u/acestraw, in case you're a bit confused, the penny is rotated. This is how that symbol usually oriented. As u/ChuckEye intimated, it's an inside joke and not a formal part of our symbolism. Kind of like how pumpkin pi is a mathematical joke.

For those wondering it was this kit off Amazon. Install wasn’t hard, just took some time. I used a pre-spaced out guide they provide you and painters tape to keep the guide in place. I put the guide exactly where it needed to go after looking at images on google. Once placed, I started sticking on the letters. Google “Ford Explorer Hood Letters Install” for some good pics with details. Overall I’m very happy and it gives the front end an awesome look!

I know that there are things like this. But if your asking for just the gold part without the chrome trim, I am not sure if it is sold seperate. You're best bet is to look at ebay or aliexpress for "stickers" for the front emblem.

Yeah, having stickers stuck on a car generally decreases the value.
