I actually used to be a Christian Dj a long time ago, and I've kept up with the music (I actually haven't had time in the last year, so some of this may be older, but hyperlinks to Amazon are included - I'm sure most are on iTunes as well). I broke them down by what I consider the top 6 genres of music that MOST people listen to - I excluded genres like classical, chanting, opera, country, etc. These are all Christian artists that happen to love making music that I enjoy. Many of these artists have additional albums, but I linked the ones I know I like. EXPLORE!!!

Recommendation: hold down the left Control button when you click on a link so it opens in another tab. ;)

I found that lyric in "Where the Devil Sleeps" by George Barnett, but I can only find a Chinese video site that has the video and he's not walking around a city, just in a home recording studio. He is a tall, lanky looking dude though.

Here's the link to check it out:

If you'd rather not go to the Chinese site, there is also an Amazon link where you can hear a 30 second sample (song 1):

Main instrument in this line is the viola. The sound you're specific about is a solo trumpet that is doubling the viola line, first in the same octave, then an octave above. Trumpet you say?!?!?! It's a very broad orchestral sounding trumpet. The vibrato at 3:05 gives it away.

It's very well mixed to the viola line. My perception is that this was intentionally mixed to create a "single instrument" sound out of the doubling.

An example of a similar trumpet sound can be found by listening to track 7 from This CD on Amazon

I got one of those surveys when I was in high school, only mine was ten whole dollars American! The survey was incredibly thick. I started it and stopped caring in no time.

Guided Meditation & Deep Relaxation. I need to get back in the habit.

Terri Cole. She has a CD that walks you through meditation and her voice is mesmerizing. This is the CD I own: http://www.amazon.com/Meditation-Transformation-Terri-Cole/dp/B006R33RUO

Embarrassed? Did you know he's a pretty good gospel singer and even released an album in 1996 called Sunday Morning?

Off his Niggativity album. First heard him on Jewelz Infinite - Poison.

His album is finally out and available on:
