Here are some of the chargers that are known to perform "GOOD" or "BEST" with the Switch.

Nintendo Switch AC Adapter|$29.99|Amazon US|This is the only charger you should use with the dock but it's big and doesn't work great with any phones

Cables

I won't list prices here since they fluctuate a lot. Some of the chargers listed above have a non-removable cable. All the others (except the iPad charger) require a USB C-to-C cable.

USB C-to-C: For the Macbook, Google, SONEic, and battery pack chargers listed above. Here are a few on Amazon: AmazonBasics,
Anker, Cable Matters, Aukey.

USB A-to-C: The iPad charger is the only one that gives good charging speeds with these. The 5ft cable included with the Pro Controller works. Here are some others on Amazon: AmazonBasics, Anker, Cable Matters, Aukey.

No matter which charger you use, it doesn't matter whether the cable says it's USB 2.0, USB 3.0, or USB 3.1. They all charge at the same speed. Just make sure it has the correct plug shape on each end, that it has good reviews at a reputable merchant, and that it's long enough for how you want to use it.

This battery is compatible i test it on the Stock 6.0 and too many anothers custom roms like Lineage, Tesla, Ressurection Remix and works pertecfly. Plus, the battery come with two cables, one USB-C adapter and a wall charger with Quick Charge 3.0 and i get the "TurboCharging" advice too.

Sorry for my english.

It'll be slow.
I've got this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IVMXW7G

I charge over usb-c but the C302CA doesn't support QC3.0 so it's probably just charging at 5A/2V = 10W. The original charger charges the laptop at 45W.

I don't think a battery pack that can charge at that rate exists yet.

u/pleasehelpmypony · 2 pointsr/Moto_Z

My ravpower bank activates the turbocharge notification when I use usb-c to usb-c. I have not tested the charging time but it appears to be as quick as wall charging for me.

I just ordered this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IVMXW7G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), haven't received it yet. There was a "flash sale" where it was about 20% less than the current price so it seemed too good to pass up. They sell the same thing without the charger for ~$10 less, but you're going to want a quick charger. I haven't seen many (any?) other batteries at that capacity with qc3 input, but there are a few 10k ones on Amazon.

As for the N6... it's water resistant (the internal components have "nano coating", whatever that means) and I'm not planning to use it directly over bodies of water. Other than that I'm just going to be careful and probably put it in a ziplock bag if the weather gets crazy. I'm more concerned about dropping it on a rock, and there's not much that can be done about that short of using a tether.

u/GorillaX · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS8

I got a Nintendo Switch a few weeks ago and I just realized that if I buy a high capacity portable charger, I can use it for that and my new S8+. I'm stoked about it, picked up this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IVMXW7G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Yav9ybW2EK40M

So the only real difference in power banks is Size and USB type.

USB type A packs can be really large for cheap. I have this one and it can play zelda for 10 hours straight, but takes ~14 hours to recharge.

USB type C packs are about double the price, but can charge the switch slightly faster while playing, much faster when its off. and recharge much faster as well.

u/judascleric · 2 pointsr/synthesizers

> Do you use the things that differentiate the 2x from the regular NC2 or do you just use e.g. Galileo for organs and could just as well have the cheaper NC2?

I do tweak the sliders for synth filter and envelopes, organ stops, and MIDI control. I certainly wouldn’t be twiddling the iPhone for changing dynamics mid-song, but I guess a $200 markup is a lot if a program change can get you by. I think the synths and organs on the NC2 are samples instead of emulations so they wouldn't be aa tweakable.

> What's your setup? Does it use QuickCharge or USB PD to get more power or do you manage with just a regular powerbank?

I ordered one of these when there was a deal for around $50.

[Qualcomm Certified Quick Charge 3.0] RAVPower 20100mAh Portable Charger + QC3.0 USB Charger (USB-C / Type-C Port, QC 3.0 Input & Output) for Phones, Tablets and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IVMXW7G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Ym8YxbBVTD525

Can be charged with qc3 as well. So good.

u/james92627 · 1 pointr/OculusGo

I got one of these and it works fine. I put the controller under the mesh pouch and velcro it down so it won't get inside the face and touch the lenses, although the straps also act as a barrier. It also has room for a RavPower portable charger. I got this one.

u/DrewSC · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Is this a good charger for the switch? Also does it come with the needed cable to charge the switch?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01IVMXW7G/ref=dp_ob_neva_mobile

Confused by the whole USB c thing.

Just tried my Google Pixel 18W charger and my RAVPower 20100mAh Portable Charger and they both still work just fine on my Switch with the latest update

u/bmf666 · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote9

I researched a lot of the anker models and surprisingly no, they do not all support quick charge 2.0/3.0. So make sure to verify if you choose one of their models. I ended up going with a Ravpower unit that has QC 3.0 support (which is backwards 2.0 compatible) and supports fast charging of the battery itself (a feature not all battery packs have, and to me a nice to have). It's a 20100 mAh unit, and it's massive, like the size of an old laptop power brick. Bigger than I would like, but I want to make sure on long trips I can charge my phone, tablet, and possibly my Switch. This is what I went with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IVMXW7G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Another small arguable benefit to that one is it supports USB-C input as well as micro-USB, which I thought might come in handy since most of the time I'll have just a USB-C cable around for the Note9.

u/Fenrir1536 · 1 pointr/gpdwin

Oh in that case I'm not sure what to tell you, I haven't used my WIN 1 in a while but from what I remember their was no weirdness when fully charged while playing. I used this Ravpower battery and charger for charging both the WIN1 and the battery and had no problems with either.

u/jbourne0129 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Yeah I was wondering this as well. I have this portable charger and I was looking into what I'd need to charge USB-C and I think you do need USB-C on both ends. I'm really not sure though.

This is the age old question: is there a battery bank that can charge a Nintendo Switch and iPhone X at the same time? I’ve spent a weeks worth of online research trying to figure out. No luck.

The plan is to buy one battery bank for all my devices and stick it in my tech bag. The Nintendo Switch needs that USB C to USB C Charge, and I plan on picking up an iPhone X during the holidays, which can use a quick charging usb A 3.0 Port. I don’t want to get a battery case for the iPhone X because I want to remain to that sleek new design Apple was going for, and I currently have a pretty bulky phone and want to downsize it (iPhone 6 Plus with Mophie Battery Case). Same thing applies to my Nintendo Switch. Keep it elegant.

Most banks on the market only have one USB C Port (most likely input and output), along with one or two usb 2.0/3.0 ports. So I’ve found some options for around $50 that have a quick charging 3.0 port (which works for the iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus) and a separate USB C port for the Switch, but I’m not sure if I can charge both devices at once. If they can, how well? These three, based off the descriptions and people’s Q&As, supports charging the iPhone and the Switch. But nothing on BOTH. Here are the links:

I'd recommend this one

https://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-RAVPower-20100mAh-Portable/dp/B01IVMXW7G/ref=sr_1_9?srs=5737052011&ie=UTF8&qid=1484766754&sr=8-9&keywords=usb+c

I've been using it since release (and it regularly goes on sale for $35) around the nexus 6P launch and it's perfect.

Plus, the anker only outputs max 2.4A per port, but USB C can do 3A, which this bank can do. So it'll charge things a little quicker

Ignore that bit. Anker did a horrible job with their photo showing max per port amps. They clarify it below. It's maxed at 2.4/USB-A, and 3A/USB-C. So get whichever you want

Anyone have Type-C / USB-C Input & Output RAVPower 20100mAh Portable Charger QC 3.0 Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Power Bank External Battery Pack + QC3.0 USB Charger for Macbook, Galaxy S8, iPhone and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IVMXW7G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vsszzbTHSEVK6

Seems like the best price for power/performance option, plus it comes with the fast charger. Seems like it should be a top notch Switch power bank, but wanted to double check.

If not, is USB C Power Bank RAVPower 26800 PD Portable Charger 26800mAh(Faster Recharged in 4.5 Hours &USB-C Input, 30W Type-C Output)for Nintendo Switch, USB Type-C Laptops, 2016 MacBook Power Delivery Support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LRQDAEI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dFszzbCGSWVXR way better?
