I live in the northeast and as you know it gets cold therefore business does come to a slow haul. We have costumes we often wear when we dont have more than 5 ups in 3 days called noodle wear. It's a little emasculating but it's something we have to do when traffic plateaus. Oooh, good question. I spent some time on the RPF tracking things down, so here's a breakdown. For the record, eventually I will be trading all of this for the ANOVOS set because it looks so good. I placed an order, but knowing ANOVOS, it might take a year.
Vest: Purchased from the Disney Store. They have a kids' Jyn Erso vest. https://smile.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Sergeant-Erso-Costume/dp/B01N1Q7U8B/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492644234&sr=8-1&keywords=jyn+erso+kids I ripped off all the detailing: the three pieces of black webbing, the fake puffy badge, and the fake clip. Attached rubber tubing to the inside flap and where the vertical black webbing was. Cemented that tubing with a screen accurate clip from the M60 backpack, and a buckle at the bottom. Then dyed some of that backpack's webbing to get the nice brown color for the horizontal squares on the chestpiece. 3D printed a new badge and adhered that to where the old one was. Took the cap off a lightsaber pen I'd won a few years ago at Dave & Busters as the Comm link. (And there's a Jyn toy in my other pocket, but that's just for fun.)
Shirt: Just used the Disney store one. I fit perfectly into a size 9/10. I'm 5'0 and 100 lbs.
Blaster, Death Star plans, and tonfa: 3D printed and ordered from a shop off Etsy

Sewed circles into them to be screen accurate, and added new leather I bought off eBay that I cut and sewed to the gloves. Added snaps to keep them shut.
Pants: Not screen accurate, ordered them a LONG time ago as a commision but the pants should have a wide waist tab, seams, and knee detail. Excited to upgrade in my ANOVOS set.
Belt: Ordered off Etsy
Boots: The screen accurate boots are Veronica Frye boots. They are EXPENSIVE. I managed to tool around and find them for $40 on Poshmark in a different color. Stripped them of that color and dyed brown, with weathering. Created leather flaps, dyed and weathered, and attached to the newly dyed boots. Added 3D printed clips (just ordered the Jessica Lange ski boots for screen accurate clips to sew in).
Hair: Messy bangs and layers. I pretended to have this by clipping my hair back. Should be tied into a low bun in the back.

Yeah, I looked around for sparkly morph suits too, but came up w/ nadda. I already have a chrome/silver morph suit and a gold one. They are both very shiny and you can probably get away with only throwing a little glitter in certain areas. (like the butt, since that seemed to be a focal point for that character. I know there were 2 of them sparkle Trolls, anyone know the name of the gold one?
For Poppy & Branch, you may be able to just get away w/ going store bought: Amazon Link . As for Biggie, you can modify/customize an air suit or fat suit.
I'm assuming the child wearing the Mr. Dinkles is small enough that you can likely get away with a simple sewn tube of fabric. Or you can make something similar to this Monster's Inc Boo Costume. If the child wearing Mr. Dinkles is a baby or toddler, you can try sewing a simple pattern off this costume.

I didn’t wear a costume this year- we just moved to the Midwest from Phoenix so all the costumes I have in my repertoire are not... weather appropriate. And it was snowing today. Yikes.
My toddler, on the other hand, dressed as a pumpkin. Predictably he hated it, so we didn’t get a good picture. We got green thermal pajamas and a puffy pumpkin vest thing - the idea was that his arms and legs would be green and his body would be a pumpkin. It even had an adorable hat that looked like the top of a pumpkin! He absolutely would not wear the hat, and kept ripping the vest part off, so he was just running around in his green pajamas. We got him to wear the vest for a few minutes if I let him wear the cat ears headband I had for myself... so he was a cat pumpkin.
Oh, and he refused to take his snow boots off, even though we stayed inside the whole time. Two-year-olds are fun, haha.
i'm gonna use it as a clutch instead of a bouquet - we are having a lil chapel wedding and then going to a theme park after for the "reception" so i'll wear it in the cool crossbody fashion then. i didn't do a lot of wedding research but i did see a bridesmaid pack with a bunch of clutches instead of flowers and was like OMG. it's gonna be real low key and fun so i thought the smiley face was perfect!

I will say that while it's good to prepare your daughter, it can also be very discouraging if you say the world is sexist and out to get you, as it leads to a "why bother trying mindset".
I'd also encourage a more positive attitude and trying to seek a solution as opposed to just saying "that's sexism for you"
