If you watch amazon, the price does vary quite a lot. I managed to pick both of mine up for £69 each in december 2015.

Lol.

Yeah, the reviews do actually communicate that: https://www.amazon.com/IFit-Graphite-Classic-Fitness-Tracker/dp/B012IYSJBC/

After trying 4 different bands I found 1 that works. All the others sucked and wouldn't fit.

I just periodically take it manually, don't like the feeling of anything on my wrist. This one is highly rated, cheap: https://www.amazon.com/YAMAY-Fitness-Pressure-Waterproof-Activity/dp/B07Q5FR4P3

Vagal breathing is worth it too, basics are to breathe in and out your mouth with a 1 in 2 out ratio. I can calm myself down really fast, counteract the stress response by doing this practice.

I listen to lots of podcasts at work (you could on your commute, if that's your thing), that tends to keep my mind in a positive place. There's being tired, and there's having a bad mindset. If I keep my mindset in check, I can be very tired with little repercussions.

I just got the fr235 refurbished by Amazon - should arrive today or tomorrow! I'm a little nervous too but the reviews were really good. We will see! I can update you if you like!

If you're wondering, it's this one .

Found them on amazon with prime for $6.

Not bad, if you've got prime.

Hey, I found an original Mi Band (no HR measurement) model on amazon.ca that's fulfilled by Amazon.

https://www.amazon.ca/Lightweight-Wireless-Bluetooth4-0-Healthy-Bracelet/dp/B00RCOYD50/

It's not that much more expensive than the online stores in China, CA$22 (~US$17.) It also qualifies for free shipping if you add another $3 to the order (or have Prime.) And you should have it as soon as next week,

The 1S model with HR measurement is also available for CA$38 ($US29) with free shipping.

Note also that these prices include HST.

If there's a gym like the others said, then that will be your best option (Especially if dumbbells are available for modified kb work).

The best alternatives when there's no gym for when I do travel, is either bodyweight/calisthenic exercises or (my favorite), bringing resistance bands. I picked up one of those MMA bodylastic band sets that come with all the extra handles/limb-torso/door attachments, and you can get an unbelievably powerful workout with those. I like using the bands in general with different workouts just because of their broad application...

Here's the resistance band set I was talking about from the vendor on amazon: (~$100, now - was about $30 more when I bought it a few years back and still going) : http://www.amazon.com/Bodylastics-Resistance-Stackable-components-Bodylastic/dp/B005NADBXK

If anyone does some extensive traveling between hotels/etc, those bands are well worth the investment. These will fit into any travel bag perfectly... you don't need to bring all the bands/accessory attachments with you either for space and/or personal reasons.

Sounds good! The syncing with the Mi Band is rather poor, sometimes not registering with my iPhone at all.

I have been extremely tempted by them for a while. I would probably go for the Fitbit Charge HR due to it also being a watch. Currently wearing the Mi Band with a Casio F-91W and can be a bit frustrating wearing the two at the same time.

Ordered two different bands from Amazon, let you know in a day or two :) I'll update later. Both claim to be Mi 1 compatible and good for the Go-tcha.

Finally got my band from Amazon. Got a real cheap one, so if it wasn't good I wouldn't have wasted much. Here's the one I got, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0154AVS9C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Yes, it's cheap looking, but no worse than the band that comes with the Go-tcha. The Go-tcha fits in well. It's kinda wierd. Either it sits fully in the space provided, but there's a slight flap of the plastic which covers part of the face of the Go-tcha, or you can push the Go-tcha out of the housing a bit and have that same flappy bit of the band wrap around the middle of the Go-tcha. The latter makes the Go-tcha stand very proud of the band and it'll be easy to scratch. I like it partially covered, it protects the face a little and you can position it so that you can still see what it's doing and press the red dot. Up to now I had been walking around with the Go-tcha in my pocket, but that's not ideal, you can inadvertently turn off some of the auto-capture functions when you are picking it out of your pocket if you touch the screen too long. I've worn the band on two hunting trips now, and it fits well and is comfy. I'm happy with it. There are lots of similar bands on Amazon, some are going to be shipped to you from China, so watch the delivery times. But I'd say you may be fine ordering many of them.

I also got a second cheap one from China, this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CY3Q9RI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It was $4.50 with free shipping. It's pretty much exactly like the standard Go-tcha band, but comes in different colours and fits the Go-tcha to a T. The Go-tcha stands out, above the band face, just like it does on the normal band. So it's more exposed than the band above. I like the one above, so that may be the one I use more, gives a little more protection to the cheap face of the Go-tcha. I don't normally wear a watch, so I can bang that thing if I wear it on my wrist.

It's tested accurate to within 100 calories. I highly recommend it. However this company was recently acquired by jawbone who makes a wristband version that seems a little better. Fitbit makes an identical band if you can't find it in stock. You should check them both out. This is something that is supposed to be worn 23 hrs a day. It might not be accurate if you were expecting to wear it only during workouts.

It's not a prime day deal, but I'm looking at getting the Galaxy Fit E. It's a cheap basic fitness tracker, but it sounds like it has a long battery life, swim proof, and notifications (but no reply). It's only $50, but it's only available from Amazon (international version since it's not sold in the US technically).

I didn't notice your phone until after I found the link, so you'll be locked into Samsung Health app, I believe.

The easiest thing is probably to work out at home. Get a bike or treadmill, and either get a set of resistance bands like this one, which I have and like a lot, or do a lot of bodyweight exercises. You can also work out with your baby, my daughter loves to copy me doing pushups and climbs all over me. For sure keep your back stretched and in good shape because there is SOOOO much bending and lifting and fenagling from weird angles. I messed my back up by being both out of shape and picking my daughter up out of her crib with poor form.

Amazon.co.uk ships to Europe.

EDIT: Depending on how much the forwarding service costs, ordering in the US might be cheaper.

After a lot of research I found an obscure wearable insole technology with haptic feedback vibrations from some random company that made "smart insoles" with GPS navigation and step counting.

https://www.amazon.com/Lechal-Navigation-Fitness-Tracking-Insoles/dp/B01GFWQRY4

In 2015 the CEO was talking about an open SDK for them but it never happened. It also mentions on the box that there are certain "hands free gestures" you can do, but I can't find anything detailing what those gestures are.

If nothing else, it'd be interesting to take one apart and see what kind of motor they used for the feedback. I'm assuming it's pretty quiet.

Get a misfit ray and wear it with your Pebble like I do. Pebble Health wasn't very good to begin with.

u/ebsebs · 1 pointr/pebble

You might want to try one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D4SFUTK/.

I got the "leather, loop" style, which isn't really leather, but a flexible plastic. I really like the magnetic clasp, as the band lays completely flat against the bottom of my wrist (no metal clasp), and it's easily adjustable. I got the small size, and it's more than big enough for my average size wrist.

Note that these are bands for the Fitbit Blaze, so they are actually 23mm wide vs. the 22mm standard for Pebble. It takes about a minute to trim the ends down a tiny bit to fit the Pebble watch.

u/Ruphies · 1 pointr/pebble

I got this one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D4SFUTK/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1&th=1

It does not budge and you can make it as tight or as lose as you want.

This is the excellent news. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm the user of the first updated version and I've been also using the very first version of Xiaomi Mi Band. I actually bought it few weeks ago on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019FBWK7K and I love the hear rate sensor. Using it every day every night. I know it's gonna be few more weeks till they start selling the new Mi Band 2, but will definitely buy it.

The UK Amazon, shipping... can't recall, it was not a major problem. I shipped it to Ireland, but it ships to Sweden as well.
