I use these: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86

I think there are audiophiles with stronger opinions than me tho. The only thing I will recommend is to use them with VELOUR ear pads and not pleather. The pleather earpads make the bass super heavy and uneven, I also find the velour is more comfortable

Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/BRAINWAVZ-Velour-Replacement-Memory-Earpads/dp/B078HDVCN2/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=velour+m50+earpads&qid=1550508424&s=musical-instruments&sr=8-5

I play controller on pc and I've been thinking of making the jump with something like this. Having the thumbstick for movement may help since wasd movement is hard for me to nail down. I will miss shooting with a trigger though. Pulling a trigger wand feeling the rumble is so much more satisfying than clicking a mouse.

This is great, I wish games could let us customize every aspect but the core game play aspect. I'd like to have my own music in the game instead of theirs. I know about Pandora or Spotify, or using 2 headphones which didn't work too well for me.

Buy this it’s the best investment I’ve made and wireless headset. Wired ones drain the battery.

Nah no need to buy something that expensive, unless you really want to.

Some budget, but still effective options:

-AD500x;

-AD700x;

-AKG K240;

-Samson SR850;

-Grado SR80E

Should just buy a old pilots cap. That’s what Jager looks like he is wearing.

I'm on PC. I really only play Diablo 3, Path of Exile, and Apex. Mostly Apex now. In game is there a way to see my FPS? I dunno if I am maxing out on frames, but I would imagine my PC is good enough to get at least 120 -- especially since I set everything to medium/low/off settings in Apex. I have a 60hz benq right now. I think ill get a 144hz benq with freesync.

This is my video card

You may be better off buying a new intel CPU that takes DDR3 and a motherboard.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KPRWAZQ/?tag=hubacct9792-20

this CPU is $65 - you will need to dig up the right size intel motherboard but everything else should transfer over. Newegg has some LGA 1150 mobos for $100 but i'll bet ebay is full of them, maybe even some pulls that come with a processor attached.

the amd cpu is similarly priced, but it's not going to be a major upgrade. neither is an older intel, but it's 2 years newer and should perform faster in gaming.

anything beyond this and you'll need DDR4 RAM too.

Just FYI, turbo is built into other controllers that are licensed like this one

From what I have heard people map their mouse wheel to fire semis on PC, which basically makes it auto.

With regards to Strikepack I think only the turbo is useful (situationally. With turbo enabled you can't line up grenades and weapons like the havoc and devotion spaz out) and the paddles. Watching the video, the anti-recoil just pulls down on your thumbstick for you, which eventually leaves you aiming at their feet if you don't account for the later "opposite recoil". Take into account that different guns have different recoil and you probably have to start pulling up on your thumbstick instead of down when you have this thing enabled.

youll probably need a standalone mic and pass through an audio input. sdtone mountain 64 does audio changes (for pebble hill and CO roleplay) his website says he uses a Roland VT3 with a Shure SM7B mic. any headset with it built in will have even less of the fine tuning youre after

these kinds of mice work fine, not sure there is a “dire need”

u/scrupulousness · 1 pointr/apexlegends

Redragon m901 but I believe the optical sensor is beginning to go bad. Even when not touched the mouse kind of jitters around somewhat and before my own twitches began it was behaving poorly. I've tried cleaning it, and I have a nice mousepad, but no luck.

Or These. But maybe more for Octane cosplay.

Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AJIF4E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qS1iDbKS5PFSF

Never buy “gaming” anything.

I literally have 0 problems with sound using default windows sonic for headphones.

I’d have to put the blame on your console.
