For less than half the price I am extremely happy with the Plano Gun Guard All Weather case. It's out of stock on amazon but they get them in regularly.
Pluckable foam, great protection against rain and mud, doesn't bend and warp like cheaper plastic cases.
I use Pelican cases at work to store camera equipment and while the Plano isn't as durable as Pelican it's 90% as good for a fraction of the cost. I own other plano gun cases that were $10-20 that suck - but this one is great.

The case I'm looking at is 125$.. still less than the SKS ha ha ha.
But it's because my case will be my storage. I want it to be somewhat secure. I will be using locks on the gun itself inside to.
Wanted a bit more protection for my M4 with the replica EOTech mounted on it so I decided to grab a nice Plano case off of Amazon. The pluck foam comes out easy and I took it out in large chunks in the event I need to fill gaps. The case itself it built like a tank and feels like it can take a good beating. I was surprised how much I could stuff into it considering it's the 36 inch case! I got the 36in version though it is a very tight fit.
This is a perfect fit. Very snug. Very protective.
