I can't speak for the quality of this case, but if you're looking for one like an OtterBox the one in the following link is good. I personally like the Tudia cases best.

Essential Phone PH-1 Case, Slim Armor Hybrid Cover [Scratch/Dust Proof] Defender Dual Layer Shockproof Protection Case (VGC Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077VSR6FX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_43JIAb503ETT4

Clean the edges clean of old adhesive. I used 2mm adhesive when I replaced my screen and it was a little thicker. 1mm would work just fine. Cut them to smaller pieces and use a tweezer and magnifying glass if you need to but make sure every available edge surface has adhesive. You'll need the edges that will stick to the screen.

Once you have edge lined, remove the top side (of the double sided adhesive). Take your time and press down on edges. Once it's closed, get even heat on it (hairdryer, heat gun). Make sure you don't leave it on one place for too long. Move the heat around the edge for about a minute and a half or hot to touch. Put the phone down on flat surface, lay a cloth on top and put even weight on (stack plenty of books if you have it?). Leave it to cool for about 15 minutes with at least 3 dictionary worth of weight.

A playing card (or a metrocard or similar thin flexible plastic card) works well to cut through the adhesive. Start around the earpiece and go around carefully. Try not to exceed 1mm or so or you can damage the lcd. Screen should then be able to flip out. If you do end up damaging the lcd, it should still likely be usable. A replacement (seemingly non-oem) is around $40 on ebay.

As for the battery, the two strips of adhesive are supposed to pull from the top to release, but I've found them to break apart. Again, using the playing card is good to get it free.

For reassembly, I didn't use anything to affix the battery or screen afterwards since it's held in find with a case. If you're running bare though, light leakage around the edges can be a problem. A lot of people recommend b7000 glue, but I'd imagine some 1mm double sided tape would be better/easier.

This one may work for you. It does add a little bit of bulk but its the one I have on my phone now. The rubber bumpers on the bottom do move back some so you can plug in accessories if they wont plug in with it closed. Also the black color will turn to white along the edges as it gets rubbed up against different surfaces but it does a great job of protecting the phone as the phone itself doesn't have a scratch on it. There is even room if you want to add a screen protector but as this case protects the front including the screen itself I chose not to add one. Here is the link to the case if you wanted to check it out https://www.amazon.com/Miubox-Anti-Scratch-Non-fingerprint-Comfortable-Protective/dp/B078TF2SN9

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07339GBP6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Received them last week. They seem legit. I'm sure just having anything on to protect the screen is better than nothing.

Hey! You have good taste in cars and phones! Haha. You can use these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071G5WSK2?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

FYI - Essential has been putting their accessories on Amazon not sure if this is available where you live. It says out of stock but it doesn't take long for them to restock them. I have heard the Google adapter is pretty reliable also.

I bought this over a month ago. It shows 'charging rapidly' every time. Works great.

This one is very equivalent to an otterbox and adds ample protection. The raised corners really help protection by adding shock absorption. The two pieces of hard plastic clip together nicely and landing face down would dissipate energy from the hard plastic, a bit of absorption by the rubber, and then mostly through the back plastic.

People consider this a good case. I don't have it though so I can't tell you.

If you want good cables, look for cables that are "USB-IF Certified". Usually, Anker cables are my brand of choice, and they're cheap enough. Any of Anker's PowerLine cables are very good cables.

Here's a 2-pack for $10 but you can look around for other lengths, colors, etc on your own:

I think we're going to be out of luck in the tempered glass department due to the curves on the edges. I ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0751MV6LK and this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZBFDM3 - haven't received either yet.

You have to use a USB PowerDelivery charger, as this phone doesn't have QuickCharge technology. I'd recommend these (none are affiliate) cables car charger and I typically use the stock charger brick, but I believe that this one should work, but I haven't used it.

I bought this Belkin one from Amazon which is USB-C compliant and it's 6ft

I use it with a Nexus 5x charger and a Anker 10.000mah battery pack and it charges rapidly in both.

I've been buying this same pair of $25 Anker bluetooth earbuds for the last 4 years. Replaced only due to loss. At this point I have like 4 pairs because I find them after I lose them.

I swear by Skinami skins - 1/5th the cost of Zagg and free warranty replacement everytime - including FREE shipping! At first, I had a glass screen protector on my essential phone but as others have reported - BAD CHOICE! The edges do not stick and you get a nasty outline all around the perimeter of the screen. I ordered my Skinami screen protector on Amazon and it was at my house a couple days later - unfortunately, its not a prime item yet.
