Take a look at this wiring diagram. The only difference between this diagram and the maker select is that there is only 1 extruder and there are 2 separately wired z stepper motors. Both Z motors go here. One row for the first motor. The 2nd row for the 2nd motor. There should be stepper drivers in all the slots except the E1 slot. Your extruder should be on E0. The connectors you will want are Dupont connectors. Something like this kit will work. While you don't need this tool, it makes re-crimping the connectors a whole lot easier. You don't want each z motor on a separate driver as it will cause them to be out of sync. A multimeter is required to calibrate the vref on the stepper drivers. You can usually get one for less than $10. It requires doing some math and then checking the voltage on the stepper drive. Then you adjust the pot till the vref matches what you calculated. The motors will work at a higher or lower voltage, but it will not be efficient. A lower voltage will cause them to have low torque and a high voltage will cause them to produce excess heat(bad), noise, and torque.

Crimping connectors isn't that hard... And SOOO worth the effort.

And I had to replace most of the connectors to something that works with the ramps board.

There are kits to crimp your own all over amazon. I use this when i need to, but i'd recommend not using those plugs and just soldering.

I just bought this on Amazon Pin Header Kit looks like a nice kit, I get it tomorrow, if you give me day and can confirm the quality for you...


Edit: You'll need a crimping tool as well...you can as nice as you want, but THIS should work fine.

At the minimum to replace the board, I'd say replace the board with a RAMPS, so either 35$ https://www.amazon.com/OSOYOO-Printer-Controller-Stepper-Heatsink/dp/B0111ZSS2O/ or 30$ if you skip the LCD https://www.amazon.com/Wangdd22-Printer-Controller-Mega2560-Compatible/dp/B01G6ON5H8/ (The maker select LCD doesn't work directly with the RAMPS without some modification)

Then you'll need a dupont crimping tool and some housing to redo some wires. For another 30$. You might be able to get away with using some pliers instead of a crimping tool.

Honestly I'd try seeing if you can get a replacement from wherever you bought it from first.

Honestly, it doesn't take much longer to desolder them.

If you're dead set against soldering, and I'll point out that I've had to replace 1 ESC in the last 2 years, get some pin headers. That's how people did signal wires back before direct soldering was the norm. You can bend the through-hole ends before you spider them to make it easier to fit, and you'll probably have to. The bullet connectors, on the other hand, are for your power wiring. Remember to heat shrink the outside of the connector one it's plugged in to help hold it together and prevent shorts.
