It's the OWI Robotic Arm kit and while it is a little pricey for a "toy" everything goes together nicely and it's easy to hack.

I'd recommend that if you do get it that you also get a good Exacto™ type knife or utility knife and get good at using it. There are always little nubs of plastic left when you pull the pieces off of the panels them come in.

No, this is a gag gift.

I researched all the automated cleaning litter boxes but never bit the bullet. They all had complaints about them breaking down. I ended up spending a fraction of what they typically cost on one I roll myself like this and I have no regrets.
