I want to get a 1060 6gb, which of these 3 do you think I should get? I don't really care what it looks like, an am a complete nab when it comes to the differences. Running one 1080 monitor. I want to spend around 260. I currently have x2 EVGA 570s, so it'll be a huge upgrade. Thanks in advance reddit. Feel free to suggest something else, too.

What kind of games are you planning to play? A 1060 will be an improvement over the 750 no matter what, but for CPU intensive games like GTA/Witcher you are going to be pretty severely bottlenecked by that CPU.
Anyway, if you decide to buy one I'd definitely recommend the SC model instead - same price, same dimensions but much better cooling. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KU2CIIY/ref=psdc_284822_t2_B01MF7EQJZ?th=1
I'll leave the PSU recommendations for the US folks.
RTX 2080. The NVIDIA FE version boost hits 1800MHz and looks awesome: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/rtx-2080/
There are some great 3rd party versions too like this:

Hi Guys, I brought a Nvidia GTX 1080 Gaming X 8GB in Sept last year for £520 in the UK, from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GELBO1C/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I see that this is around £650-£700 to buy now at other retailers but it has limited availability.
Just wondering if the price has shot up or are people spending £500 on better cards instead?
How much can I realistically sell this for second hand on Ebay? And should I do that considering new cards from Nvidia are coming out soon? thanks.

good luck with your boyfriends PC.
Ya very nice specs!
I mean you can get this. It’s exactly made for your pc and was what I got. But this will be a horizontal mount. If you want vertical like mine you will have to buy a vertical mount kit (I got a phantom one) and will have to bend your own tubes to fit. I took my pc to Microcenter and had them redo the tubes for me form$150. But I don’t have the time nor desire to learn to bend and buy all the stuff involved for 2 tubes lol.

PSU: Unsure what brand/model, 700W
Operating System & Version: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, clean install
GPU Drivers: 378.57, clean install
Description of Problem: I cannot turn on Instant Replay/record/broadcast using GeForce Experience. Everything seems like I should be able to, but when I click "Turn On", nothing happens. Literally. The box with the options Turn On and Customize goes away and the screen doesn't change. There's no error message or anything of the sort. No response from the system. The same thing occurs with the other three Share features.
Troubleshooting: I've ensured that I am using Windows Aero, have performed clean installs of BOTH NVidia drivers and GeForce Experience multiple times, have used DDU to clean the system of all NVidia registries and still nothing helped.
It should be noted that I have had this issue for awhile now, and have upgraded my GPU (used to be a 760), motherboard, and CPU cooler since first encountering it.
I specifically bought this new GPU so I could use the Share features because I thought my old GPU might've been faulty, and my CPU isn't strong enough to stream using OBS at a high enough fps for me to be comfortable with. Anyone have other suggestions for me to try?

Troubleshooting:
Checked all seating in my computer
Checked to make sure nothing is damaged
Uninstalled all drivers with DDU and reinstalled
Made sure Bios was up to date
Tried all google results fixes I could personally do. Kinda vague, but most were things like disable chrome hardware acceleration and turn off sleep mode.
Any help is appreciated.
Great. and between 2 models I am looking at, any thoughts on which is better?

Freesync can be good. What resolution do you like to play at?
For 1080P, as an example, this one has a 35hz-144hz range:

There aren't a whole lot of 1060's that have two HDMI ports. But this ASUS dual fan model looks like it does.
https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-Dual-Fan-Gaming-Graphics-DUAL-GTX1060-O6G/dp/B01JHQT1SE/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1478907232&sr=1-6&keywords=gtx+1060+6gb
Looks like the extra HDMI was put on that card with VR headset owners in mind. If you want to find a different two-HDMI model (assuming there are more) you might look for that type of model.

Both seem pretty good to me.
The asus strix is 649.00 on Amazon, and 729.00 on b and h and newegg. Been that way since newegg first raised prices. The g1 1080 on bh is 699, and 649.00 on Amazon and newegg. Feel free to check prices on nowinstock page for the 1080. And I have a ftw 1080 and have been monitoring prices and inventory since launch..I'm well aware of the seller status on Amazon and newegg, and I'm well aware that newegg raised prices on the strix and said it was asus, but Amazon keeps getting them in stock for 649.00. I'm not going to waste my time linking it for you. Feel free to use Google and check my facts. I'm sorry your wrong and that upsets you...

> But starting day one, for the 1080 they decided to mostly price their card cheaper than FE
That's not true. Almost all AIB's were more expensive than the FE on day 0, then it fluctuated, now we're seeing them more evenly priced. Hell, the Gigabyte Gaming G1 is still priced at 799 in some stores (10 Euro over FE), even though it's a 759-769 card, just as an example.
>
if you know a good german retailer that is delivering in france, i m all ears ^
Most in my original post ship to France, I'm pretty sure.
https://geizhals.eu/?cat=gra16_512&asd=on&asuch=gtx%201070 for the 1070.
But yeah, don't buy an overpriced card.
> why would they do that for the 1070 and not the 1080 ?
Well as I said they sort of did, another thing to consider, there is less wiggle room in base price to FE for the 1070, versus the 1080. We see a 130 Euro range between the lowest 1080 and the FE, nearly all AIB's being spread between that, whereas currently we only have a 40 Euro range from the lowest 1070 and the FE.
It'll adjust itself soon, I'd hope.
Then again, official Amazon.de has the 1070 Strix listed at 529 too, maybe Asus are just being twats.
https://www.amazon.de/Asus-GeForce-PCI-Express-Grafikkarte-90YV09N0-M0NA00-schwarz/dp/B01GRCYTMY/ref=sr_1_14?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1465824636&sr=1-14
Wasn't looking at launch to be honest. Just recently I've been debating buying one. But they are in stock here. For example Amazon apparently has 13 left in stock.
EDIT: Make that 10. But the point stands thats just amazon. Theres Ebuyer, Scan, Overclockers etc to account for too.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GELBO1C/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
Really?
All of these are 1070, the last one is an FE:
$379 = 337€
337 + 22% = 411
pretty fair...
So I am setting up watercooling almost when I get the card, I am leaning towards the fe, I know it will work. I can overclock it myself and the fe cover will be a cool shelf peice. Here is the case/waterblock I have just want to confirm it will fit.

I'm definitely not going to purchase at that price anyway, just going to keep waiting for something to show up with stock on Amazon with the correct price and try to grab one before others
ZOTAC's FE has stock with correct price in case anyone want one: Here
I'm pretty sure the whole point of Freesync is that it's free in terms of the monitor (and open source, but why not use VESA's name of adaptive sync then?).
Take this AOC 24" 144Hz monitor, for example.
Now look at this one. Same exact monitor but with Freesync. Now, it is on sale, but the regular price is the same as the above monitor.
And here's the same monitor with Gsync.
Nvidia really needs to either make Gsync more competitive or hop on the freesync bandwagon because there is absolutely no reason that the same panel should cost 75% more just because it's got green on it instead of red.
Gigabyte for the coil whine or EVGA for the House Fire. I kid, mostly.
EVGA 1060 SC version is alright.
Do not get the cheapo one (which overheats at 91C under load); avoid their ACX 3.0 cooled versions (SSC and FTW models) for now.
How mini is your ITX case? Do you really need to settle on a single fan option?
Hello,
You need to make your amazon link like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FWI7J7G/
or it will be flagged by automod and not show up.
Thanks
If the price is anything like $450 or more, just get the GTX 1080:

It's slightly cheaper at microcenter at $449 but this is the bundle i bought. If you go with different components than what EKWB recommends you will have to bend your own tubes or buy different water blocks depending on the components you choose

I did notice yesterday I tabbed back into a game and it was chugging really hard, tabbed out and in again and it went away aside from the normal issues. I've thought about doing the same thing but I'm holding off.
If you do though I did a quick check and this looks cheap

This card being more expensive than the FE as stated in the review is not true in every case.
In Spain 1080 FE cards retail for 779euro while the MSI 1080 Gaming X is listed in Amazon.es at 758. Deliveries start at the end of the month.

He ment don't be a scalper that takes all the early cards and puts them up for ridcuolous price.
You can be whatever you want to be but if you really are interested in getting the cards, investing an hour or two of your life in trying to get them isn't a huge tradeoff, and if you really concider buying this card but walking to the store is the biggest obstacle, I'd say you should rather just wait for the AIB cards that will perform better than the FE ones and buy them when theres plenty in stock as it seems you have no problem waiting for it.
I had another idea that occurred to me I did a lot of research last night. It involves this case and I would buy more fans if I needed them. If temps still weren't good I would buy a new motherboard and space the cards 3 slots apart. If that is still not good enough I will buy a new cpu cooler. I would be using two of these. It would be cheaper for my budget and I get a new case. So would this be a viable alternative?
One more question, i am really sorry. Suppose i choose this card: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GAMING-GTX-1060-6G/dp/B01IEKYD5U . Will it fit in this case?: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E0P7JFA
I am really sorry to bother you, i just cant find clear information on this case other than it having 3.5 inch drive bays
No no and no. There are GTX 1060's being sold at $250 already.
Just wait to get one of those. =)
Here's one by EVGA that you can back-order right now, only $250 (you may have to pay taxes on it though).
It comes with a distributor plate, GPU waterblock/backplate, CPU block, fittings, 360mm rad, and pre cut tubing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RN9GVFJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kNWxDbF55NSC6
