I think it's this one! Or maybe the big one, I can't seem to find measurements on the amazon page. It has a hole in the back so you can also mount it on the wall as well.

I have a lot of easels but my favorite and the one that is the most convent and folds up the smallest that I have is the Winsor & Newton artist Easel bristol water color Aluminum its my favorite it also tilts all the way so if you need it to be flat you can to paint any way you like its so easy to assemble and you can carry it anywhere it weighs almost nothing compared to the other heavy easels I have that are wood and heavy and hard to assemble this one is great! I highly recommend investing in this easel it will make traveling to paint a breeze and for storage it takes up no room. It comes with a tiny carry case with handles its the best!!! I am so spoiled I can't paint with any of my other easels. https://www.amazon.com/Winsor-Newton-Bristol-Aluminum-Colour/dp/B0038M1KX8

You bring up a great point, and I wish I could tell you that the "be-all, end-all" decisions regarding dimensions / weight / etc. were left to CubiScan. However, those measurements and weights affect so many things in the process from the time we receive an item until it goes out the door to a customer, that there is rarely a black and white answer for things. Also, there are items we as associates question every day as to why the system states an item is sortable v. nonsortable. I've also said several times in this forum that we stretch CubiScan's capabilities beyond what its manufacturer intended because, as of right now, it's the best thing we have. CubiScan was designed to capture dimensions and weights of boxed items -- hence its name -- and it does a great job at that. But, as you all are well aware, not every item comes to us boxed. I've suggested to a couple of folks in PMs that if they want more control over the dimensional measurements of their products, send them to us pre-boxed. But, that's a cost-benefit analysis thing -- am I paying more to have an item boxed than I would be in paying for "air" in a poly bag...more on that later. Let's look at some examples based upon your plastic totes comment...and some other things that pop up as well...I hope reddit let's me link to items on the AMZN site. These items are chosen based upon our experiences with them, so disregard the brand, etc. and consider the items themselves. Here we go...

  1. This item easily fits within the confines of one of our totes, but is it a sortable item? I draw your attention to the fact that this item weighs 99 pounds.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NY7MCTI/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1

  2. This item can be physically folded several times, but would you want to receive a $500 item folded six or seven times and crammed into a small box to save on shipping? https://www.amazon.com/Versace-Collection-Applique-Trousers-Black/dp/B0718Y9HFJ/ref=sr_1_45?ie=UTF8&qid=1520453592&sr=8-45&keywords=versace+apparel+for+men

  3. Let's assume this item doesn't come boxed from the manufacturer [in reality, it does], but rather, the manufacturer poly bags it UNFOLDED, with the bag being slightly larger than 3' X 5'. Our packers are not given time to fold items and are prompted by the system on which size box to select based upon items being packed. Do we measure the item as it is in-hand, or CubiScan it folded? How many folds? https://www.amazon.com/SolarGuard-Specifications-Annin-Flagmakers-145660/dp/B0018ZUBDW/ref=sr_1_9?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1520453937&sr=1-9&keywords=state+flag+nylon

  4. This item requires bubble wrapping to protect the item, but more importantly, the associates handling it. Bubble wrapping dramatically changes the dimensions of an item, but it must be taken into account because that is how the item will be shipped. https://www.amazon.com/Body-Solid-Oly-Power-Chrome/dp/B0039Z5FHQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1520454668&sr=8-5&keywords=free+weight+bar

  5. Shouldn't these be sortable items? They can fit into a tote with causing damage to the item. They aren't. https://www.amazon.com/Carson-Dellosa-144030-Scalloped-Borders-Variety/dp/B0043C1ZV4/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1520454837&sr=8-15&keywords=bulletin+board+borders

  6. Sortable? Yes. Why? The way it's packaged. https://www.amazon.com/DC-300529-Shoes-Court-Graffik/dp/B077T6K1Z2/ref=sr_1_84?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1520455679&sr=1-84&nodeID=679255011&psd=1&keywords=dc+shoes+mens

  7. Sortable? No. Why? The way it's packaged. https://www.amazon.com/Woolrich-Oxbow-Flannel-Forest-Medium/dp/B01NBKMYGM/ref=sr_1_28?ie=UTF8&qid=1520455756&sr=8-28&keywords=mens+flannel+shirts

Well I’m guessing at that age they will be doing storyboards, so i recommend pencils, colouring pencils and paper.

Posters such as this or this one should also fit in ok.

Might consider something like this To put it in. Otherwise you have some good ideas. I recommend these, and some art from his favorite video game.

I actually use this on a paper towel roller to sketch out quick thumbnails. Never used it for wire framing, but it should do the job fine.

I just bought this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007X1D8I/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and have already lined four bulletin boards with it. I have plenty left over too. There are forty strands in the package so I know I will be good for a long while!

Where do people recommend drawing the line between profit and cash flow? For example I found a place where I can get these:

www.amazon.com/ALEX-Toys-Artist-Studio-Travelers/dp/B00RHGFUNW

For $49.10, but I'd have to buy 10 of them. After total FBA costs, including inbound shipping, handling, and Amazon referral fees, I've calculated out the cost to ~$82.00 per unit, which means if I sell them for $130 each I'm coming out ahead ~$48.00 each. Problem is, I'm not sure how long it would actually take for 10 of these to sell, hence my question.
