I use these: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86

I think there are audiophiles with stronger opinions than me tho. The only thing I will recommend is to use them with VELOUR ear pads and not pleather. The pleather earpads make the bass super heavy and uneven, I also find the velour is more comfortable

Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/BRAINWAVZ-Velour-Replacement-Memory-Earpads/dp/B078HDVCN2/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=velour+m50+earpads&qid=1550508424&s=musical-instruments&sr=8-5

This is great, I wish games could let us customize every aspect but the core game play aspect. I'd like to have my own music in the game instead of theirs. I know about Pandora or Spotify, or using 2 headphones which didn't work too well for me.

Nice!

One tip I forgot, get some kontrolfreeks for your right joystick, if you don't already have them. These are what I use. They take about 5-10 hours of solid gaming to get used to but once you do both your aim and movement will improve noticeably. They give you a major advantage over anyone who is not using them.

The m50x are really good headphones, you can actually buy either a modmic or a VMODA boom mic they sound really good, you can find reviews on youtube, and use them with your m50x's.

What i did was, i bought the modmic and the ATH-AD500x, which are open back headphones, that gives me a really nice sound stage since there's air going in and out with the sound, the only problem is that they will leak a lot of sound, so if you share your gaming room with someone else they will probably hear everything.

Buy this it’s the best investment I’ve made and wireless headset. Wired ones drain the battery.

Should just buy a old pilots cap. That’s what Jager looks like he is wearing.

youll probably need a standalone mic and pass through an audio input. sdtone mountain 64 does audio changes (for pebble hill and CO roleplay) his website says he uses a Roland VT3 with a Shure SM7B mic. any headset with it built in will have even less of the fine tuning youre after

these kinds of mice work fine, not sure there is a “dire need”

Jesus, people. Use your microphones. If this subreddit had its way the pingwheel would resemble this

$10 Microphone

$6 adaptor

Plus your preferred pair of headphones.

Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AJIF4E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qS1iDbKS5PFSF

Never buy “gaming” anything.

I literally have 0 problems with sound using default windows sonic for headphones.

I’d have to put the blame on your console.
