It's recent, but I really like my dual monitor arm mount. It gives me a little more room on my desk, and I can move my keyboard under my main monitor if I need the space directly in front of me for something.

Not OP, but looks like the one I bought last year. It's kind of always been "on sale" but it's a cheaper alternative to the Ergotech or Amazon Basics arms. The other benefit of this is the ability to stack the monitors vertically or horizontally depending on your preference. It's fairly modular; you can put the arms on the pole at different heights to stack them, or you can use the splitter as seen in the OP. Both arms also have 2 parts, so you can extend the monitors fairly decently in almost any direction. Some parts might seem a little cheap compared to the other high end mounts but for the price I can't complain. One of the arms split a little bit on the plastic exterior because I tightened the lock screw too much and tried to move it, mostly a cosmetic issue as far as I can tell.

I love it! It gives me the ability to vertically stack the monitors, or make one of the monitors vertical if I wanted.

I use this dual monitor mount on my standing desk. I can raise and lower each monitor to the correct height easily with one finger. A very affordable must-have for a standing desk!

I'll post a pic at full size lifted. I wanted a technical workstation and a office workstation. With this is can lift the whole setup up and out of the way when I need to get down and dirty the light is a halo magnifier.

If you loosen everything up so it can move freely, it's pretty good. I ended up just sticking with 1 horizontal and 1 vertical. It's been working out nicely.

I really have no complaints. It holds up both 27" monitors, easy to adjust when I stand and has decent cable management built in.

Are you in the US? A note from your doctor saying you need a standing desk provided to y ok ur boss nor HR the company will provide you with one.

I had one for my 34 inch and my 27inch but didn't like how close the monitors were to me because of my desk being against the wall, so I went with wall mounting the monitors instead, but here's a link to the I had before

I just loved the way you have one monitor in portrait, and the main monitor in landscape. I think I could make far better use of my dual monitors that way!

I do have monitors that can be rotated into portrait already. But with the floating arms I could position them optimally, and do a sitting/standing setup!

As you said, I may want to spend more than $72 to properly address the standing desk mode.

I only pay the money for 1 144hz monitor. If the other 2 are for web browsing, YouTube, music, etc. I would get a 60hz-75hz. the monitor mount I have, is very sturdy and I have no issues with it. The only other thing I would recommend it make sure you want them side by side or over and under.

I wanted the vertical, this stand can support side by side either way Bc it comes with extension pieces. I haven’t seen anyone do over under with it and I haven’t tried. Hope this helps man!

Looks like he’s using a dual arm gas spring mount. There’s a link in the thread to an Amazon.ca arm, but i couldn’t find the same one on the US Amazon. I did find this one which looks identical:

I was hesitant to get it but it's done awesome so far and I move my none l monitors around almost every night. Pistons are working really good and strong enough to comfortably hold my monitor at full extend. Downside is it puts a lot of torque where it clamps to your desk which may possibly cause your desk to warp depending on material. You could disperse it with some extra material. Hasn't bothered me enough though.
