I wall mounted my LG 49WL95, the biggest problem was finding one that had full motion and not stick out above and below the monitor. The monitor is only 14.5" tall, I needed a VISA mount 100x100, ended up getting one that I could cut the tabs on top and bottom. Wasn't too bad on cost and the weight limit was way over the 30lbs of the monitor.

Works rather well as I can push it back against the wall to have my desk back for other work.

Mounting Dream brand, available on Amazon. They are amazingly well built and they include so many things to make installation super easy.

Just put my third one up yesterday, can't see any reason to ever buy a different brand.

Best is to mount your TV where the screws can sink into a stud in the wall. Studs are usually every 16" in a wall. If stud location doesn't work, and you want to mount in between two studs, then use a mounting board. I'd use a 3/4" piece of plywood or 1x4" boards, screwed to the studs.

It will be closer to the wall than it is right now on your stand. Just look up the specs of the mount you're interested in. For example, that mount states it can go from 3" to 15" away from the wall.

Again though, my opinion is that you don't need to mount your TV until you get a center speaker. It looks good, but it's more work (mounting, cable management, in wall), and you need to make sure it fits properly with a center speaker, so I wouldn't rush it.

Get a full motion mount. It mounts to that back wall where your plates are cut, and you can extended it forward to make it flush to the outside trim, or you could push it all the wall to the back.

Here is a link to the first one I searched for on amazon. It extends 16 inches forward. I don't know how deep your hole is.

Thanks. It would be a full motion mount which can extend to 15.8 inches. I think the issue is that the main stud is right in the center of the wall where I would be centering the TV so I don't think an extender would work to connect to 2 studs.

This is the mount I am planning to get:

snaptoggle

I would put 2x bolts into the center of the middle stud and then add the 4 snaptoggles to the 4 corners.

yeah, the space is a little tight. I usually find furniture/spaces have to be multifunction in tighter spaces. Desks = desks + TV media storage.
TV = second screen for either of the desktops + a TV

Good thing is that your desks are only 2ft deep though.

Maybe one of these alternative chairs or stoools for seating.

or one of these TV wall mounts that allows movement forward, so you can just bring the TV out when seated in the couch.

This is a good start. You can probably find one for whatever size TV you want there.

Side note, holy balls this stand is gigantic! I need a wall mount stat! Any recommendations? I was eyeballing this one since it seems like it'd still have pretty good adjustments.

as stated earlier impact drill will be needed or a ratchet wrench and a lot of elbow grease (after you drill a smaller pilot hole)

I don't know what TV that is so you might have to double check VESA compatibility. You'll need a stud finder if you don't have one.

If you use your tv both for gaming and watching movies from the bed, you could use one of those swivel mounts.
