I can recommend you iOttie Easy One Touch 2, that I'm using for a few months now.

It's not expensive, mounts easily and sticks to the windshield really good (takes a lot of force to remove it actually), the suction cup is made out of some gel you can wash from dirt if needed.

They say you can mount it equally good on the dashboard (which I haven't tried).
It grips the OPO without a problem (using a standard noname back-case), and the one-touch thing really works: you put it on using one hand, release also using one hand.

I extended the arm so that my OPO mounted rests on the dashboard, and that eliminates the vibrations (which are minimal to start with).

Hope this helps. Cheers.

u/telrod11 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I have it installed too. I think it's way better than nothing. I have edges popping up after 3 weeks, but the company is sending another for me to install.

As far as cases, I really like the poetic case I have with mine. It doesn't hide *all* of the back, and looks pretty good.

Got this one from Amazon and so far it's been pretty good. It comes with an alignment tool which is super helpful, and doesn't have that annoying black border that many 6T protectors seem to have

OMOTON Tempered Glass Screen... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KCTJLF2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u/turdbogls · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I use This one

its a CD slot mount...I haven't used a CD in ages, so I figure I would put the slot to good use.

very secure, the bottom ledge gives me peace of mind. its a 2 handed operation though, which sucks, it also messes with your CD slot..no permanent damage, but I have some "dust flaps" in teh slot that are now folded up and out of the way, so it just looks weird when the mount isn't in there. other than that, it works great, and Love it...they have other options now though that I may look into.

As with any USB-C accessories, be careful of what you buy. If you want dash charging then you can only really get the official one

However if you are looking to just get any USB C cable in order to use other chargers etc then I recommend this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B011995DDO/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1

This cable is marked as safe by Benson Leung of Google. Whilst it will not give you dash charging it is pretty much safe to use with any charger

u/Raider1284 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

i dont think there are any 3rd party dash chargers, as its something oneplus invented. but you could get nice 2+Amp car chargers which should charge the phone well enough.

Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerDrive-iPhone-Galaxy/dp/B00VH84L5E

Or if you have any quick charge compatible devices you could get this one: https://www.amazon.com/Charge-Anker-Charger-PowerDrive-PowerIQ/dp/B01A4ZGLZ8

u/eminem30982 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I don't know how common it is among all car mounts, but both of my mounts have supports that you can reposition. One where you can slide the support from side to side, and one where either/both of the two supports can be turned to become flush with the rest of the cradle.

u/coletrickle88 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Loads of people recommended this to me.
Only got it the other day but it's pretty good so far.

u/BorsodStylo · 2 pointsr/oneplus

That's a relief. thank you.
Oh,if you don't mind, which case would you recommend buying? I watched many vids on YouTube about different cases..
I want one that as you said offers the most protection.

I was checking this one Poetic OnePlus 7 Pro Rugged Case with Kickstand, Full-Body Dual-Layer Shockproof Protective Cover, Built-in-Screen Protector, Revolution Series, for OnePlus 7 Pro (2019 Release), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QXGLDKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QpbYDbB9WWZDQ

Not sure if it's an overkill tho..

u/huntsalone01 · 5 pointsr/oneplus

If you're willing to spend 8 dollars this is the best you can go. I recently bought it to replace the orzly tempered glass screen protector and this is better in every single way.

It feels almost as smooth as glass, and has none of the problems that come with the glass ones (rainbow effect, etc.)

Once again, I highly recommend this, you just can't go wrong with it. The application process is also relatively simple.

u/Yes-its-really-me · 1 pointr/oneplus

I've had Spigen for three years on an iPhone 6, and immediately got one for my OnePlus 6. It's been dropped into concrete and wooden floors by my son, and has survived unscathed.

I'd recommend wholeheartedly.

Edit: Spigen [Rugged Armor] [Black] Case for OnePlus 6, Original Patent Carbon Fiber Design Flexible Slim TPU Smooth Grip Protection Phone Cover for Oneplus 6 Case (2018) - K06CS23358 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B9TC2WV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_b3k4BbSTNM7CJ

u/xlaxplaya · 1 pointr/oneplus

Yes and no. There are flat cables out there, but I wouldn't expect any of them to be the same gauge (thickness) as the one that comes with the OPO. If you want to keep the fast charging capabilities, you'll need to go with a less pretty 24/28 AWG cable, like this one from Amazon.

u/SylarPower · 1 pointr/oneplus

And another thing, the IQ shield you're talking about is this #1 or this #2 ?

So i can be sure that the dimension of the film fills good with the case.

Thank you

u/Allennn · 1 pointr/oneplus

I've used quite a few, usually form amazon, under $20.

I tried finding it but can't seem to locate it, but gizmodo/lifehacker/jalopnik had an article about the best car mounts.

I know this was on that list:
http://www.amazon.com/Mountek-nGroove-Universal-Phones-Devices/dp/B004G1L52Q/ref=sr_1_5?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1409277166&sr=1-5&keywords=car+mount

u/goRockets · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Yep.

But make sure you buy good quality usb cord that has thick gauge wires. I did some testing and I found these three cables to be of sufficient gauge to charge the OPO as fast as the stock cable(~1.8amp).

Link Depot 6ft cable - 22 awg -$7

FriEQ nylon braided cable - $7

Kopi 1m - 20 gauge - $6

u/n3cr0ph4g1st · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I also use a diztronic TPU, but i chose the xtremeguard screen protector over orzly because it has lifetime warranty. I bought a nillkin screen protector before, and the warranty would have come in handy.

Also, I was considering the Nillkin Frosted Case because it's super thin, but I decided to go for more protection.

u/gunsranger · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I have OP3T and I have almost same issue a couple of days back. Bought this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GQWLJRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I am very happy about the purchase !

u/WakingUpJose · 1 pointr/oneplus

These Amazon Fire phone headphones work well and are compatible with OPO.

http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-KA416Y-Premium-Headphones/dp/B00HX0SRXW

The main complaint people have is that they can fall out of your ears easily (for some people). The sound is decent though and better than the silver bullets in my opinion. The cord's design makes them get tangled up much, much less. I think they're worth $18.

u/SlitheringSalamander · 20 pointsr/oneplus

I got this one and it's been great so far. No haloing and it works with the spigen liquid air case.

https://www.amazon.com/OMOTON-Tempered-Protector-Compatible-6T/dp/B07KCTJLF2

u/oscillatingobsession · 1 pointr/oneplus

Cases I'm currently considering:

Hardshell (similar to the OP cases):

u/Tumpster · 1 pointr/oneplus

Bought 2 of these Charge
Cable

Works just as well as the original. VOOC = DASH

u/general_tsos_revenge · 1 pointr/oneplus

The Amazon Fire Headphones are great.
They're wired differently from Apple Earpods and allow you to control volume with most of the Android phones I've tried them on. Also, they magnetically clip together.

u/diab64 · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I have the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B9TC2WV/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for the OnePlus 6 and it's not bulky at all. Offers solid protection and a nice feel without adding much bulk.

u/GenerlAce · 1 pointr/oneplus

I got the official OnePlus tempered glass that fits the entire phone. And it does cut the sides of the screen slightly. Not enough to bother me but may bother some. I also have a Tudia case which I love. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H0EA1W0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DBuAybPNWWXSR

u/tortugaconqueso · 2 pointsr/oneplus

We're on the same boat. Same as you, I have a tempered glass protector on the way.

I used to have this case on my S3 (still going strong. Dropped my phone A LOT and nothing ever happened): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EPW2AE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This was the closest thing I could find for the OPO: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OSS12Z2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Edit: I'm aware this case exists: http://www.amazon.com/JKase-DIABLO-Rugged-Protection-OnePlus/dp/B00P6TT6FU/ref=sr_1_20?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1421614034&sr=1-20&keywords=oneplus+one+case
And I absolutely despise the look. If protection is your top priority, you might want to consider it.

u/syntemnousa · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I don't think so.
Did you look into Spigen's own plastic screen protector? https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-OnePlus-Screen-Protector-Crystal/dp/B01N4S7AY7

In all honesty, I just gave up looking for a glass screen protector because of all the so-so reviews I came across. /u/niijonodhg has done a couple videos on his channel about the various screen protectors for the OP3/T: https://www.youtube.com/user/jonobradley123/videos

u/Ikeelu · 4 pointsr/oneplus

I read something on Oneplus forums with people comparing differen't cables and speeds to see the difference. The only cables that got as fast as a charge rate as the stock cable was This one. I know it isn't red or flat, but it is a fast charging rate. I ordered one myself for when I travel so I don't have to ruin my stock one. I will probably use my Nexus 10 wall adapter with it too. What you want is a 20AWG if you want the same charging speed according to that thread.

edit: heres the link, also longer cables will charge slower

u/TexAgg2012 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Does anyone have the Dayjoy aluminum case? If so, how do you like it and what are the pros and cons of it?

u/Stylitic · 1 pointr/oneplus

I bought these cables from Amazon. They are the highest gauge I could find and they work well.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009Z94PV2

u/asaspadez · 4 pointsr/oneplus

I sound like an Anker rep but my car charger is pretty damn quick too!

u/ZackMorris78 · 3 pointsr/oneplus

If you really like the red color you can go with this one.. It handles charging at 2A.

u/atx_andrew · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I have this:

http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Ultra-TPU-Case-OnePlus/dp/B00OSS12Z2

It's got a little more padding in the corners which I like. I've only had a couple of very small drops onto carpet and it's been fine.

I had a Cruzerlite for my Nexus 4 and it was ok for very small drops, but it got a bit discolored from being in my pocket.

u/Porkerrican · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I posted about this yesterday, I was using a pretty high quality after market cable that I had been using for my note 2 and I noticed that the OPO was not charging as efficiently. I looked around on the net and a lot of people were saying that it has a lot to do with the thickness of the wire that passes the power through. Basically the thicker the wire is, the faster it'll charge since the charger can send more at once.

I found these cables: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009Z94PV2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_SQfmub0J7DM2K

After using for a week I can confirm they do charge much faster. They are 20 gauge. Most standard cables are around 28 gauge.

Poetic OnePlus 7 Pro Rugged Case with Kickstand, Full-Body Dual-Layer Shockproof Protective Cover, Built-in-Screen Protector, Revolution Series, Defender case for OnePlus 7 Pro (2019 Release), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QXGLDKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_w1lnDbE5KT53F

There are also ones with clear backs that are less protective, but I'm clumsy so I chose this one

u/MorgothEatsUrBabies · 13 pointsr/oneplus

You just need to find yourself a 2.1/2.4 amp car charger - like this one from Anker. Then your phone will charge as fast as if it was plugged in a normal electrical outlet.

u/jdgs · 1 pointr/oneplus

I have the Nillkin Frosted Matte Hard Case: http://www.amazon.com/Nillkin-Frosted-Protector-Compatible-OnePlus/dp/B00L2D3NYE

Nice non-slippery texture on the back and smooth on the sides.

u/Toxxicpickles · 1 pointr/oneplus

Sorry I was on the mobile site and didn't think to provide a link. They are simply called the Amazon premium headphones. $19 so not too bad. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HX0SRXW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/jimjamb98 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Oh ok thank you. I had some adapters at home which I was wary of using because they didn't have the correct power ratings I think, but I just ordered this so I'll just wait till that comes. It's an official blackberry product and has a lower Amp rating so do you reckon it will be fine?

u/robert235 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Don't make the mistake I and used a half wrap case, my phone unluckily land on the part of the screen that wasn't protected by the case https://i.vgy.me/jvAB5o.jpg.

If you don't care how rugged you phone look these are good.

Armor x

I have this one.

u/spenc938 · 4 pointsr/oneplus

The Oneplus 6T doesn't have a built in DAC. The Essential Phone also doesn't have a built in DAC.

This adapter works with the Essential Phone. Theoretically, it should work with the 6T as well.

u/Cozmo85 · 3 pointsr/oneplus

This one fits right to the edge of the screen, not the glass and works well. Comes with an alignment tool.

I swear by the Anker usb type c cables now after a run in with my original oneplus charger (melted and burnt part of my casing). They're also been reviewed and tested by a guy at Google I think. Plus they're quite cheap still. Anker USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable (3.3ft) with 56k Ohm Pull-up Resisto... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B011995DDO/ref=cm_sw_r_other_udp_awd_z5k3wb8WZXJYQ

This one or its (seemingly) less protective cousin have caught my eye. I'm definitely all about getting the most protection. I already bought the Tudia, which is what I have on my OP3, but when I was searching for other cases today these caught my eye, though they won't be out until June it seems.

u/Laser_Printer · 2 pointsr/oneplus

This is the one generally recommended here.

Diztronic is the go-to recommendation. TPU is basically like rubber but more resistant to tearing and puncturing.

They also have a beefier "Ultra" version: http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Ultra-TPU-Case-OnePlus/dp/B00OSS12Z2

u/matty8199 · 1 pointr/oneplus

there aren't any good tempered glass ones available yet...that much i know is a consensus. i ordered these, should be here tomorrow:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4S7AY7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i did tweet at oneplus support, they said the one that comes with the phone is currently out of stock but they will update on twitter when it's available again.

u/alose · 1 pointr/oneplus

The Dbrand Grip has been highly rated for other phones, but Dbrand does not have a screen protector for the 7pro.

Poetic Revolution is probably the most protective currently available.

That is for the regular kit. They also have a matte version and kits that have full body coverage for both regular and matte. I have the regular and have not used the matte so what I said above might not apply to that version.

THIS solved all of my problems. Behold the blackberry playbook charger.

Charges the OPO as fast as the original cable and is much longer

u/toyfinderer · 5 pointsr/oneplus

>Show me one dongle that does charging and headphone jack listening at the same time

Well the first one i sent has a 4.7 rating with 56 ratings. the 2nd has 4.7 with 337 ratings so your first statement saying "none of them actually work" is completely false. Your task was to find a dongle that charges and allows headphone jack, which I provided. You did not mention anything about fast charging. Even still, your original comment says you fly a lot and you to use your powerbank and headphone jack at the same time, don't really know why fast charging would be absolutely necessary in this situation but as u/eera5607 stated this allows 3A, most fast chargers only require 2A. Just admit you were wrong, buddy.

u/iHateMyUserName2 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Personally, I'm done with TGSP's on the 3/3T because of all the compatibility issues. Either they're too far over the corners or they don't cover the whole screen. I bought the Orzly V2 and hated it because they only have the adhesive on the top and bottom so you'll get a massive rainbow effect in the middle of the screen and it didn't work with any of my cases except the Spigen Rugged Armor. I went with a IQ Shield screen protector and love it. A couple weeks on and no bubbles, no peeling up, no issues...but since it's plastic, it's not quite the same as a TGSP.
