I was really worried about that too so I have pretty much stared at this for 10 minutes and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not actually a real dog, it’s one of those electric toy dogs and it’s trying to somersault or something and it’s getting stopped by the box, hence the weird movements.

I mainly think this because if you pay attention to it and watch closely it looks very odd and robot like, and the head turn at the end is really mechanical and unnatural.

Edit: it’s also some in sort of Chinese sweat shop so really who the fuck knows what is going on here??

It's been a little while, so I can't remember the exact product, but I think [this keyboard] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FDHMWWJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8RZ9BbAP371WM) is one.

Also they still make the most annoying tot ever -- [Furbys] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0D0X57/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0UZ9BbD9EEX0F) but holy shit they are expensive now.

I totally agree that it's not an excuse for the cat to misbehave but often they are still learning the boundaries of the house and trying to see what they can get away with.

Every cat is different, but would a loud hand clap startle her if she sneaks up on you when you don't have the squirt gun or a "hey!"?

I've personally had good luck with feather wands, cheap feather boas that you can swish around for the carts to chase and tackle, a ping pong ball (on the hard floors), squeaking prey toys, this mouse toy that runs away when your cat swats it and plastic rings.

I guess it depends on what sort of games your cat likes already. Since she's all about the sneak attack- maybe a remote controlled mouse? or maybe a puzzle box?

Some of these you can make at home or substitute to get an idea of how your cat will respond to it before spending lots of money on something that they aren't too enthusiastic about.

Hi! Here's a toy I have lying around that I'd be happy to send to you for your daughter. This is the official description of the toy. I think it's been used two or three times - I bought it for my niece and it stayed at my house for her occasional visits, but it didn't get much attention. Non-smoking household but I do have dogs, although all her toys are stored away from them.

I also have these two stuffed animals. I don't think they've ever been touched - one even still has the tag. I'm not sure where the bear came from originally, but I think I won the frog from a claw machine.

Let me know if you think your daughter would like any of those and I can ship them :)

You mean this thing? Yeah, no, I wouldn't want that in my house either. That thing looks like it doesn't have a soul, but will try to eat yours to gain one. Maybe find another toy pony that is less unnerving.

Jesus fuck those are expensive. Amazon: $139.00

Nevermind cheapest one was $157.50

Maybe you should get her a barbie? Or like 30 of them.

my boy loves this petlinks mystery motion toy. Hes almost 2.5 years old and still goes wild for it. it wont stay on all day but it should keep her busy for a while. robo fish in a big bowl of water are a big hit too and they stay on as long as theyre in water but beware you'll probably come home to a decent sized mess so i would put it in the bathroom on tile for sure.

Average size indeed.

Oh, that's awful. Yeah, kiddo is extremely restricted in his "noisy toys." One of our relatives bought him a Dinotrux thing with a remote control. It's idealistically cool, but it's SO FREAKING LOUD. Like, it actually hurts my ears. That one joined the "the batteries don't work anymore~" pile. edit: it's this monstrosity, in case you have some relatives with kids you want to torment.

Thankfully mine is in a Power Rangers / Little Einsteins / My Little Pony phase right now.

I have the regular Zoomer Dino Trex and this looks to be mostly the same aside from sounds and the skin. It's pretty expensive but here's a link to the Indominous Rex.

The 2-XL Robot - for anyone who doesn't remember the early 90s, it was a robot that would play trivia with you (using pre-recorded cassette tapes). You'd hit one of the buttons on the front of the robot to answer a question.

A cassette had maybe a few dozen questions on it and then the fun was gone, especially if you didn't want to pony up for the other cassettes.

Returned that thing within a few days because it was so boring after the initial shininess.
