I always get Anker cables from amazon. I've had the ones I use since I got my pixel 2 xl 2 years ago and they are still in great condition. Here are the ones I have.

Anker Cables. Anker is by far and away one of if not the best 3rd party cable manufacturers. Their portable battery packs are also great. I have 4 of these lying around between the car, office, and home.

I use an anker from Amazon. I got two 6' braided cords and a great adapter with anker's smart charging and fast charge 3.0

I started using these cables over the weekend and I have had no issues. It appears to have been the cable on both of my keyboards. I have one at work and at home. They were both having the issue, more so the one at work. I just got into work this morning, but I have been purposely trying to shock the keyboard and haven't been able to do it. If it happens again I will follow up, but the new cables appear to have fixed the issue.

I use these on the daily and even leave one in my car. They support fast charging and will assist in recharging my phone by the time I get to work if I forgot to charge it at night (40min).
Anker is the only brand I trust now after having spent egregious amounts of money on other branded phone accessories.

You could probably go with an AC adapter with a bit more wattage, but don't exceed 20 watts of output. That's the danger zone for un-official chargers.

Alternatively you could just get a Extension cable and stick a male to female adapter on one end. For whatever reason they don't make male to female cables over ~4ft

True, I will eventually get one of the larger chargers (probably one of the Anker ones with the C-port and ~4 A-ports as well) but just wanted something relatively inexpensive as a backup while traveling so I didn't need to worry about taking the one that came with it.

I did read some review someone did on this sub that tested out an ~80 watt charger and said it seemed to charger slower than the included ~30 watt one.

For reference, the cables I did end up buying yesterday were these for the C-to-C and these for the C-to-A. I've always had good experiences with Anker. I also picked up this hub, again mainly for traveling so I could hook it up to the TV if necessary. Doesn't have power pass thru but figured it would suit my needs for the near future and I could use it if/when I upgrade my MBP and loose all the ports on that.

The cable itself doesn't support the Qualcomm quick charge standard, and honestly I'd stop using it since you don't know if it's implemented any other standards incorrectly, which could lead to issues when charging your phone.

Just bought this Anker cable and AA won't work at all with the Anker cable. Kinda works with some junk cable I have but the most I've got with the Anker cable is to blink to a black screen on my phone and head unit like AA is starting, but then quits. Any ideas?

I bought this pair right here almost two years ago. They've seen heavy use and are still basically flawless. Really can't come up with a single bad thing to say about them. Definitely recommend.

Except I haven't said anything remotely similar to that at all. I don't know if you just happened to completely miss the point, but the point was literally about cables compatible with the Switch, that's why I explicitly mentioned a 56k ohm resistor on my post. Its the speck presidio grip case. I highly recommend it. I've had it for my previous phones and I never got any dents or scratches on my phone. Plus, the grip really helps a lot.
For the charger, I recommend the official one from samsung. You can find it on amazon. Its inexpensive.
