This. Write a bunch of scary ass shit from the view of a tortured and murdered teenager. Bury an old ass black and white picture of a cute, yet sinister looking girl in the yard near something specific, like a tree. Then reveal the location of it in form of a riddle. Wait a couple of years then mail them one of these. Attach a note that says: "When your problems become too heavy to carry, it might help to lighten the load."

It's often recommended to use a portable generator, but they can be a little expensive. I don't have any idea how to rig it to a car battery either, but that sounds bulky, and I wouldn't want to be carrying around a vessel sloshing with sulfuric acid in addition to a net and a backpack full of jars.

I purchased this blacklight for my setup, and it's decent for the money. A lot of people will recommend you get a Mercury Vapor (MV) setup, but I reckon they'll have a considerably larger power draw. Also, here is a link to the sheet that I purchased. It's a really good value, especially since it will get covered in various bug fluids.

Funnel trapping is also a good method, but I've never tried it personally. Let this post ferment a little bit, and I'm sure you'll get a little melting pot of information going!

Good luck!

I know you said you want a regular light bulb size, but I really recommend you get the ones that are a long tube instead. They're much stronger than any you can find in a bulb style and they're not that expensive, I've seen them at Wal-mart for under $20 for a 24" with all parts necessary.

But, If you really need a bulb just make sure you don't get the incandescent style, those are garbage. You literally have to place them right next to whatever you want to glow and they've always burnt out on me after a few days with minimal use. CFL (the twisty ones) bulbs are ok, but you'll need several and maybe some reflectors to really give them range. A blue CFL bulb will also cause fluorescent things to glow, and they're much brighter and have a longer range than the black light CFLs, but then everything will be blue. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool, but it might not serve your purposes. There's also LED blacklight bulbs now, I don't have much experience with those, though.

make sure you get a big one, small ones won't do it. I bought mine on amazon, it was this one for $20. It works perfectly but the cord is very short.

I had been pretty disappointed in the choices I had made to get some of my BDs in GITD. That was until I ordered THESE! Before that, I had been using a CFL bulb to “charge” up my toys. I would put them under the light for about 15 minutes, rotating them every so often to try and maximize their glow but finding minimal success. So little that I was never able to take a decent pic of them glowing. BUT NO MORE! These LED flashlights achieved the pictured glow in about 20 seconds! A world of a difference and now probably half of my future orders will try to incorporate a GITD colour into it. I also wanted to share in case anyone else had run into the same disappointing results I had - this might help them out too!

Also pictured is my medium Sleipnir in Opal and the balls to my large Chance in his Natural colouration.

Here's a possible option. I'd go with the 48", probably.

Okay, so, many folks report good luck with wrapping the front element and body in aluminum foil and exposing the rear element to direct sunlight in a south-facing window. Apparently takes days to weeks depending on how much UV you get. Some people put the lens outside (not behind a window) and got results in days.

However, the UV lamp seems the ideal situation for me because I live in a place that doesn't get much sun in the first place, and I had a north-facing window only in a basement suite. Also you may not want to expose a lens to the elements like that. Rain, dust, etc are things I wish to avoid.

Here is the lamp I bought. I used Amazon prime and it should arrive Friday. I hope to know if it works within 48 hours of me rigging up a foil-lined enclosure (cooled by fan if needed). Fluorescent bulbs win over incandescent because fluorescent lamps can produce much more UV per watt. However, be sure it's not just a blue-tinted light and that it actually does produce a reasonable amount of UV. Comments help there because people are usually buying these for parties where they want that cool UV fluorescent effect. Presumably it's not of a sufficiently small wavelength to give you melanoma o.0

  1. This year? I have three parties I'm going to and one I'm hosting; my four costumes are: Mad Moxxi (Borderlands), Poison Ivy (Batman), Arcade Sona (League of Legends), and Winter Queen Mab (Dresden Files).

  2. This blacklight is my current most-needed. I am now officially out of blacklights to set up for my decorations, and will need others to finish out everything.

Depends on the lighting set up you have. We have a four light ceiling fan with standard size sockets.

(A) Do I need to remove the glue before putting on new baseboards? No, but it should be smooth, so the baseboards lay flat.

(B) Is drywall tape the best way to repair the tears? No, just smooth on the compound, let it dry, then sand. The tears will disappear.

(C) How is laminate flooring in a basement? Not good. You want something that is 100% waterproof. Look at luxury vinyl plank or tile. Meets all your needs, easy to install, and easy on the wallet.

I will also suggest you purchase a cheap blacklight to find all the urine stains:

Then use an enzyme treatment to break down the odor causing compounds:

Black light usually refers to a light that puts out a lot of ultraviolet and not a lot of visible light. Certain substances fluoresce under UV light, and rave organizers seem to make use of it a lot. It was very popular in the 70s, and has recently made a comeback in the PC modder's scene. Here's a link. Does that help?

My craziest fetish is .. Being choked. God just having hands or something tightening around my neck as I slowly start getting closer and closer to orgasm. This blacklight is exactly 10$ and good for sexy times. or this for when I am going down on Austin. <3

The main item would be the ink, so here's the info on that:

Name: "Noodler’s Bulletproof Blue Ghost Invisible Fountain Pen Ink"

$14 for 3oz

Product Links:

Black Light: http://amzn.to/2newY0J

You would of course need a black light for this to glow, and turning it off will not show the ink at all.

The glass dip pens he linked to are sold out, so I found similar ones here that range from $20 to $90:

Watch out for the cheap "black light" incandescent bulbs they sell, they're basically just a purple tinted regular light bulb. You need the one that looks like a little florescent bulb or the compact florescent bulbs like this

u/DoodlesAndSuch · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This paint and this light to go with it. Then you can have pretty light shows!

u/rednax1206 · 1 pointr/NoStupidQuestions

If you want to fill the whole room with blacklight, you probably get a bulb like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X1MXT82/

Go on Amazon and look for a "Blacklight". It's literally the same thing as those lights you saw. They have been called blacklights forever but they are UV lights. This one is like the one I have had for like almost 20 years. Don't use it anymore really, but it still works.

u/mrclawking · 1 pointr/funkopop

so some one made this using this case and used some sort of black light like this.

u/FGLD · 1 pointr/ElectricForest

If anyone has CFL Black lights that would be superior due to the lower power consumption. Hooking up 5x60W standard black light bulbs will draw significantly more power than a 20W or 13W CFL bulb.

Something like this would be best: http://www.amazon.com/American-Black-Light-Fixture-Black-24BLB/dp/B0002F5544/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1465131591&sr=8-4&keywords=black+light
