this laptop is like a high end car, great performance (for a laptop, overall its not the most powerful in terms of processing or graphic power), lots of heat being generated, slim body. but it have a limited life. its like a F1, it runs super fast but isnt the most reliable or resistant to shock. Its pretty much the slimmest gaming laptop you can get with a decent discrete graphic card.
rust run great at 900p, i get 50fps, i never get any stuttering or freeze that so many people are complaning about. There are 2 ssd, one for windows and one for steam games.
i paid it about 1000USD, used, in "like new" condition on amazon. i recommend it, but its a risk. i let Rust run afk a few nights to feed a server population, and the battery overheated. i have 2000h of rust on that laptop, and its still running strong except for the battery.
I agree that people don't want to constantly think about complexity, but I think the point I'm getting at is just as in real life, the world is complex without any of us really having any say in the matter. So you could evolve complex societies and institutions just by laying out the right rules from the start, which would be really easy, i.e. power-law spatial distribution of valuable resources (a single formula dictating how nodes are spawned). The player doesn't even need to "why" the world is the way it is, just like most of us don't in real life. Players would just respond to various things and their actions would feed into the world in a natural way.
Knowing what those "base rules" are would set the stage for increasing or decreasing the economy's complexity. See this book: http://www.amazon.ca/Complexity-Cooperation-Agent-Based-Competition-Collaboration-ebook/dp/B00C5H43XQ/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1453858348&sr=1-5&keywords=agent+based
I think whether the devs consciously know it or not, they're already kind of building these rules into the game. Might be worth exploring in more depth from the lens of Complexity science and agent-based simulations.
I'll go from cheapest to most expensive here:
Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7GM - $199
AKG K702 - $232 (I have the older version of these, the K701s, and they've been going strong for ~8 years. Can't recommend them enough.)
HIFIMAN HE-400I - $249
Sony MDR1A - $298
Monoprice Monolith M1060 - $299
Sennheiser HD 650 - $315.99
AKG K712 - $379
Most of these headphones will really shine with a little headphone amp to give them a bit more power than your computer or phone's audio output can deliver. Something like a FiiO E10k works amazing. Or the FiiO A3 for a portable solution. Or if you want something that looks a bit sexier and is more of a stay on your desk kind of thing, you can go for something like this or this. Either way, any of these headphones will blow your Bose cans away no question - like not even in the same league of sound quality.
I found the engraving service on Amazon: http://amzn.com/B00ES4JP1O
I grabbed the icons off of the Items page of the Rust Wiki: http://rust.wikia.com/wiki/Rust_Wiki
I converted the icons to greyscale then adjusted the contrast until everything was black and white with little to no grey: http://imgur.com/3WzOGIl
If anybody wants to get some other icons made, let me know and I will do my best to quickly turn around the icons!
Edit: Big thanks to /u/Angry_Gnome for introducing me to this game, I wanted to return the favor somehow!
Here you go (took awhile cause I'm on mobile, my apologies)

He's not talking about Tic-Tacs or metal pin "Tacks" LOL
Yeah I guess you could always tape it but wouldn't that ruin your monitor? But then this thing exists
It's funny that you say that, because I have one of these, although I haven't used it for Rust yet.
It's the 1060. It's excellent for 1080p/60fps for "AAA" games (by that I really just mean games with demanding graphics) and 1080p/144fps for less demanding games (Overwatch, CSGO, etc.).
For reference, this is what I picked to pair with mine.
Now again, the monitor you picked can absolutely make sense if you don't plan on waiting too long before upgrading your GPU. Because until then, you just won't be able to make the most out of that monitor with just a 1060 (unless you spend most of your time playing CSGO really seriously. That'd be a case where it would make sense as well).
So I've just ordered some more RAM, its the Hyper X 1600MHZ, could you let me know if this is single channel and if it is, what are the disadvantages and fixes I can do?

I don't think you have to worry too much about damage, just get msi afterburner or something and setup a good auto fan. If it starts to get too hot get one of those fans you can set it on I had one for my laptop before I got a pc. I just looked it up and found the exact one http://www.amazon.com/Laptop-Notebook-Cool-Pad-Fans/dp/B001B077PO you may want one without the led.
Ohh sorry, that was AUD, my bad. It's only 40-45 ish USD.

Agree to a point. The script is software, but many gaming mouses have the ability to store scripts on the on-board memory and execute them on a button press without the mouse software running at all (ex, can use them on a different computer all together).
Ex:
Be angry. I have a Bloody Mouse, you can record scripts, upload them to the on-board mouse and then close the software. I can even disconnect the mouse, take it to a completely different computer and use the scripts. You activate / inactivate them by pressing a button on the mouse.
It is 100% stored in the mouse's on-board memory. Its a standard gaming mouse function now. All logictech mice have it to.
