The Razer Blade Stealth is honestly pretty overpriced for what you get. You can get something much more capable for ~$700-$800 that could gladly play whatever games you want it to, and shouldn't have terrible battery life either when not gaming.
Also, keep in mind you could gladly fit a modest mid-range build that can walk all over most gaming laptops into an HTPC case for $800-$1000 and still have money leftover for a beefy work laptop if you can afford $1500 for the Razer Blade Stealth.
In my opinion, if you have been using high-end PC specs (i7, GTX 870), you won't feel comfortable with using low performance processors of ultraportable laptops. The more sluggish feel of the laptop compared to your PC can be more or less annoying.
So I'd suggest getting a (slightly) bigger laptop because the difference in performance outweights the difference in weight (unless you plan to buy feather-light laptops like HP Spectre or LG Gram).
Check out this Dell Inspiron 7567 . It is a bit heavier, but has a sturdy chassis with a huge battery and a discrete GTX 1050, so you can play most game at medium or even high settings. Oh and it has backlit keyboard (red only, though).
I have this Laptop and it's pretty damn good for the price range, the i7 is good and so is the GPU.
Since gaming is for main focus the Acer Aspire VX 15 from amazon is a good choise, IPS screen for a wide viewing angle and a GTX 1050Ti graphics card , my only issue with is is the small storage space so the

Yes storage is low but it's SSD which is far more faster than older mechanical HDD. Other specs like CPU, RAM and GPU are best for the price.
There's also empty space to put in extra hard drive or an SSD inside which will cost you about $25 - $30 extra. Process is hassle free you'll find lot of YouTube videos to do that on your own or you can just take it to Acer service and they will be happy to do that for you.

It's mainly because of size. Typically you only see the full size keyboard on 15-17" laptops, because any smaller and you would have to make the keys extra small which may make them difficult to use.

I have one like this and it's great! Runs everything I've thrown at it... at ultra! Even Arma 3, which is very demanding. Especially on CPU. Also as of now buying a prebuilt may be cheaper.
Ryzens are highly praised for being good, but there are some to avoid. As I'm not a AMD fan, I don't know which ones to get other than a Ryzen 5 is best if your gaming and a Ryzen 7 if you also make videos.
As for a GPU the GTX 1050 ti is fine for 1080p gaming, especially for ESports titles like CS:GO and Overwatch.
For RAM you'll want 8GB minimum. Also an SSD is typically much better than a HDD or a Hybrid Drive.

Maybe this Dell Inspiron, but I do think the Acer Aspire is a better machine, although the red is a bit much. Even this one has red highlights.
For $800 you can have a Dell Inspiron 7000 series. The battery lasts as long as you requested in real life performance, SSD + HD, 5.5-6 pounds, 15" screen. Comes with a GTX 1050 and can play most titles at a reasonable quality setting. Modelling software will operate reasonably as well. Minecraft will be fine. The build quality is pretty good in my opinion - there is sufficient ventilation and the repairability / expansion options are simple (one screw to open the bottom of the laptop). As to lasting for four years.. that depends entirely on you!
The only con I've noticed so far is the viewing angle for the screen is narrowly limited, it's one of those not so good TN (?) panels mentioned in the sidebar. Try it out in a Best Buy or computer store and see if it bugs you.

The Inspiron line could be okay then. You can get one with a SSD in 128GB and a regular HDD in 1TB at 5400rpm, with 8GB of RAM and an i7 7700HQ last I saw for around $790 on Amazon.
Bonus, it includes a 4GB GTX 1050ti, so the graphics shouldn't suffer much for videos or Fortnite.

Buy a laptop with the gtx-10 series cards, the performance is too good to ignore and if you're spending $1000 you don't want to get something that falls apart in a year. Go for something like this that will at hopefully be good specs for the money. Do not buy the laptop you linked above.

Based on your game selection , a heavy duty gaming laptop is not for you , I would say. You may get angry at me but let me first justify .
I checked the games you have mentioned and mostly they don't require a high-end graphics card or processor to play , like the requirement for Hollow Knight is GTX9800 .
Also since you mentioned that you are going to be deployed soon , buying a mediocre laptop should suffice for now , cause once you return you can buy a better gaming laptop to play with .

The first Asus and the HP are both gaming laptops so they're slightly bigger and the battery lasts less long. The ones with the MX150 are generally smaller and should last longer.

For graphic design you will need a powerful processor preferably an i7 quad core, above 8 GB RAM (16 GB is nice), a solid graphics card and of course, good storage is always important. It is also paramount that if you will be doing this intensively, then you get a laptop with a decent heat management system that will ensure that heat doesn't affect the performance of your laptop while completing important projects.
