize this as an official Amazon Global Store product.

The "sort of" is because this might result in hiding who the actual seller is. Amazon hasn't said much about Global Store so we don't really know if it is only for items shipped and sold by Amazon on Amazon UK or if it also masks third party sellers.

That said, I'm betting this is sold by Amazon and is actually this £39.99 listing. But after shipping and customs, it isn't really a good deal to import for the US.

Yeah I felt that too when I tried the demo on the switch. I think it is because of the offset analog sticks when compared to the playstation's controller with the analog sticks on the same axis. I've seen a usb dongle that can allow the switch to accept any bluetooth controller so you could play with a ps3 or ps4 controller. These are two I've looked at since the regular joycons keep cramping my hands.

i just bought this adapter. i use my wii u pro controller. so for $25 i got a "switch pro controller"

works well so far, but im sure there will be issues with games that use gryo. (i dont actually own a switch, just borrowing my buddy's until i get one this black friday/xmas )

I went with the pro gaming elite bundle and it's a game changer.

I also bought this ravpower 26800 powerbank which the case was specifically made to fit and it fits like a glove.

It can also fit a spare set of joycons (complete with the bumpers attached), an 8bit sn30pro, this portable dock, and this small charger, complete with all cables required except the hdmi cable.

Full disclosure, that dock and compact charger works with latest switch firmware, but the dock has died once already and was replaced under warranty by the manufacturer. If I were to do it again I'd probably switch to the bionic all in one dock that includes charger, hdmi cable, and everything.

Edit: Bonus: I also attached a pro controller to the unit via this molded controller case attached to the satisfy case via the provided carabiner - or I would if this particular part of my setup wasn’t stolen.

I'm seeing the solid neon red joy-cons for sale @ amazon herefor $79.99, but it also says "ships within 1 to 2 months."

I bought this one since it has USB C and an extra USB A port (which I can use for my phone). 46 Watts on the USB C port too.

I just didn't like how the 60W one has to be plugged into the wall with a cable rather than mounted right on the outlet. But for that sale price it might be worth it to grab one.
