That's cool, though Metta is probably a knock-off brand. Mattel owns the rights to the game. Amazon Spain carries a spanish-language version of UNO. Still upvoting OP.

Here ya go, my dude!

I de-branded the PSD file to make it generic so anyone can use it however they want! If you wanna play with a fellow IT guy, be sure to mix up the squares for each participant!

Hide it from your boss and users!

They don't understand and get mad!

EDIT: I also cut out a piece of cardboard to back it. So, when you get a square, you can really hit it with the bingo dauber. https://www.amazon.com/DAB-INK-3oz-Bingo-Daubers/dp/B01C4QBW3G/ref=zg_bs_7427870011_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=686JQTEJ6K0F7YFQ9HVW

I like using bingo chips! You can buy them in large quantities cheap at walmart or where-ever. Or amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/1000-Pack-Bingo-Chips-Mixed/dp/B0030USW3E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473871447&sr=8-1&keywords=bingo+chips

Then I use a dry erase marker to mark them up. If there are multiple creatures that are the same, I mark numbers on them to differentiate them. Different species get different colours. Done.

Looks like "Metta" is a knock-off version of Mattel, because the Spanish Mattel version is also called Uno

I don't have room in the house for a dedicated game table so we use the dining room table.

If I did though:

Seating for 6

Padded rail with drink holder and a cutout tray to hold components

I wouldn't choose felt as a surface. Too hard to clean up spills and tendency to pile.

I would go for the surface that casino poker tables use, Speed Cloth

An over-lay that I could put over our dining room table would be ideal

Dice aren't limited to six sides. =)

But yeah, point remains. If there's more than two universes connected like that, Magus's magic working doesn't imply he's from the gryphon universe.

You can still buy some on Amazon if you're interested.

u/patiofurnature · 2 pointsr/poker

Have you considered DIY? I made one with plywood, topped with insulation foam, then covered with 'suited speed cloth.' The cloth is available on amazon if that's an option in Denmark. If not, you can find something that will work at a fabric store.

Translucent casino dice are almost always marked with the name of a casino. These are distributed after they have been retired from an actual gaming facility and are marked to show authenticity at the table. So finding them without a mark will require purchasing brand new ones. Casino dice are typically translucent, can be found in any color and come in the standard size you're looking for. I would like to point out that anything like this is not the same as what is posted above. Casino dice have sharp edges and corners and have larger pips. That's why it may take some searching to find unmarked, casino grade, gaming dice as they're typically produced in serialized batches for casinos.

Edit: Here's some that will probably fit exactly what you're looking for: They come in four colors

On a side note; what is that show about? Just real briefly.

For metal coins to cost around $20 and to have enough coins for most games is really difficult requirement (not even getting into it being genre-less). The Scythe Coins is a good find and you may need to hold out for that or other suggestions people have made and in the short term you could play with pennies, nickels, and dimes (or your regional equivalent). Those are small, plentiful, and the best bang for your buck.

With that said if you are willing to go a little outside your price range, i'd look into penny gems link. Those are genre free, have a interesting counting symbology (count the points on the pictures, Half moon is 2, triangle is 3, hexagon is 6 and so on), are self healing, no slip stacking and don't tip over on wobbly tables if they are stacked high. Also, because of the material they are made out of, you can write on them with permanent marker and it will wipe off. This is great for temporary custom token making. These coins visually don't seem that great on the internet but they have a surprising good quality feel to them when you hold them. I backed the dudes first kickstarter years ago and have been really happy with them ever since. Also check out the rest of his etsy, he has all kinds of custom penny gem stuff for various games.

If you are adamant on price but not on the material then for the ultimate in light weight, packing convenience, and price look no further than bingo tokens link. $10 for a thousand in a multitude of colors. You could write on these and put whatever you want or go nuts with game appropriate stickers. It wont erase like penny gems but they are so cheap it wouldn't matter.

I have no idea why I got so involved about such a niche circumstance. Anywho, I wish you the best!

Not a typical rattan cane, but I have this and love it: http://www.amazon.com/Trademark-36-Inch-Rattan-Craps-Stick/dp/B000G63TMO?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

I hold the hooked end, using the shaft as a cane. It's a bit thicker than most other rattan canes, so not quite as whippy. Most subs I've worked with preferred it to my more traditional segmented rattan cane.

Since someone already listed some great crayons I'll tell u what my toddler likes now when he needs something a little different. The dauber markers are [fun] (https://www.amazon.com/DAB-INK-3oz-Bingo-Daubers/dp/B01C4QBW3G/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525261495&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=daubers&dpPl=1&dpID=61nAZZmrpsL&ref=plSrch) and dip some marbles in paint and let them roll them around a paper it will look like [this] (https://artfulparent.com/marble-painting-for-kids/) also my son likes it when we take shaving cream and mix food coloring in it so he can just make a mess. Someone mentioned laying out parchment paper and I agree with that.

Hand Cranked Card Shuffler (2-Deck) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004DALR14/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5GH.AbE08W6EB

It works decent but can be finicky on non brand slightly off size decks. I find its about laying the split deck in nice and being consistent with the right frequency in your cranking speed.

https://www.amazon.com/Hand-Cranked-Card-Shuffler-2-Deck-x/dp/B004DALR14
I use this at my homegame because no one else deals fast enough and I think I'd be more able to see cards if I manually shuffle. (I am not very good at shuffling) It works well and is quite quick if you use your off hand to catch the cards instead of using the plastic thing.

amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0048O94YM?pc_redir=1405438712&robot_redir=1 here you go, It's a bit pricey though for a coin.

u/generalk · 1 pointr/poker

In a poker room I usually use one of the highest-denom chips I'm holding. I don't have any specific reasoning behind using the largest chip, but there you have it.

In home games (and in my pocket at the card-room, should I decide to use it one day) I use the "Platinum" Lucky 38 chip from the Fallout: New Vegas collector's edition. (Picture: http://www.amazon.com/Fallout-Vegas-Lucky-Platinum-Chip/dp/B0048O94YM)
