Most of these are original from my childhood. They were just collecting dust in my parents' basement, so I rescued them, bought a shelf off Amazon, box art cases from Custom Game Cases, and put them on display.

Playing old games brings back a lot of good memories, but I've had just as much fun adding to the collection as of late. I don't think I'll ever go for 296 (I'm at 39 right now with one on the way), but there are some fun ones I missed the first time around. I'll make sure to add those eventually.

Edit: I've also pre-ordered the UltraHDMI mod, so I'm pretty excited to get that. I won't be modding my original console, though. I'll pick up a used one online, and one of the modders can operate on that. Haha.

Can't imagine lugging this around let alone the 300 individual cases, disks and manuals.

I got it from Amazon. It's called the Prepac Double Multimedia Tower, but it seems to be out of stock everywhere. If you find one online, I'd recommend it. It's sturdy, looks nice, and is really easy to put together.

So I have the larger version of this but I couldn't find the listing. Maybe its been discontinued. I keep most of my collection in my living room and you can fit ALOT of stuff in that for such a low profile if you only open the doors at a 90 degree angle. Plus, if you're entertaining guests it can be inconspicuous and not look like you are a video game hoarder. (even though I am. hahah!) I will say its show its age over the years though.

edit: Found it

We have this one that rotates and is very heavy and have had 0 issues with it tipping(it be pretty hard I’d have to actually push it with all my strength to knock it over). https://www.amazon.com/Venture-Horizon-Revolving-Media-Walnut/dp/B00CA6QLGY/ref=pd_aw_lpo_196_tr_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PNT2GW2A2A5BS32JZXWK

With that said mine did love spinning it around and around when she got a bit older!

Something that I did years ago was purchase a shoe sized box with A-Z guides and hundreds of paper CD sleeves with the plastic window. So you'd end up shrinking that wall of DVD's down to a shoe box worth of discs that is easy to look through and add to.

I held onto my cases since it was Blu-rays that I did. I plan on displaying the full collection on shelves once I have the space to do it. . .one of these years. I have the cases stored away in a couple of those huge IKEA blue tarp bags that sell for around $1.50 each.

Here's links of what I have for reference:

Here's an option. Any cd/dvd holder shelf is a pretty good size for skylanders.

This is what I use I have four of them, but only use 3 of em for now. They make a 52 slot one as well that is a little bigger.

hahaha, ok what about something like this. you could put the system on top or bottom and then games on the other. you could use game related bookends to keep the cases upright. or use this for the games and just get a sigle level shelf.
