I think there is a kit compatible with just about any case that positions the gpu far enough back from the side panel that air flow should be good, I think cable mod makes it.
Edit:
Found it, you just need to make sure your case has 7 pci-e brackets, and you would lose the ability to plug in anything else, obviously. Also, the gpu can only use TWO brackets, so any three slot cards will not work.

Depends on how they have the PCIE covers mounted to the case. No matter what it will not require any drilling. It may require snipping some crossbars for the covers. But most ATX cases have no crossbars anyway. So simply remove them all and just install the gpu holder. Takes just a couple of minutes.
Edit : Who tf is down voting me. Here is a Cable mod kit, which is just the same as the CoolerMaster kit https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-Vertical-PCI-Bracket-DisplayPort/dp/B07D7NM2P6/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=2VW20CX4JPMZC&keywords=coolermaster+vertical+gpu+kit&qid=1556047270&s=gateway&sprefix=coolermaster+vertical&sr=8-2
Edit 2: the kit I linked literally has it shown in a NZXT case just like you're trying to do
Yup, this one from CableMod:

Your card is a 2.5 slot card. I had a conversation with NXZT regarding this.

>it is not possible to use 2.5 slot card for vertical mounting. The glass will be right up against the GPU which is bad for cooling or even not let you put the glass on at all with a GPU that is too big.

>A: It does not fit. It has to be exactly 2 slots thick. I tried with a different graphic card that's just slightly bigger than 2 slots and it doesn't fit.By Tyler Frieda on April 1, 2019

With this in mind you would have to buy a complete vertical gpu kit such as the one from Cable Mod or cheaper alternatives from Cooler Master or Phantek.

For installation i am sure you can find a few YouTube videos
You could look into a vertical mounting kit, maybe.
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-Vertical-PCI-Bracket-DisplayPort/dp/B07D7NM2P6
Those older dell systems don't have much room inside is the only thing, so it might take a little modification and ingenuity to get working..
I think you may be able to reach with the rad lines down up front if you mount it vertically still using something like this. That will definitely give you more reach, you could test it by holding the GPU in the vertical position.
With this
> You need a DP cable?
Some custom vertical GPU mounts leave the GPU inside the case and difficult to plug cables in.
What he's talking about is sort of an adapter or extension.
Example: https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-Vertical-PCI-Bracket-DisplayPort/dp/B07D7NM2P6
That's an HDMI angled adapter, and an angled DP cable.

You don’t need a vertical slot to begin with, just 7 free PCI-e slots on your case.
