Ive had these a little over a year. Really nice for the price. Wife ended up getting a pair after she tried mine.

I built this with the intention of doing 3-gun competitions. This is my first build, but I've been around here for years watching and reading. Also..I've asked some questions along the way. I've decided to make this thorough as a mofo as I know in my stalking I'd have enjoyed it!

Here are some previous posts to help guide me:

My experience has shown that NOT to be the case. And I know I'm not imagining things because the NRR numbers listed on Amazon clearly show a difference between electronic and passive:

Haven't official used them yet, just opened em up today but we'll see.

I use these for pheasant hunting.

I can hear stuff in the distance (trains horn and the clack of the track over a mile away) and the noise of walking through the grass on settings toward the lower end of the range.

The wind can be loud depending if you are walking into it, with it, or a cross wind.

I like them much better than my non-Electronic Howard Ls

I recently bought these:

I've had them for a couple of weeks now. Batteries have had about 30 hrs of use, and haven't died yet. Thankfully, I can get more from stores if I need them.
