That's cool, though Metta is probably a knock-off brand. Mattel owns the rights to the game. Amazon Spain carries a spanish-language version of UNO. Still upvoting OP.

>The boosters come out of slots in a plastic display rack like a wall of candy dispensers at a drug store.

This one is not actually uncommon - it's a product both Ultimate Guard and Ultra Pro manufacture for retail locations: https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Guard-UGD30009-Acrylic-Dispenser/dp/B017SYUO8I

Nope, it's official - Made by Mattel (they typically make the Minecraft merchandise): https://www.amazon.com/Mattel-Games-Minecraft-Card-Game/dp/B0119J9VMI

Looks like "Metta" is a knock-off version of Mattel, because the Spanish Mattel version is also called Uno

  • Exit: the game series (Highly recommended, fairly inexpensive, start with the cabin one)
  • Unlock Series (I hated this one but the consensus is you either love this and hate exit:the game or vice versa so probably worth trying)
  • escape room in a box series (only played the werewolf experiment, this one has locks which makes it neat but I felt the puzzles used a lot of busy work and weren't particularly challenging)
  • escape the room series (I tired the second one and it's beautiful but I felt it was super easy)
  • deckscape series (havent played yet, on my list of things to do).

There's quite a few more if you look around.

Jeebers. Of that list, for each one I actually want, I already have it.

Some good games on there. Found some more.

Is this actually an off-brand? Seems like Amazon selling fake things branded Top Trumps would be a big problem, and they're not the online retailer doing so - that second shop is the one linked to from the Top Trumps website too

This one is a bit rough. As I'm sure a lot of GM's don't really wish to just purchase a metric ton of minis, paint them and store them for their limited and exact use. Personally I have found a few... Cheaper alternatives.

  1. Magic the Gathering cards. Sounds a bit silly but follow me. Hole punch the image out, some filler, glue them together and you get a sorta carboard-ish token with really nice art on it. And cheap as all god damn hell as I bought a box of 2k cards for ~$25.

  2. 3D print that stuff. I know most folks may not have one available, but if you do you can print off some pretty great stuff for use.

  3. Pathfinder. Yes, they still make the cardboard standie stuff for monsters. Here is quick one I found on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pathfinder-Pawns-Bestiary-2-Box/dp/1601255004/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Pathfinder+Pawns%3A+Monster+Codex+Box&qid=1555936626&s=kids&sr=1-2-catcorr

    Hope that helps out!

UltraPro makes a passable zippered quad row binder but the card pockets are generously sized if you're just looking to Perfect Fit your cards, but they are taut enough to be kept in the pocket (they just might slip to an off center position).

Ultimate Guard makes quality binders, I don't personally have one of the zippered Quad Row models but the Professor has a positive review of them. If you're not 100% fixated on the zippered aspect I'd definitely check out Dex Protection's 12-pocket binders, they're very high quality; I have 8.

Another game I didn't see mentioned is Chrononauts.. It's one of my favorites!

u/Luc4_Blight · 2 pointsr/nostalgia

I didn't remember the name until today when I googled. They actually brought them back and sell them on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Top-Trumps-Fantasy-Retro-Card/dp/B075FTHSQZ

Auf Bild 3 siehst du eine Frage, die brammen auch gestellt hat. Die frage nach de7m Felsen aus König der Löwen. Bin mir recht sicher, dass es dieses Spiel ist.

While you may not be pricing the cards, using the pricing guide on tcgplayer.com is a good place to start organizing specific sets. It can also give you a general market value for all conditions as you are organizing. If you see the market value on a specific card is much higher than others in the set, you should consider protecting that one with penny and hard sleeves(or depending on the card, perhaps more than that). If you are going to store your cards in binders, i recommend these sleeves for inside sleeves and these sleeves for the outside soft sleeve prior to putting in a binder like this or like this.

Ultra Pro Deck Builder's Premium Binder

Some people dont like Ultra Pro and prefer other companies. This one is one of my personal favorites. Cover feels solid and I appreciate the zipper around it.

u/reaper527 · 1 pointr/magicTCG

i got the deck builder's premium pro (4 wide) binder and love it.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DA81HYQ/

it was on one of the tcc review videos. my sister ended up getting the same binder after she saw mine.

(not really, but I love the clever wordplay of that game title)

ugh --- actually looked at it. It's just more of the same crap.

Easiest/cheapest way to get a good variety quickly is to use the Pathfinder NPC codex box. Lots of variety and pretty inexpensive. They also have the bestiary box.

What we do at our table is use the cardboard for PCs and then actual mini figures for the NPCs/bad guys. Its an easy way to know who is good and bad on the battle field.

Not sure what you mean by small box, but Puerto Rico is amazing. The Minecraft card games is surprisingly really good too. I bought it for our kids but my wife and I actually enjoy playing it as well, and it's very inexpensive.

This is the way to go. I have figurines for the players themselves, but I use pawns for the monsters. There are four Pawn sets. Here are Amazon links:

Bestiary Box 1

Bestiary Box 2

Bestiary Box 3

Bestiary Box 4

u/crankystevens · 1 pointr/tabletop

The beginner box contains a few hero and monster cards to get you started, that can be bought on the Amazon market place, if you are looking for just monsters then Bestiary box 2,3 & 4 can be bought directly from Amazon, and it looks like you can get the first on marketplace too.
