Well an average hanging rope is recommended to be 3/4th an inch of Minila or Hemp. You can buy 25ft of 3/4" rope on Amazon for ~$26. So roughly $1/ft.

That makes a normal hanging rope $13 and change. Also it weighs 1.9lbs.

So... at 1.1 trillion thats roughly 84.6 billion per foot.

At 1.9lbs = 4309 carets, the most expensive gemstone is the pink star diamond.

The price of the pink star diamond is $83million at 59.6 (or 60 cause lazy) carets.

4309(total weight of rope)÷60(weight of PSD)=71.8 (number of psd's) × 83m= (cost of diamonds) = $5.959 Billion

In conclusion: You could make a rope featuring 60 of the most expensive gemstone in the world and it wouldn't be the cost of 1/100th of the cost the war to hang him would be.

My math might be off, but it's a rough estimate.

I recommend the neodymium magnets from CMS. They're the cheapest I've been able to find: http://www.magnet4sale.com/search.php?search_query=fishing

For the rope, I recommend a braided nylon, but you can use most types. I've been using the 3/8 which is pretty good, but I'm probably going to try some 1/4 to see how I like it: https://www.amazon.com/SGT-KNOTS-Utility-Rope-Made/dp/B00XRMF0YY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1486080250&sr=8-2&keywords=braided+nylon+rope

Yes, the texture does seem to come from the reflective part. I like it, started using it two or three years ago and haven't missed paracord but i really only use it for ridge lines and guy lines. I don't typically build shelters or do other things that require lashings

It’s good rope but not real Dacron.

Looks to be about $80 with these parts:

2*$15 Pulleys

$25 Belt

$25 Rings

$16 Rope

This is assuming you have a place to hang it.

This. Go with a braided nylon rope. Here's what I bought (I use 3/8, but I'm thinking about giving the 1/4 a try): https://www.amazon.com/SGT-KNOTS-Utility-Rope-Made/dp/B01DKWDE1G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1482768561&sr=8-2&keywords=nylon+rope

I'm guessing that link won't do you a ton of good so here's a link to what is close to the same thing on amazon.co.uk. The mm to inches isn't an exact match but I think it's pretty close (the imperial system of measurements is so dumb). Anyways, here's the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blackspur-Braided-Rope-mtrs-Colours/dp/B007MJXHVQ/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1482768568&sr=8-20&keywords=nylon+rope

Of course, the length of rope you get is really up to your preference. I usually go for something between 50-100 feet (~15-30 meters)

As far as in store vs. online - I've found that I can get a lot better prices online. I'm not sure what magnet you've got now but you can get a neo with 90 kg of pull for 23 pounds here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Home-Kitchen/first4magnets-F4MA48M8-EYE-1-Diameter-Neodymium-Clamping-Magnet-Pull/B003MWDRO4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1482768958&sr=8-2&keywords=magnet+fishing

I’m more of a bowler hat guy than an fedora guy. But I will take your advice and buy some rope. But I have a question. Should I go with this hemp rope(https://www.amazon.com/Twisted-Manila-Rope-Hemp-100/dp/B01GH0MHG6?ref_=Oct_BSellerS_511394_3) or this Manila rope(https://www.amazon.com/T-W-Evans-Cordage-26-011-100-Feet/dp/B00DKA3S6A?ref_=Oct_BSellerS_511394_9)? Or do you recommend another type of rope?

A good example would be car seat belt webbing that's often a 2 inch wide webbing, because it's wide and flat it distributes the force more evenly than a rope(which would exert a point force at the center of the rope)
I'd prefer 3 inch webbing like this for a rough pull out if I had to secure to a single structural member of a uni-body car, because the edges of the stamped metal frame members are the most fragile parts I'd want that load very widely distributed.
If I only had 1 or 2 inch wide webbing, I'd try to attach to multiple points, using something like this
that might allow you to use much cheaper 1 or 2 inch wide climbing webbing.

I can’t really add much more than what has already been said. Safety is paramount above all else so definitely do your research as others have posted.

When you’re ready to start practicing YouTube has some decent tutorials for beginners. Just search for “rope bondage”. I’ve specifically used this before and I love it.

Also Amazon has some decent beginner ropes. Here is a link to what I bought first starting out.
