I had my rims done by a local company, they are the factory 16" painted gloss black. My mazda emblem is actually a long story, but essentially it is just scuffed up with sand paper ready to be painted but I liked the look and stuck it back on the way it is. I have also installed car play, and 3D printed a shift knob. The factory bose system was a little lacking and put a small under seat sub in to help fill the sound, but am still not happy with it, so that's a future project.

It does require drilling underneath the bumper btw

It’s far from a Perfect fitment, fyi. Mine is 3M taped/screwed on and plasti dipped for now but it l plan on moulding it in and painting the bumper

The authentic one has a license plate holder.

The eBay version is cheaper, but it's a rep, so it may have fitment issues.

There is an alternative eBay version that is just the lip portion, as well.

Here is an Amazon rep of the front lip portion only.

If you can, get the authentic version, because for $25, you can get it colored matched.

If you get the reps, you still have to pay for painting, which can cost hundreds.

It's not super high quality, plastic similar to the bumper. But I used my own bolts and fasteners to attach and it looks super clean to me.

Maintenance first. Get everything checked out. I can almost guarantee you that it has been tinkered with by the previous owner. Make sure there aren't any spun rods or anything like that. Check for rust if you or the car are from an area that salts roads. After that then worry about mods.

V-spec lips look nice though

thanks man! here's the link its only like 20 bucks with amazon prime. fitting it wasnt bad, clean the underside of the car reeeeeeaaaaaalllyyyyy well and if its not an ambient temp of like 70 degrees Fahrenheit use a heat gun to warm up the bumper and the 3m glue. other than that it holds well while you form it. (i had to cut two small pieces out to form it around the curves in the front there. no biggie though. i would also recommend using the screws it comes with to help in the areas of the greatest stress. it may sound like a lot but i didn't want to leave anything out lol
