I prefer the cups with the little peel off section where you can write your name (like with your fingernail)

Those are a lot of fun, and people get to show off their artistic talent (or lack thereof at the Engineering parties I would go to >.<)

Making up for the bad link, here's an Amazon link to stainless steel Boba straws :-)

I am looking at these guys to be a supplier for my zero waste store. They have stainless steel that are being marketed as Boba straws.

Edit: I don't see that they sell them individually :-( Sorry.

u/Soopy · 6 pointsr/Coffee

You can give Koffie Straws a shot.

u/badgeguy · 4 pointsr/boardgames

Plastic soufflé cups from Smart and Final (or your local restaurant supply store or amazon).

https://www.amazon.com/Jello-Cups-Durable-Plastic-Clear/dp/B00ELS47KQ/

They come in a variety of sizes, they’re clear making it easy to see the contents, tough enough to get beaten around, cheap enough to replace when broken, and they have lids for quick and easy setup and storage.

u/CriminalEngineering · 4 pointsr/xbiking

Nice bike! Now you need to get some of these to drink from and you'll be all set: https://www.amazon.com/Treated-Cup-200-reusable-plastic-handles/dp/B015797URY

Expensive way to buy cup lids. Amazon.com: Solo 9 Oz Plastic Cup, Lid, & Straw Combo Pack, 15 ...

I would also recommend investing in some long straws. I got some of these for my quadriplegic wife a few years ago and it has made a huge difference. Once set up with the straw in the drink she is good to go. Best to have something with a lid to help hold the straw in place though (she usually has the store put her drink in a reusable travel mug that she brings). Other size straws are available, but these have worked well and are cheap. It has made a world of difference for her going out and getting coffee with friends.

u/pearlescentpink · 3 pointsr/Perfectfit

A regular solo cup is 16oz. You can buy the square shaped, 8oz ones with a lid and a straw.

I would fill up my 90's cup from that fountain

u/Roarence · 3 pointsr/Coffee

I'd just get a BPA free/heat-safe plastic straw. If you're really against that, I'd just get the stainless steel.

I'd be curious about how this worked out First straw I found

u/TeslaIsAdorable · 2 pointsr/explainlikeimfive

Well, here you go. I didn't know they existed either, but it stands to reason...

Also, not all plastics can release BPA, so you might just want to read up on types of plastics and decide which ones are safe :).

Another option would be a very sophisticated glass straw. If it were me, though, I'd worry about breaking it and then cutting my mouth to shreds :).

u/Belugasaurus · 2 pointsr/cocktails

Thanks!

I got the straws from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00W5W7M6Q/ref=pd_aw_fbt_79_img_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CJ5N4WWEJGPM9JBWY51D

Fair warning, they’re paper straws, so they get soggy and don’t work well pretty quickly. They look great in photos, though!

u/DistinguishedSpirits · 2 pointsr/Tiki

Here's the link.

>If you want, you could refuse straws at resteraunts and purchase your own paper straws. Don’t force me to dine to your preferences.

Couldn't the same be said to you? You could also bring your own straws if you need them. There are alternatives to paper straws.Metal. and glass.

If it is a thick milkshake it can also just be ate with a milkshake spoon. Most sit down restaurants that offer milkshakes will have them.

Kids that drink from straws are more gassy and bloated because they also are sucking in air. Most kids can drink fine without straws.

>I’m simply arguing that you should mind your own business and contribute to the environment in a way that doesn’t hinder others.

Those plastic straws floating in the ocean and building up in the landfill do hinder others though.

I got mine on amazon uk so your choice may be different. I got these as they were a good deal and they do have a mix of widths.

Edited to add: I have used others in bars which were finer and ‘more elegant’ but still searching for those as the bar refused to say where they got them!

u/FlamDukke · 1 pointr/beards

Congratulations. This is the universe telling you that your mustache is too long for drinking from a can. Might I recommend this.

u/Seanyster1 · 1 pointr/kitchenporn

quick amazon search I'm not sure on quality. But pack of 10 for 30 or so seems like a deal for 16oz

Existe sim, e eu aceito essas cores daora em troca de uns m³ de água despoluída.

Love the click just worry it might get in the way of gaming. I played my alps in quake and it does feel amazing im just worried blues might be too stiff so im considering buying a cheapy kailh blue keyboard like this and seeing how I fare before ordering a poker 2.

u/Maysock · 1 pointr/buildapc

CM Storm Devastator combo (membrane) - $30

A solid wireless logitech membrane - $25

Inexpensive offbrand AULA mechanical using Kailh Blues, a chinese knockoff of cherry MX's -$40

A rosewill keyboard with ALPS switches, clicky :3 $50

Nice backlit Perixx board with Cherry MX blues. $80

Much past that and you're getting into name brand mechanicals that are fantastic, but expensive. These are just some decent keyboards for their respective prices.

Thanks!! I found them at my local grocery store. Here's a link on Amazon though.

u/2cynical4magic · 1 pointr/Showerthoughts

I bought these stainless steel straws and they came with 2 little pipe cleaners.

They're really nice when you want something super chilly because they get really cold in icy beverages.

u/NJBilbo · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

They make them.

Just sayin.... ;-)

It's almost 3:00 here, so that's not far from 5:00 and I say you're good!

u/cjmook21 · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

I'd just go with something like this anything more expensive seems like a waste. That many non-stackable cups would be a nightmare and more expensive than it's worth. 1000 is way too many though obviously.

u/pythonhalp · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

By this do you mean something like the link posted by cjmook?

u/CompGrl323 · 1 pointr/lifehacks

Never make pudding shots. Especially with black spiced rum. That was an awful idea.

Oh also, these are great for parties: It's My Solo Cup. It's a Solo Cup that has a peel off area where you can use your fingernail to write your name on the cup. I can't tell you how many times I've either drank out of someone else's cup or run around the house looking for a Sharpie.

u/Wooogly · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

£1.79 and you get £1.21 left over!

u/Q-Kat · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

CANDY!!

because I have 2 children under 5 who are now on Easter holidays for 2 weeks and everyone tells me the white dust is an excellent pick-me-up when you need a hit.

ALSO EVERYONE HERE NEEDS TO VISIT /R/SNACKEXCHANGE!! I WILL SEND CRUNCHIES AND HIPPOS FOR BAGS OF SWEDISH FISH AND ROOTBEER JELLY BELLY

u/Arcanine26 · -4 pointsr/worldnews

McDonalds wouldn't have to replace them ideally. People would be able to buy their own and keep them in the car of wherever they're most likely to need a straw.

You can get them for $1-3 per straw: 1, 2, 3
